This is the place to go for wings. I love their wings here. They don't have to mask their chicken with 12 different sauce options. You get their standard wings. They offer a ton of local beers on tap and in the bottle. The bar moves pretty fast. The wings, however, do not, especially if it is busy. It is a small establishment with a small kitchen. I have had their apps like sweet potato fries and those are delicious. But I come here for the wings! Any time I come back to Wisconsin, this place is on the list. They do a slightly spicy dry rub on their wings, bake and fry them. They aren't the greasy, gross, covered in sauce ones you get at BDubs but true, all american wings. I will say though, get there early as it fills up quickly and people like to hang out. We got there around 5 on a Thursday and were barely able to get a table. read more

These were the best chicken wings I've ever had. Simple and straight to the point. So many wings get doused in the same buttery buffalo sauce. These are fantastic. read more

Lived in MKE for 5yrs and this place is always on my list of places to must go when I visit. I miss when they had the legit fried pickles, the pickle fries just aren't the same. Also miss the dart board. read more

Great wings, nice atmosphere and people. I have an issue with calling this place a dive bar. the prices are a tad on the expensive side to be called a dive bar. I'd just call it a pub. read more

Best wings in Milwaukee. Worth the wait. Don't come here if you're high maintenance and expect table service. I promise the wings make it all worth it! read more

Best Wings You'll Ever Have!! It takes awhile to get them, but well worth the wait. Cheap Beer & Great Wings, What Else Do You Need To Know!? read more

Whats there not to like.. there was every football game playing on every tv.. the people were nice the wings were phenommmm nom nom.. i definetly will be back!!!! read more

Great wings...maybe the best in Milwaukee. Good cheap bar food, great beer selection. Good daily deals. Great divey atmosphere. Just get there early because it is tough to get a table read more

Some of the best wings I have had anywhere. Worth the wait. I was there a few weeks ago on my first trip back to Milwaukee since I moved away 5 years ago. The wings were every bit as good as I remembered them. The service is slow though as it was busy and they take their time to cook the wings right. On the plus side the bar tender told me it would be a while before I ordered so I knew what I was getting into. I will definitely stop in again next time I pass through Milwaukee read more

Points East has the best wings I've personally tried in Milwaukee. Lots of craft beer options to compliment. Great local neighborhood feel/atmosphere and enjoyable setting for sports games in the afternoon. read more

Finally tried there wings. If the hype wasn't so much i would have probably thought they were better. Definitely a good wing but also definitively not the best wing in Milwaukee. read more

Best wings. Hands down. Stop looking. Found it. Here you go. Great environment. Fast service.

Great place to catch Chicago sports. Decent bar food and friendly staff!!

Best wings in Milwaukee and it's not close. However be prepared because the have a number of stipulations. No call in orders. No takeout orders during packer games (no exceptions even if it's the 4th quarter and Tyne game is essentially over). I understand the policies because they want to give good service to the patrons that are actually there at the bar buying drinks. But it still makes it tough because my trips to downtown are not as frequent post kids and I relish every opportunity to eat those wings! read more

Good wings! Always busy which means the food must be good. Just expect to wait if you go after 4 pretty much any day during the week. Plenty of tvs. The place is pretty small, but a good place to grab a beer and some wings after work. read more

The wings are hands down one of the greatest things ever! It's not like some other places where you taste the sauce and it's the biggest focus of the place. No! It's the wings themselves that are presented in front you! There is only one way to get the wings so the way they make them is the way you get them! I see why they were voted best wings in Milwaukee! read more

The wings are delicious but the service sucks. My husband drove all the way there to put in a to-go order for wings and they REFUSED to serve him. Said dine-in only because they don't have enough wings for dine-in and pick-up orders. First, why don't you have enough food for football Sunday? Second, why is management's poor planning the consumer's problem? The restaurant basically turned my husband away empty handed and lost a couple of devoted customers! read more

Man at the door was not welcoming. It was our first time and we didn't realize you had go go up to the bar for food (took 20 min sitting at a table to realize). Food was okay, somewhat timely, but service was really subpar. read more

I have been to Points East countless times while I lived in Milwaukee for 6 years, I just revisited the place when I was in town for a wedding. It's great they remolded and put the windows in, it really opened the place up. I've read the reviews and here is how the wings are actually made: They are first fried, like traditional wings, then sauce is applied to them, and they are place on the grill to cook further, that's why they seem dry when you get them. Their is no "dry rub" and they are fried AND grilled, not just grilled. The wings are awesome, some of the best you will ever have. Great place to go for football, beer, and wings. If you have an issue with not having a server that comes to your table every 3 minutes, its an easy fix, don't go to any tavern in the Midwest. It's amazing that people can't get off their a$$ to walk up to a bartender and get a drink. read more

On a recommendation from a very good friend I stopped in to have an order of the wings. Now I have been all over the US and have tried some very good wings.... That being said this easily comes in my top 3 as my all time fav wings. The preparation of the wings are just spectacular, they flash fry then grill the wings... leaving a grilled wing flavor while still having a nice coat on the wing. It was warm but not too spicy and the ranch dip was awesome. It's a Pub so alcohol is plentiful and deals are to be had. The only drawback was the size of the pub being a bit cramped when I went, but if you love wings this is your place MIlwaukee!!! I will be a repeat customer for the foreseeable future!!!! read more

By far the best wings I have ever had. Wish more places would put the effort into making their wings. $1 pbr talls on wed, good deal if you get wings read more

