Awesome addition to the Flemington area! I've heard a lot of good things about this place and needed to give it a try. I ordered pickup directly from Yelp, after reading the great reviews. I created my own bowl with two scoops. It consisted of: brown rice, spicy tuna, salmon, cucumber, corn, cilantro, mango, Hawaiian shoyu, and tempura flakes. To be frank, I've had better poke bowls. Maybe it was the texture of the rice, the overly salty shoyu collected at the bottom of the bowl, or the combo selection itself, this poke bowl lacked consistent flavor and the feeling of refresh for me. I wish the cilantro was cut into smaller pieces and the corn was sweet for that nice burst of flavor. Still, I finished the bowl and can definitely say the portion is filling. Again, Poke Cafe is a great addition to the area. I'd love to give it another shot. Cheers!

Decided to try this place out after getting my nails done, and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the Salmon & Tuna bowl with white rice and it was really good. Nice size portions and fish was fresh. I also tried the Taro Bubble tea. I was pleasantly surprised the bubble tea was actually really good (didn't taste powdery) and the boba was cooked perfectly.

Amazing to have a poke place in this area, and with so many quality protein options! The raw fish is fresh and delicious, but their cooked shrimp options and chicken look good too. The fact that they don't just have the standard salmon/tuna and spicy versions of both, but also offer seared salmon, pepper tuna, walnut shrimp, and so on, is amazing! Love that they also offer zucchini noodles as a base. They don't skimp on serving size either. Also offers bubble tea - another thing hard to find around Flemington. The demographic around here isn't particularly diverse - when I first visited shortly after they opened, there were a lot of folks commenting how they'd never heard of poke or bubble tea before, and were afraid to try it. I hope more people will give it a try - this place is a gem and they just don't know it yet!

One problem. I was dying to eat here cause o like to eat healthy. I was in town from Long Island and I walked in, waited nearly 10 minutes and no one came to the counter. Complete ghost town. Only poke place in town, but thankfully it's actually good. I got the menu chicken/beef bowl (5A), and my husband got the custom Spicy Salmon bowl and added bunch of stuff. A lot of good flavors, sauces and fresh ingredients. Service was quick and easy, and place was spacious. We got also Thai bubble tea which was tasty as well (not too sweet). This place is so cool they have a Pokémon card machine where the packs look like stain glass and the food is freakin good I'm very excited for the poke bowl I got but other stuff on menu sounds good too drinks look good too like this place is dope definitely go there if you like poke bowls and kimchi. If I could give this place 100 stars I would the food is great and it's worth not even done with the spicy crab salad like I needed to post cause the food is great. Did take out through Yelp and the order was waiting for me when I arrived 20 minutes later. Had the salmon and spicy crab poke bowl which was great and the salmon and tuna poke bowl which was good but maybe a bit lacking in dressing which made it dry. We had both bowls with salad not rice. My husband and I love poke bowls but there's nothing near us. We were so excited when we spotted this place when we were shopping in Flemington a couple wks ago. Based on good Google reviews (only 3 reviews on Yelp) we decided to give it a try it...and it didn't disappoint ^_^ We had salmon and tuna with spicy/regular poke sauce, and they were fresh for sure b/c I have a sensitive stomach when it comes to raw fish. They offered quite a few options of cooked protein for those who don't eat raw fish, good selections of toppings, crunchies and varieties of sauces. I also got the black tea latte w/ bubbles The place was very clean and refreshing, and the staff was friendly. We're happy to finally find a good poke bowl place near (enough) us and will definitely come back for more and try other toppings and sauces . It's worth the 20-min drive for us, you should give it a try too! read more

So I have now been here a half dozen times and it is now my favorite lunch spot. It is healthy and tasty and the service is great. I love all the options of things to put into your bowl! You can't go wrong with rice or salad, avocados, mangoes, salmon, tuna, chicken, beef or crab meat- so many great options for gluten free eaters, hi protein eaters, or just foodies who like to customize their bowls. Excellent meal! A friend of mine came to an event with food from Poke Cafe. I said "that looks really good." They raved about Poke Cafe, so I tried it. The food is amazing! Very fresh, well prepared and delicious. I had a spicy salmon and tuna poke and it was delicious. Don't forget to get a bubble tea. I got a mango bubble tea and it was off the charts! What's the deal with these Poke Bowls? I mean, who knew raw fish and rice could deliver such a punch of flavor? Servers were kind. All the toppings were fresh and well-prepared. Restaurant was clean, and there was plenty of seating. I've only tried the poke bowl so cannot comment on the bubble tea. My one complaint is they were using something like Chinese take-out rice instead of proper seasoned sushi rice. Bummer bc rice really makes a big difference in poke. The rice didn't stand up to the sauces and became soupy. Given that the portion size is on the smaller side, sushi rice should be included in the price. I hope the owners see this and make this important change. read more

We enjoy Poke very much and just learned about Poke Cafe. We had to give it a try. All five members of our family enjoyed their Poke Bowl. We all ordered our own "Poke Your Way" bowl and we will be back. Of note, the pepper tuna, spicy tuna and walnut shrimp are great. Everything was fresh. The toppings and sauces were also terrific. Of note, the spicy crab salad, edamame, and seaweed salad were delicious. Looking forward to more Poke. read more

Since it was our first time there, we took some time to look at the menu and came with questions when we ordered. I saw that they have a matcha latte on the menu but nowhere did I see any specials or what syrups could be added to the matcha. Because of this, I asked the person checking us out if they had any syrups and if they could be added to the drinks. He listed off the syrups (vanilla, hazelnut, etc) and also included a "strawberry puree" in the list. So I considered that and said I would order it with the strawberry puree. The woman who was making the drinks beside him then said something along the lines of "so you're ordering a strawberry matcha latte". Like I was suppose to know that and order that way. I responded "yeah, I guess so but is that on the menu because I don't see it". Then she confirmed it's not on the menu. I didn't know if it would cost more or if it wasn't suppose to be included as a syrup or if she was training him. It was just an odd interaction rubbed me the wrong way though and left an uncomfortable feeling for me. We were going to enjoy our stuff there but after that we decided to take it to go. I'm not sure if I will return as it is not a local spot for us and we made a special visit out there to try it. My drink was good and the macaron was also yummy. I would recommend it regardless because their stuff is good and my interaction could just be a one off.

The bubble tea was $5.99 which is a good price for bubble tea but it's in a much skinnier container than I am use to for that price and it was good but definitely not the best I've ever had. For our mains, we had the lamb chops and the lemon chicken, both of which were delicious. The lamb was tender and perfectly cooked, and the lemon chicken had such a bright, balanced flavor. The potatoes were a standout, roasted and finished in a lemon butter that made them unforgettable. If you haven't been in a while, or didn't realize there's been a change, it's definitely worth stopping in. Main Street businesses could really use the support, and this place is one that deserves it. Go say hi to Mo and give it a try.

Service is amazing as only a small American diner can deliver. I love coming to Flemington's Main Street and enjoying the old school shop to bring the experience home. I'll always search for a nice bagel but I'll always return to the great American Bagel restaurant for the best quality & flavors anywhere.
