Made dinner reservations for six on the deck outside. Our waitress was amazing, wish I had her name to give her a shoutout. We had drinks that tasted good, made it in time for happy hour. I got the chicken tacos, I do not regret my decision on these, they were very delicious. Overall, I didn't think it was too pricey and everyone was very satisfied with their meals.

Rooftop 120 was so much fun! I called to make a reservation and the hostess was very pleasant over the phone. We wanted to have a group come to celebrate a birthday. Im so glad we all decided to choose to be together at this beautifully decorated bar! I enjoyed a delicious espresso martini and apps while we danced the night away! They had a DJ on Friday night and we all enjoyed the ambience and music. Unfortunately there was no outdoor availability due to the inclement weather but that only means we have to come again and I can't wait!

Honestly this place is washed up. The only reason they get 3 stars is because of the "rooftop" seating. Drinks are fine. Food is fine. Service was good. But it feels like an outdated club for people over 50 (respectfully). Sitting outside above the plaza is cool tho especially w the fire displays going. I will only go when my friends want to - otherwise it's not even on my list of options - so many better places to go in the area imo.

My Mai Thai was great! The truffle garlic fries are tasty and flavorful. I also enjoyed the fried boneless wings! Did I mention the fries? Ha! We couldn't get half & half (2 flavors for 1 order of wings) so we got a few sauces on the side! The salmon sliders were good but the name was deceptive. They were not described as salmon "Patties" or "cakes" So I thought I was getting a tiny cut of salmon on a bun. Instead, I got something like a salmon cake slider. This was not described on the menu, so there wasn't a way to know this ahead of time. The buffalo chicken egg roll (I think) was so good! They fried them fresh, and stuff them to perfection. It was definitely a shareable item! I wish the tater tots and buffalo egg roll stayed on the menu but they seem to change the menu often! Catch your faves while you can!

A friend told us about this really cool place in Glastonbury, and after an elevator ride to the third floor, here we were at Rooftop 120! I wasn't planning on coming here because I thought it was just a bar, but come to find out, half of the place is a restaurant. Pro tip, Tuesday night, the restaurant side has plenty of room. You may have to fight for parking, however. Got 4 delicious appetizers because we went out of control, so we didn't need to order any entrees (definitely will get some next time). We started with truffle fries - loved the giant flakes of Parmesan pieces! The calamari were cooked beautifully, and may I note that it was plentiful. The mac and cheese with pulled pork was flavorful and filling. The boneless wings were crispy and delightful (it was the only dish we didn't finish because we were so full - but they were still crispy the next day!) A shout out to the coolest sous chef, Denishea!

Food was delicious. I've been here a couple of times and it never disappoints. Service was great and ambiance with the live band sealed the night!

Went here for ladies happy about on a Wednesday night and had such a great time. The bartenders are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is to die for. From you exit the elevator the decor and atmosphere is just amazing. The bar was beautifully decorated with fall leaves and lights and it was just breathtaking. There is out door seating as well but even with the heater, it was still cold since its fall. The view of the sunset was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their food and drink but I had some truffle Mac and cheese bites and it was not the best. I think it was because of the the truffle but maybe if it was regular mac and cheese bites I would gave enjoyed it. The sweet potato tots were really good. An over great experience and I think I will be back to check out the dinner menu.

Like the 3-star rating indicates, I would describe Rooftop 120 as simply "ok." The restaurant itself is pretty trendy and hip-looking. You take an elevator to the 3rd floor and are immediately greeted by a hostess who asks if you're dining in or just grabbing a drink at the bar. The hostess also offered to take my coat, which I thought was nice. The interior of the restaurant (especially the bar area) is nicely decorated, and you can definitely get some Instagram-worthy photos in front of the artificial leaf wall, mural, or giant mirror. The bar area (which is in a separate room from the dining area) is cool, with string lights hung, etc. Now on to the food and drink- My margarita (on the rocks with salt) was very good. I ordered the apple honey crostini for an appetizer, which was decent. For my main meal, I got the crispy shrimp tacos, which came with chips and salsa on the side. The tacos were mediocre at best, and same with the chips and salsa (the chips seemed a little stale). Kind of strange- the tortillas for the taco were super fragile, both of mine broke open as I attempted to pick them up and eat them, causing all of the contents to spill out of the bottom. I was a little disappointed with them... Last thing- when paying by credit card, the server brought the card reader over to the table, rather than taking my card to a register and coming back with the receipt. More convenient I guess, but you're then asked to type the tip amount in right in front of the server... I always feel pressured by this and just don't like doing that in general. Overall not a bad spot, but did not live up to the hype in my opinion.

