We had to sit at a table for hookah so we sat by the pool table under the TVs. They even put the game on for us! I've only done hookah once before so I wasn't too sure what I was doing, figured it out quickly though. It was definitely a chill vibe and ended up getting pretty busy a bit after 12 when we were leaving. Seems like a good neighborhood spot but I don't think it's my vibe so I'm unlikely to return.

The pita burgers a great and they're filling! We've tried all the protein options, but I think the beef is our favorite because the spices really stand out. I also really like the Ashak which is comprised of dumplings full of spinach and scallions, topped with spiced beef, lentils, and yogurt. The bar feels really open and airy, and bartenders are always friendly and attentive, even when they're busy getting ready for evening service. We frequently go for HH on a Saturday around 5 and it's usually pretty quiet at the bar which we enjoy. Great place whether you've had Afghan food, or you are looking to try something different!

The ladies room is quite nice with a full length mirror and several stalls. I look forward to my next visit!

Maybe as a respected establishment you should reconsider who you allow to be the face of it. There was no need for this man child to be as aggressive as he was. This situation was handled very poorly due to what seemed to be ego, poor pay, and just a complete disaster of a life. Do better You should ask your employees to provide more detail. We had a photo as the dmv confiscates the old one as they do with everyone. My wife was simply coming to watch us play pool. She had no plans to drink as she had just came from drinking with her friends ( mind you she had the same form of id there) but not the point as she wasn't even going to be consuming alcohol in your establishment.

Now, the woman (who calls herself the manager) who holds court there must be summoned away from her cadre of regulars just to serve us a drink. She didn't notice us on a recent visit -- had her back to us -- and was told by another customer that we'd arrived. It was a cool place to visit at off-times -- and we could smoke there. The reality is that this place is down on it's luck, and they're doing nothing by way of friendliness at all to make up for the shabby, threadbare furniture or the (*gasp*) bathroom -- the floor now squishes when you walk on it. I was afraid the toilet and I were gonna fall through to the floor below. And forget about the smell. We're going to keep trying, in hopes that we may someday witness it's reincarnation -- or renovation. You may not be so patient.

Oh, I digress. The food has always been delicious and service was always courteous. I've never had a bad experience. Butterfly hosts private events in their private space and can fit at least 28, seated. In those occasions, they serve meals family style per groups of 4 so it isn't like a buffet setup. The main dining area is beautiful. It's actually quite large spanning two sections. I've never been when it's busy so I haven't yet seen it full. Besides those areas, they have the bar where the party happens, pretty much. Happy hour is between Monday to Friday starting at 4p and ends at 7p. Be warned that there are no to go boxes so be sure to only order what you can consume. There's honestly no wrong dish. I would ask myself, what do I want to eat more. I especially love the fried rice, general Tso chicken and chicken lettuce wrap. Another warning, the alcohol is strong. Enjoy!
