Hands down best wings in Milwaukee. If you're looking for service or atmosphere, Don't expect to get it here! Great wings, cheap, good beer - come here about once a month and don't feel like I come enough read more

Are the wings good? Absolutely. Is the service awful? Most definitely. I've never been to a place that has a colder, more rude staff. If you can put up with the attitude and general hostility then go ahead but I think I've had my fill. After multiple visits I've realized that other places are more deserving of my money. read more

Some bars but I don't know if this is one of the locations has reopened regardless of there Governors orders but got it overturned in Court. I do want to say thank you for doing this. I just however want to point out that after a week or 2 if word comes back that most or all of the ones at a bar became positive for COVID-19 then all of us will know it's not a good idea to reopen. If you don't test positive then we know it's safe to start reopening. This might sound like I'm mean but thank you for being a test rat for what Trump want to do and that is going against experts advise. I got a response from the owner and as I said at the top of this message I am not sure if this is one of the places. I could go and type reviews for all bars but not all of them are open. Now the owner here clarified that they are not open for sit down service and that is smart. During these hard times remember a stronger business is ones like this one to do the right thing. Thank you. read more

We had reservations at a nearby restaurant and got there way too early. As we don't live in MKE asked for recommendations on where to grab a drink - great bar on the corner they said. And they were right! Didn't get food. But the wings smelled amazing. Solid bourbon selection. The staff was nice, and this place had a great vibe. I'd go back! read more

I really wanted to like this place. Heard about the wings being some of the best in the country. Let me tell you about the experience. We arrived and sat at a table that had not been cleared yet. The bus boy arrived after 10 min cleared the table but never wiped the table down that had gunk all over it. We grabbed the menus that were so disgusting and I felt the need to wash my hands after handling. We realized that we had to order at the bar for food and drink. We ordered cheese curds, wings and a burger at 6:50 we received our food a little over an hour later. How long does it take for fried food and a burger... granted they were busy but a bit ridiculous. Overall the wings were good but my friend only ate quarter of burger and said it was over cooked dry frozen patty that was not as good as McDonald's. In my book service is key and this was significantly lacking. It felt like the employees were way to comfortable with their situation. read more

Possibly the best wings i have ever had HOWEVER it is combined with the longest wait for food I have ever had and the most cramped I have ever been in a restaurant. With that sad, they should really expand or do something. The stomach is willing but there is only so much I can mentally handle while seeking delicious wings. I would rather have decent wings with enough space to enjoy them and within a reasonable time frame instead of the best wings I have had but I have to get up to get a refill and I have to wait nearly 2 hours for my food. read more

When a person comes in and waits an hour and half for wings, with the understanding there will be a wait, when they have to leave to unexpectedly pick up their 15 year old from work the last thing the bar staff should say to them is "well thats your poor parenting decision you knew before hand there was a wait" especially after she made the decision to shot after shot behind the bar. Get better bar staff and maybe your establishment will be worth returning to. read more

First time visit, it'll be my last time. I was taken to this bar to experience their famous wings, and I must say that the wings are very tasty. Absolutely LOVED them. The service of the staff however, is a different story. I found that every bartender was dismissive to us, a bit standoffish, and seemed to be uninterested in trying to assist us. While the patrons that I interacted with were very friendly, not one of the staff members were. Initially my first impression was that they simply were overwhelmed with the crowd, but I was confused as to why they wouldn't be able to handle a regular Sunday-Game Day rush until after the crowd cleared a bit and they still possessed the same dry, lackluster, unenthusiastic somewhat bothered interactions. While the wings were great, they aren't enough to get me to spend my hard earned money in a place where it seems to be a bother to serve me, I will not be back. read more

The lack of stars has nothing to do with the wings, they are definitely worth stopping in for. The lack of stars is for the scrawny bartender who wears a fedora. My boyfriend and I just had lunch there and received terrible service. The guy cooking the food did almost everything, was polite and efficient. The other bartender had me waiting for ten minutes to simply sign out a tab when there was, no joke, 15 people in the entire establishment. He also neglected to get us water refills which is slightly crucial when eating hot wings. Don't get me wrong, I will come back here, but I have a serious problem with slow bartenders who make eye contact and still don't get to you. It didn't help that it took him literally 5 minutes to make one Bloody Mary. Great wings, just may need some new staff. read more

