Shrimp tempura roll, spicy tuna roll
    David S.

I decided to try the new sushi restaurant that opened a few days ago, around the corner from Buffalo Wild Wings. I walked in around 1:45pm on their first Saturday. Nearly every seat was taken. I took a seat at the bar since I was by myself. The staff (about 3-4 people working the floor) were very friendly and were quick to take my order. It looked like there were only two chefs making all of the orders, which would explain why it took 30 minutes for the meal to be served. The rolls were cut into 5-6 pieces each. The shrimp tempura was almost too big to fit into my mouth. The inside is well lit. The walls are adorned with artwork of various animated characters (e.g., Pokémon). It is BYOB. Their drink options are soda, bottled water or slushes. Their lunch specials (e.g., bento boxes) are only available during the week apparently. Another customer asked for one and left when they were told they weren't available. The menu doesn't say what days or times the lunch specials are offered. Since they're only five minutes from our house, we will be back.

New found Japanese Restaurant in Hunterdon County. Foods are delicious and quite huge servings. We had fried squid and gyoza for appetizers. Then we have the tonkutsu and black garlic ramen. I'm not a ramen lover but after tasting this ramens. I'm beginning to like and love it. For dessert we have the green tea mochi. Since we loved the foods we have some more to go , sushi and sashimi combo with ginger salad as well as the steak fried rice. Happy tummy and Over all everything was good. Service is fast and orderly. They have wonderful, helpful, hospitable and polite staffs. Place is busy and packed at the time we went there. It was almost 7pm but we're lucky to have an available spot good for me and my wife. Place is new with different anime paintings on the walls. Clean restrooms and place is well maintained. First time to visit this place but definitely we will coming back with my family.

Really enjoyed it here! The hand painted anime on the walls is amazing!! It was packed so service was a little slow but not bad, I could see they were really trying. The steak ramen was delicious. Their whole menu is interesting and I can't wait to try more. The slush is so refreshing too!

Ramen and sushi finally arrived! This place is a long-awaited, must-have addition to the area. I visited during grand opening week and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. The interior decor is so fun, the service is friendly, and the food quality is great. Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious. Even on a Thursday night, the restaurant was packed and had a great energy. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

I ordered the Akamaru Modern Ramen, the BBQ short rib plate, and the mango shaved ice everything was absolutely delicious. The short ribs were incredibly tender and flavorful, paired perfectly with rice and their macaroni salad, which is surprisingly SO good because I normally don't even like macaroni salad from restaurants. The ramen was rich, comforting, and full of flavor as always. The mango shaved ice was refreshing and came topped with popping mango pearls and mochi, which made it even better. The ambiance is nice bright and decorative. Clean. The service is always great, and Jimmy always remembers me and is so welcoming every time I come in. The ladies in the front are pleasant and everyone teams up to ensure you have a pleasant dining experience. Everybody I've brought here ends up loving this place too. My total was about $55, and since I paid cash, I even got a little discount, which was a nice bonus. Definitely one of my favorite spots! If you go, I hope you enjoy it like I do.

Worth reconsidering this place…read more We just reached out to place a large order because we love the food so much. We frequently order from here but wanted to try something new. When we called in to confirm that the Udon noodles do NOT have egg (as we have a child with an egg allergy), the woman taking our order curtly said "I threw out the box, it's white, you have to look for yourself." When we mentioned we do not know the brand to look, she replied "me neither, I threw out the box." Needless to say - the food is great, but honestly, the family owned business officially sucks. There's a way to respond to things and that just isn't it. Especially as someone taking orders. So thank you for ending this streak for us. The crap service made it easy to make this place a 1 star.

That is what you get when you get great eats at Terakawa Ramen. As you enter, you'll notice the wall murals with the chefs on one side and the opposite wall has anime customers slurping their ramen. Yes, it's perfectly fine to make those loud slurping noises to show your appreciation for a great bowl of ramen. Here's what was ordered: - Signature Terakawa Ramen - 4.5/5 stars Boasted of rich, lovingly homemade pork bone soup with a good amount of sliced roast pork, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, ginger, scallions, and a jammy egg. The straight thin noodles were al dente. They maintained their texture in the broth, brilliantly. The broth was deep and flavorful. - Pork belly Donburi - 4.5/5 stars The juicy tender pork belly was plentiful, sliced perfectly as their we're not too thick nor paper thin. Their flavor was rich, savory with a balance of sweetness from the soy dashi sauce. Elegantly layered in top of a humongous bowl of seasoned rice, along with a sprinkle of scallions, pickled radishes, and sesame seeds. The photo on their menu does not do it justice. I would have loved a jammy egg to be included to bring the dish to the next level. - Gyoza - 3.5/5 stars 5 pieces of Pan-fried gyoza dumplings with their dumpling sauce. I would prefer them to have been fried a bit more. The balance between their pork and cabbage was even. They were delightfully light in both taste and texture. The service was very good. Both Willie, the owner, and a charming waiter named Sung served us. Sung kept coming over checking in to attest our cups were full, and if we needed anything else. I was told the have two locations: Philadelphia and the one we're dining at, Princeton Junction, NJ. Both locations serve homemade recipes from the Kumamoto region of Japan. If ramen is your love language, this place will absolutely speak to your soul.

Portion sizes are quite large as well. The chicken karage app we ordered was only okay. The weekends get busy so there could be a wait. The restaurant isn't that large. One perk is that it's next to a large korean supermarket. Service is fast and friendly.