We had a lovely date night here!!! The food was superb and we shouted out the new Chef Xavier, the tastes and flavors of the Tapas were impeccable. We enjoyed the live band and people watching other guests getting loose after 11 pm lol. The outside deck was a nice touch with the food and music in the background. We thoroughly enjoyed and can't wait to come back in the future!!

Great food, great service, even greater view! This was my first time at Rooftop and it will not be my last. I enjoyed the after work vibe, music and people. It was a warm day and the breeze on top was amazing! I would love to check it out again later in the evening to see the fire pits going and the drinks flowing (did I mention they have a cold tequila tap?!) your welcome!

I love rooftop 120 and have for years. If you're looking for a gorgeous venue, live music, amazing food and a stunning view overlooking Glastonbury this is the place. Before I get into how great the food is my biggest recommendation especially for weekends is to MAKE A RESERVATION. You will pay a cover charge otherwise on nights they have a live band. Also seating is hard to come by outside without a reservation. No matter how big or small your group is. Now onto the food I usually try different things every time i'm at Rooftop 120 because they do change their menu. This time I had shrimp Cocktail, Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese, short rib sliders and corned beef empanadas. The empanadas were just okay not my personal favorite. The shrimp cocktail was fresh with super large shrimp. The short rib sliders were perfection. The short rib was tender and easy to bite into. The sauce was a wonderful complement to each bite. Now for the absolute star of the show the Buffalo mac and cheese. I could not put my fork down. I was sharing with someone and had to physically stop myself from eating because of how good it was. It had the perfect amount of Buffalo sauce, chicken, cheese and noodles. The best Buffalo mac and cheese I've literally ever had in my life. I ordered one to go and demolished it hours afterwards. Do yourself an enormous favor and order this. They also have just plain Mac and cheese or you can pick different toppings. Pick a warm day/night and enjoy everything (especially the Mac and cheese) Rooftop 120 has to offer.

We've had to repeatedly flag her down while sitting with empty plates and glasses. No check-ins, no acknowledgment. But basic hospitality like eye contact, clearing empties, professionalism -- isn't optional. My drink was poorly made and unbalanced, which only added to the frustration. What really crossed the line was hearing staff behind the bar openly speaking negatively about customers -- including people currently seated. That's not just bad service, it's unprofessional. It's unfortunate to see a place I enjoyed decline like this. I hope management steps in.