Very surprised about all the hype this place receives. The wings were very average. I thought I would be blown away but that was not the case. They were also a little on the pricey side. I would come back but only if there was a good game on and if I was really craving average wings. read more

Great wings, great bartenders, good prices. I will be back when I get downtown

I've been to Points East several times with friends for wings and drinks. Each time I've been to Points the service hasn't been great but what you'd expect from a bar. Today I went into Points East for wings and a few drinks but couldn't get past the horrible service. Stood in line behind three different groups of people only to watch the bartender proceed to another area of the bar allowing a new line to form completely disregarding those of us (myself and two other couples) that had already been waiting for her as she moved as slow as possible to take the orders of those in front of us. Wings are great but awful service puts a bad taste in anyone's mouth. I'll pass next time. read more

I was told by multiple people that points east pub has the best wings in town. My friends and I visited points east on sunday to watch some football games in the afternoon. Bill was our bartender, and took care of our group after we figured out there wasnt any table service. We got 50 wings, garlic ff, and some mozz sticks. All of the food was great, but the wings were fantastic!! I dont know what the secret is,but points east sure knows its chicken wings. We were told it would be an hour for wings, but seemed faster than that, the cooks deliver the food to the tables we noticed. I for sure will be returning to points east for more chicken wings sometime soon. read more

THE BEST CHICKEN WINGS! They were delicious. Had the wings and the cheese curds and the Centennial IPA from Lakefront brewery. The cheese curds had a light batter that wasn't overpowering and the beer was hoppy and wonderful read more

the wings were fantastic, and a decent deal for what you get. they are BIG, seasoned well and grilled, which adds a smoky flavor. mmph.

I've been to Points East quite a few times and I can't say that I've ever had a bad night there. I've never seen any of their live shows, but I have heard some of the music (which was okay). The drinks are decent, as are the bartenders. Sometimes, they might score you a free drink or a lazy pour once they get to know you better. The food is decent bar fare. I don't normally buy food at a bar for obvious reasons (not much to be expected), but I have here and can't complain. If there are specials, the prices aren't too bad. There are games for the anti-social or those waiting for friends. Overall, the bar is relatively clean for an East Side bar. It is pretty small in the front, so if it's a busy night you'll have to dance a bit to get around. read more

The original wings are amazing-definitely lives up to the hype! Dive-bar feel was authentic. So much food! You can definitely order one side to share between two people if you get a full order! The garlic fries are great (this comes from a garlic lover)! read more

Best wings in Milwaukee! Tried the other places on the 2014 Wingsfest winners list but none compare to these wings!

This place is my jam, my jelly, my wonder bread. It's a hometown corner bar with bomb people. At its best on a weekday night when you're trying to catch a bucks or brewers game. Boss if you talk to people too. read more

Wings, garlic fries and poppers are great. Fun atmosphere to watch a game and hang out with friends. We'll be coming back often.

Thee best wings ever. I go here OFTEN. I never get tired. It's a bar so expect that but the wings are AhmaZING!!

Not impressed. The wings are definitely not great. The place is very over priced considering the fact that they don't even have waitresses to bring you your food/drink, which is odd because the whole place is table seating. I have been here 3 times, each time the service was slow and very rude. I will not give them another benefit of the doubt chance. There are too many other restaurants in the downtown area to waste your money on poor service and less than average food. read more

I will never try to eat or drink here again and highly discourage anyone else to. Terrible service and very dirty kitchen. It took me an hour to wait on my food that I never received while watching everyone who ate around me drunkenly devour their food. I was told by the staff 3 times that my meal "would be the next one out". If you're hungry don't go. If you're starving, be willing to wait. If you don't care about service or quality have at it and cross your fingers. read more

Was there on Sunday afternoon, order time to food arrival was over 45 minutes.. wings had good flavor but were very over cooked. I actual prefer my wings crispy but not like jerky as these were. Garlic fries were delicious. I will not return there are much better wings in Milwaukee area read more

Best wings in Milwaukee without a doubt. When you get there, claim a table and then go up to the bar to place your order. I've seen some people complain that no one came to take their order. Think of this place more as a bar that just happens to serve the best wings ever and not a full out restaurant. With that said, you wont be disappointed. read more