The wings are really great. But the service has been HORRIBLE both times we went there. Ignored by the bartender while only 3 others were in the bar. Ignored for so long a server that appeared to be doing side work to finish her shift came over to help us out. The second visit the server was rushed and rude. Forgot to bring 50% of the items we asked for. But the wings are really good! read more

Wings first. They succeed at their goal - to make them maintain their juiciness. While that doesn't make them the "best", they are pretty good. The "bleu cheese" dip though, is total slop. I can see why they expanded cause it's kinda tight. Nice edged bar instead of the same straight line across. Has some beers; many TV's. Crowd is - grittier? OK but I wouldn't spend any time there but for the wings. read more

Hands down the BEST wings in Milwaukee. Kind of a dive bar- but that's what makes this place AWESOME. It has character! :)

A fun time in a cool looking bar that occupies some old homes in Milwaukee . This is a gentrified neighborhood of yuppies and the crowd is young and across the street is a modern suburban style strip mall that they unfortunately allowed. This place though is still old and true to its blue collar origins of a bar and is much bigger than it appears on the outside stretching through two buildings. No one was older than 24 the night I went. read more

Would love to give this place 3 more stars the food and price was amazing but the was unbelievably poor. Came in on my lunch break, was told all ordering happens at the bar so the only place to stand was the end of the bar. So I waited and I waited and I waited. The only bartender was talking and filling the til with change, so I went and to work my way closer. Did notice she walking odd and bumped into each of the tils. When I finally got her attention she screamed at that she didn't see me and she was busy. Thing is when screamed at me she was heavily slurring clearly she had been drink on the job but what bartender doesn't.... I guess. Placed my order and it did come out quickly and hot! In all truth the food tasted great and the cheeseburger and fries only 8$!!!!! Way worth it but the music was so loud no one could talk and all 7 TVs had the same sport on and the bartender not only seem rude but drunk so guess go at your own risk the food is good read more

Walked in good vibes at firs... then I had to wait about 30 mins for 6 wings and fries and when my food came out my fries was cold ... and when I told the blonde bartender she picks them up and say the bottom feels warm ‍ like no shit it s the bottom the top was ice cold.. she then did not check on me for the rest of the night then when I asked for my bill and it was 14.05 I want to pay 14 on my card and 25 cents in cash .. she says "why don't you put it all on the card ?!? So you want 20 cents back ... like excuse me who are you to question how I wan to spend my money horrible customer service the wings aren't worth being treated like crap/ The server did not give me a spot at the bar the seat was already open .. my chicken was very hot n fresh my fries were extremely cold so to be questioned is ridiculous. Then the owner states the bartender went out her way to seat me !! Seriously at a seat yourself bar . No she did suggest I scoot over to be "more comfortable " I walked in canvased and she did let me know the seat I was standing next to was open ! Oh n she also yelled "calm the fuck down " to a patron trying to get her from swiping a card yes she got me fresh fries AS she should the first time ! I came for hot food on a cold day ! .. unprofessional tavern read more

Not what I expected. Wings were supposed to be awesome but I did not like them. They were dry and kinda of burnt tasting. At least we had $1 PBR bottles to wash it down. read more

After reading a lot of reviews on this place, I was pretty excited to give it a try. My boyfriend and I went around 10 on a Thursday during March Madness. We ordered right away. Drinks were a decent price and came up quick. The wings took a little longer, closer to an hour. I was slightly hesitant that there was only one flavor, but after they arrived, I was very pleasantly surprised. The flavor was rich and spicy, a perfect combination. I would highly recommend taking time out of your day to stop by. 5 out of 5! read more

What awesome exciting place. Found this place 17 years ago. The best food and of coarse wings. Made different than anyone else. Great bar! !!! Liked so much. I got a job there!!!!! read more

I have being wanting to do this review for a wile , but didn't got the chance until now. I absolutely love this pub because everyone is very friendly, it's super popular it's always busy but they are never to busy to give great service, I have to say that the wings are just amazing they are spicy, juicy super flavorful and you can taste the love that is put into it! Thanks again points east pub for always being on point! Special thanks to Erika and Bill read more

These wings are unbeatable. Cooked with a slight char so the sauce does not get all over your hands. Properly spicy with a lingering hot finish. Recommended with a spicy red Zin. If you normally eat 10 wings, order 20! read more

These are the best tasting wings in Milwaukee to me, although I have not tried wings over Milwaukee yet. They are expanding the kitchen which will help speed things up. Last two times I was there the wait for food was very reasonable, however depends on day/time. Not the most friendly staff but I go for the wings! read more

The wings are extremely good. Unbelievable. Very chill vibe. We asked about some general "around town" knowledge and the bartender, HEATHER, told us to Google it. Rude. The other bartender was embarrassed enough to take the time to get a guide to find another place that fit our needs. I don't think every bartender should be a tour guide, but common social decency should be a requirement when working with the public for tips. read more

Points East Pub - Sports Bars Near Me - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Why would you have "the best wings in Milwaukee" but you can't order to go or call to carry out? The owner is an asshole who obviously doesn't want money if he says he "doesn't want that type of business here" I wasn't too sad though. The place is over crowded and boring. read more

Best chicken wings we've ever had. It's not greasy and is loaded with flavor. We haven't tried anything else on their menu but why would you!? Atmosphere is fun. People are super friendly. read more

These are the best wings I have ever eaten. No comparison. I regularly visit MKE just to eat these wings.

This place sucks! After 1 1/2 hrs we were told we still wouldn't have our wings for another 45 minutes! The girl cooking was a sarcastic B----! We got our money back and left hungry! Will never go back! I only gave 1 star because I had to leave something ! read more
