She didn't notice us on a recent visit -- had her back to us -- and was told by another customer that we'd arrived. It was a cool place to visit at off-times -- and we could smoke there. The reality is that this place is down on it's luck, and they're doing nothing by way of friendliness at all to make up for the shabby, threadbare furniture or the (*gasp*) bathroom -- the floor now squishes when you walk on it. I was afraid the toilet and I were gonna fall through to the floor below. And forget about the smell. We're going to keep trying, in hopes that we may someday witness it's reincarnation -- or renovation. You may not be so patient.