Choices were limited to 'small and large plates', there was no appetizer section. We were asked "sparkling bottled ($$) or tap water?". We chose tap. Server brought an old-style quart-size milk bottle and small juice-size glasses. The water had no ice, so I assumed water was cold, it wasn't. I ordered a 'breakfast' stout, my wife coffee. Stout was served in a wine glass, not a traditional pint glass. Wife said coffee wasn't that hot. When they brought our beverages, wife asked for a napkin since none were on the table. Like most civilized countries, I like to put a napkin in my lap when I sit down in a restaurant. Apparently you need to ask for one here. Young server muttered something about place settings are brought when food is delivered. I guess an ale and coffee aren't napkin worthy. Not sure what they accomplish with this goofy policy. It looks more like some kind of cost cutting measure. We made reservations a week earlier, wanted us to confirm a second time through text the same morning. It led me to think this must be a popular place with people clamouring to get in. Once there, place wasn't bust at all, no waiting customers and a sea of unoccupied tables. Our guest arrived after we ordered our beverages. After a few minutes, I ended up flagging down a server to get her a drink. Another sign we were stuck with a 2nd or 3rd-string staff. Our aunt ordered a specialty drink from their menu; "champagne in a laundry basket", (looked more like laundry water in a wash tub). After taking our orders, paper menus were collected to be reused. Maybe they were saving money on copy paper. I kinda' wish she left one in case we wanted desserts or something later. They were keeping the table clear of literally everything. I ordered a humus plate for use as an appetizer, something to share and couldn't be screwed up while waiting for our main course. When entrees showed up, we all chose 'smoked sausage eggs-benedict', extra servers were in tow with plates, napkins and silverware, napkin place settings given after all plates were on the table. My wife was seated across from me, sitting next to her Aunt Nan. The first plate was placed in front of me. Even being the neanderthal caveman I am, I knew this was the most basic etiquette faux pas (I felt humiliated j/k). Ladies are ALWAYS served first, another red flag from an inexperienced staff. The 'smoked sausage' Eggs Benedict failed on many levels. It wasn't hot, poached eggs were both over and under-cooked- egg whites had chunky white snot, yolks were not runny. The 'smoked sausage', was kielbasa logs cut in half lengthwise, they were overcooked and impossible to cut without flattening and mutilating egg and muffin. They could be used as wheel chocks, I had to deconstruct it so sausage could be wrestled with on the side. Wife said the 'homemade' English muffin had the tap water taste like what we were served 'for free'. I couldn't help but envision a garden hose filling a mop bucket used for filling the milk bottles. The Hollandaise sauce lacked silky richness and flavor, I've had better with McCormick packets. Benedict was overpowered with the taste of the smoked sausage. This meal was our aunt's special treat for our birthdays. They did not finish their meals, leaving mostly the pieces of the hockey puck-hard sausage. Server had been touting the pastry chef for the home-made English muffins. They were not any better than Thomas's English muffins. I am a plate-cleaner by habit, I've even been called human garbage disposal, so I managed to clear this one, (except for the egg snot, it would've taken a straw to finish it). My wife always has leftovers I happily dispose of quietly, not this time, gave it a hard pass. I felt unfulfilled, I was food frustrated, so I ordered some bacon cheese scones and shared them with the table. They turned out to be the best thing we had, warm Bisquick quality with a good taste of bacon and cheese almost as addicting as Red Lobster cheddar biscuits. We consumed them like a pack of hungry wolves. I asked and was told they don't serve them with butter. These begged for butter. IMO, butter should already be on the table. My wife picked this venue for our birthday treat meal with our beloved Aunt Nan from MA treating us. I apologized to her for our disappointing choice. She said she was glad I said it, she didn't want to say anything to make us feel bad. With tip, the bill for 3 was $171.00. We could have had a better meal and service at an IHOP for a quarter of the cost, I know I would have felt more satisfied. This experience made onto my list of top 5 worst eating experiences.

They used to have "simply prepared" on the menu that was just the fish, with seasonings and complementary sides. That's gone from the menu. It was always perfectly prepared and complimentary to whatever fish you were having. Last night, that changed for me. I have noticed over my last few visits a change in the restaurant. At first, I thought it was just my tastes changing, but last night proved me wrong. I had the "North Atlantic Swordfish Saltimbooca". The description was "Proccuitto, mozzaella cheese, sage mascarpone, white polenta". Polenta is usually soft, with the fish on top. This was polenta soup, with the fish literally swimming in it. In addition, it was greasy. There was a lot of oil around the side. And on top of that, the mozzarella formed a rather nasty hard cheese coating on the fish that I removed to the side with my fork. It was one of the most unappetizing things I've had in a long time. The swordfish was completely lost; no flavor at all. After a few bites, I gave up on it. I also noticed that drinks have gotten smaller. I ordered a martini. It used to be quite generous (it is a $16 drink after all). The glass last night was much smaller, at the same price. The wine was good, but that was about it. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I should have gone with the Fish and Chips! Hard to mess that up.
