Don't judge their appearance, the way we did. If you are into textures, you will love them. They are crispy on the outside and super soft and mushy inside, with great flavor! I tried the Dolce De Leche Latte with macadamia milk and it was so yummy, if you don't like it too sweet. Overall, a great breakfast spot. Dislikes: having to walk all the way around the enter. Very smart business model. Customer places order when walking in and then chooses their own seating with a number for the table. There was confusion, however, because it was unclear that customer has to order first. A simple 'order here' sign would solve that problem. Food was excellent with first quality ingredients and innovative dishes. I ordered a delicious 'omelet a la greque' with fresh feta, dill, and sautéed mushrooms. First time visiting for my friend and I. Didn't realize we must order at the counter. The cashier was absolutely of no help and seemed annoyed at the fact that we didn't know what to order. I believe her name is Oni?. Not sure how to spell that. All other employees we encountered were wonderful. One young man always made sure we had fresh coffee and the young girl that brought us our meal was very kind and helpful. The food was delicious. The food was delicious and savory. We have the avocado toast. It was very light and filling. You can modify your orders as well which we appreciate as Weight Watcher participants. This restaurant just recently opened up within walking distance from my home. Excited, I visited yesterday with my daughter during the downpour. We waiting for only a few minutes and asked to be seated at counter. When you walk in, you are directed to the cashier area to place your order then you sit down and wait. The restaurant floors and counter had an egg smell which makes me nauseous, maybe because of all the rain? Nonetheless, clean with dissenfected rags/mops maybe add bleach. The smell will go away. The restaurant is nice looking, great setup for a small/long space. Now, let's talk about the food. My daughter ordered regular pancakes and a hot chocolate. The pancakes had no taste, no matter how much syrup she put on them. How do you mess up pancakes? We returned them and the lady at the counter just took them and said nothing when it was obvious she only took a few bites. I had to actually say to the lady, please ask your manager to refund the pancakes. By the way for two meals with coffee it was almost $70.00. So, this place is not cheap! I ordered the chile verde eggs benedict with hash browns. The chile verde was cold upon arrival but the taste was good. I suspect the benedictd were waiting for the hashbrowns then got cold. I considered returning them but didn't want to wait for a new batch. Now, the hash browns... yuck, they tasted like old oil. How are you cooking these? They tasted horrible, I put tons of ketchup and that still didn't help. I might come back to taste more of their menu but for now I was disappointed. We wanted to move seats because our table was right where the wind was blowing through the open door and she said she already assigned the seats even though it's just numbers at empty tables. We got moved only because there was an empty space at the bar stools but if not we were basically going to have to be forced to sit somewhere we weren't comfortable. I asked for a refill of my decaf coffee and discovered they don't give refills of decaf!! They only give refills of regular. I've been wanting to try this place since they've opened and had a chance to order pick up today. Unfortunately there were problems with my online order and they never received it. When I arrived I found out it did not go through but the staff were so helpful. They immediately apologized and accepted my take out order even though they had closed by this point. They took really good care of me and I was so grateful they went above the expected to help me when they really did not have to. I ordered the chili verde Benedict and it was amazing! Amazing, the quality and taste is one of my best experiences in a long time. When we entered the place, we were a little caught off guard with how loud the inside of the restaurant was, but fortunately we found seating outside since we had our baby with us. Originally, I would have given this place 4 stars but I do have to knock two for a bit of inconvenience. When I approached a server to ask if they had a baby changing station, I was informed they didn't. This won't apply to everyone, and I understand that, but as someone who goes out to eat with family and my baby, I did find this to be inconvenient. I don't know if places like this are suppose to have baby changing stations by law but we felt surprised they lacked a baby changing station, especially since this place is so new. Hoping for this addition in the future, because we would love to try this place again without worrying where we are going to change our baby. read more
