I love pluckers so much. The only thing I would say is that sometimes when you ask for extra wet for a sauce or extra seasoning for the dry rub you don't always get it. I didn't get any pictures but we order holy Mac, my fav...wings all flats. Well done extra seasoning and extra wet with a half cheese fry. Finished off with dried Oreos. The drinks were hitting too. Went on Saturday night and didn't take long to be seated BUT we waited over an HOUR for our food it was only two of us and we order a 15 piece wing combo. They did give us a 20 gift card and apologized and said that our order got lost which is understandable. My problem is why did it take an hour for our server to say something and check with the kitchen about our food. read more

A true Texas staple hailing from the states capital. This is my favorite location to go to , not only is it closer to me but there is so much to do around after they close. Cant go wrong with some loaded nachos , holy mac, batman and the wings. No matter the location the food will always be good. Parking does seem to be a bit of an issue since not only does it get really packed inside but the surrounding areas do get a lot of customers as well. read more

We stopped in at Pluckers after a long day of moving - hungry and hoping for a few beers. We stayed around for Trivia night. Our first server was amazing albeit a little slow. Our 2nd server was incredibly slow. She announced that we "had to order food if we wanted more drinks". We complied without complaint, but were confused. Those drinks didn't arrive for a long period of time. The server then announced that we couldn't have more drinks due to a "bar rule". That "rule" isn't posted / explained. The terms of the "rule" were very ambiguous when I questioned it. I would admit if we were being rude, loud or unruly in any way - but we definitely were not. It was incredibly disappointing and bordered on a scam when they forced us to order more food but still failed to serve us the drinks we ordered. Overall a horrendous experience. The salad was tasty and filling, however my chicken had numerous bits of cartilage and the texture made me slightly lose my appetite. My friend's wings were really salty and uneven, as if only certain wings got the seasoning and it was not mixed well. However my drink was probably the worst part, i ordered an old fashioned, however it was so poorly made, extremely oversweetened and watered down, and the glass was cracked too! Not sure why the service as pluckers has been horrible lately. I will turn down going to pluckers just due to the service, it really sucks since the food is really good. Kayla is the best server! They're really fast and considerate. I've been coming here since high school, so I'm a little biased. I love coming for beer and sports. I made an online order at Pluckers in Addison. The order was paid and was confirmed for pick up at 5:57PM. Due to Super Bowl traffic in the parking lot, I was able to checkin at 6:03PM. An employee was outside of the front door of the restaurant checking in all of the to go orders. I was instructed to wait outside of the restaurant on the side walk and I would be notified when my order was ready via Text. All to go orders waited on the outside of patio area until they were notified. Once notified, the were allowed to wait for their orders inside the patio area. After over 30 Minutes, I checked back in and was told there were two orders ahead of me. Over the next 20 minutes I checked back in with the employee several times, given the same information until I asked if there was someone I could speak regarding my order. Finally, a manager met me on the sidewalk outside of the restaurant (because we were not even aloud to wait inside). She asked what name the order was under. She went inside and a few minutes later she said the order was not in the system and she questioned if I made my order at the Addison location. I was able to produce confirmation and she said she would check on my order. She left and came back to inform me my order wasn't in the system but she would have it made for me in 10 minutes. She brought my order at 712PM and apologized for my wait and wanted me to verify that the order I made was for today's date (insinuating it was somehow my fault). She never asked me to come inside while I waited, never offered me anything to drink while I waited, never offered to comp my meal, give me a gift card or even take the time to try a calm me down. She never took responsibility for the problem and only gave an explanation that there must have been an "I.T. issue" and she has opened a ticket. Customer service at Pluckers in Addison is terrible. The manager did not take ownership of the problem and did not provide me a SINGLE REASON why I should ever revisit this restaurant. read more