I come here about 3-4 times a month for the last year, I absolutely love it. Friday I got off work and thought I'd go start my new year right with wings. When my boyfriend and I walked in we went to the bar I hung up my coat and sat down. The lady bartender with colorful hair approached us and said " if you don't have enough to share you need to go air, no seriously you need to step out side and do the Michael Jackson or something, the cops come in here all the time." We laughed thinking he was joking and she insisted we step outside. So I grabbed my items and left. This isn't my first rodeo and the cops that come in won't reprimand you for what the patrons smell like. Any other time I've come we've never been turned away or the smell of us has never been an issue. Tend your bar and don't worry about the other things that don't involve you. THERE WERE NO COMPLAINTS EXCEPT FOR YOURS. THE OTHER PATRONS DIDN'T SEEM TO HAVE AN ISSUE IT WAS JUST YOU. So today I took the time to verbally give you a 5 stars on the food, and 1 star for the discriminating service. read more

Points East was recommended by a coworker so we decided to drive from Muskego, pick up our daughter at UWM and check this place out for lunch last Saturday. We got there 20 minutes after they opened at noon. We couldn't believe that the bar seating was full and the tables were maybe 1/4 full. We soon found out why!!! The wings are beyond amazing!!! We used to go to Quaker Steak, but now this is our go to wing stop!!! I read that they are first deep fried, then sauced and then grilled. I thought it was a dry rub since there was not much mess on our fingers like a bbq sauce. The heat was just right! And I was surprised to find out that they deep fried them first. I thought that they were just grilled. The wings were not fatty at all!!! My daughter never would eat bone in wings until now. Even she said they were amazing!!! Keep up the great work, and we will be there for lunch tomorrow!!! read more

Best wings I have ever eaten!!!!!! Way to go Milwaukee :-)

Best wings in town, hands down! Don't go anywhere else, you'll waste your time. Great wings, dry fried, sauced and then char'd. Anywhere else is disappointing, went 2 -3 times a month read more

Hands down the BEST WINGS in MKE, and the best STAFF! Well worth the wait. Whenever anyone comes to town, I always take them to Points East. I can't say enough good things about the place. I know of two former vegetarians who started eating meat again, thanks to Points East Wings. read more

Great wings that I highly recommend trying if you're in Milwaukee.

Hands down, best wings I've ever had. Initially, (in the age of BWWings) I was surprised when they only had one type of wings. You can only order "Hot wings." Thats it. While nervous, after the first wing, I understood. Who needs to offer 25 different sauce options when you've created the best wing recipe around?! I don't know if it's the dry rub, the spices, the fact that the wings are grilled, or the brilliant, mouth-watering combination, but our minds were blown. While their food menu is pretty small, they have a great craft beer selection (one of the best for an establishment that also serves food), sweet potato waffle fries, and outstanding wings (really, what else do you need?). We go back regularly and have been impressed every time. Note: This is a sports bar, so as you would expect, things can get loud and crowded on game days. Plan accordingly. read more

Points East was highly recommended by family and friends so I gave it a try. It's a nice little corner bar and has the best wings I've had in a long time. read more

the no carry out rule stupid...i didnt even make it past the front door...big sign saying no carryouts/to go orders...i dont care how supposedly good their wings are...no place is going to force me to gorge or waste food I paid for with my hard earned money...there are so many other wings places in the city that is more than willing to provide accommodating service, in exchange for your business. this place will never get a dime from me... read more

good wings but not the best in milwaukee - have had better in milwaukee - riverfront pizzeria and elsa's and brown deer lanes (yea a bowling alley)- read more

Ate here the other night and I'm sorry I couldn't give this place a 5 star rating. The reason for the 3 was due to the very unsanitary conditions that are used when preparing the food. My husband and I got to the pub early and we were able to sit at the bar. The pub wasn't very crowded and the bartender got to use quickly. Really liked the bartender, she was very friendly and quite helpful. She was the only one working at the time which meant she was the bartender, waitress and cook. The food is good and the beer is cold. But the thing that hasme very concerned is the preparation of the food. As I explained, the bartender the day we were there was doing the job of three people. Meaning she was handling all the money, credit cards, dirty dishes and dirty glasses. After handling all these items, she the proceeded to handle all the chicken wings and other food, WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. Even after handling the food, she never washed her hands. The amount of germs that are transmitted from just the money she was handling is mind boggling. Someone needs to explain to the people who are working in this pub the proper procedures to take before preparing food. eat at a Subway someday and you will note the correct procedures for preparing food. Unless this pub makes changes as to how the food is prepared, we won't be eating here again. read more
