Good Thai food in South Jersey! Was craving soup and rice for dinner and found this hidden restaurant. My husband ordered their crazy noodles (drunken noodles) and I ordered the crazy rice and their Tom Yum soup. The food was good and flavorful and price point was not too bad either. They give huge servings and I was able to have my leftover for lunch the next day. This will be our new go to for Thai every time we are around. read more

I'm so happy that I found this place close to my house. I used to go to Bhan Thai in mount laurel bit far from where I live. This place do care of customers. I was amazed by their freshness. Finally a good Thai place around this area! I used to live in an area filled with many Asian food options until I moved down to South Jersey...where it is limited. The restaurant isn't too far from me so it was nice and easy to get to. It's located in a strip plaza with a good amount of parking spots. The restaurant itself is on a smaller size but I think most people do get take outs anyway. The owners are super friendly and nice that they make you feel comfortable and at home in a way. I've only been to the restaurant like twice before and they remembered my order from the previous time (the few times I've visited had a great gap in between). When I first dined there with my husband, we had the chicken satay, crazy noodles and chicken pad see ew, which were both good and came with a decent amount of veggies! Along with it, of course we had to get the Thai iced tea! Or else our meal wouldn't be completed. The last time I was there, we both ordered the chicken pad Thai. I normally don't order the Pad Thai when I go to Thai restaurants but I feel like since I haven't tried it yet, I should, and that was a great choice I've made. The portion was generous and I couldn't finished it so I packed it home. I think I definitely found a new favorite but since they have so many things on the menu, I'm sure I'll go back to try the other food items as well! read more

I came in shortly after opening time on Sunday. There was no one in there yet, and although the tables were nicely set the "Open" sign was not lit. I was afraid I might have come too early, but the the door was not locked so in I came. The door tinkled a lovely, magical tune as I pushed it, so I knew someone would know I was here. Someone did. A lady came from the back of the kitchen to attend to me. I told her I wanted the green curry. She told me she couldn't open the till and held up five fingers, asking me if I could wait. I agreed, and she was on her cell phone in a flash. As she was speaking, the door opened again and a couple came in and another couple right after that. I went and sat down, and soon after another lady came in. I assumed she was the owner, and I think I was right. This all took place within five minutes, so good predicting on her part! We have loved Ploy Siam even before they relocated to West Hampton and have patronized this restaurant in their new location many times. They were not seating customers during Covid and well after restrictions were lifted, although they have accommodated me with colleagues several times since I work in the area. I have been a loyal customer for many years. Tonight is Valentines Day. I called around 5pm to ask if they were open for dining and the owner stated they were and made a reservation for me at 7pm. We arrived promptly at 7pm to the restaurant filled with at least a dozen people waiting for take out and both the owner and the cook frantically cooking take out food. Customers standing around stated they had been waiting up to an hour for their take out. All the tables were pushed against the wall with garbage on one of them, no table clothes and no servers in the restaurant. Another couple was also there with a reservation. I waved the owner to the register area from the kitchen and informed her I just called 2 hours ago and asked if they were open for dining reservations and she booked me a 7pm reservation for 4 people, but the dining area does not appear open. She stated...yes...I called you and cancelled. I informed her she did not call me and pointed out the other couple also there with a 7pm reservation. Her response was they are busy with take out orders. I informed her we drove 30 minutes and it's Valentine's Day and there was not much of a response. We left with our two children along with the other couple who also had a reservation. You don't book a reservation on Valentine's Day when you obviously can't accommodate reservations and are not even set up to seat and serve your customers. I'm writing this review after a 30 minute drive home while sitting in a booth at a loc diner with my husband and children. Never Again! read more

Always good food and friendly service. The dining room is open again but the ambiance is missing. It was so quaint and cozy before Covid. Now there's only about 3 small tables inside if she choose to dine in. So, it's just a take out place for us. The prices have gone up but thankfully the tasty food makes it still worth the trip. read more

Friendly Owner (couple). Family owned and run business. Easy ordering option online and over phone, or walk in. There is a long wait for food if they're busy because they make the food from scratch so it's fresh and hot! Their food never disappoints (so far). Pad See Ew (beef) is yummy and my go to soup to make me feel better on cold days, Spicy Tom Yum soup (shrimp or chicken). Family likes pad thai. I like their Thai curries. It's a little confusing at times because they have diff names but nearly taste the same. We love the fried rice with crab meat! A couple of things I'd like to see them improve is the menu. Excellent, authentic Thai food. Had the fish cakes, papaya salad, tom yum soup, shrimp pad thai, shrimp fried rice and M1 Pad Kra Pow with seafood, and everything was delightful! Very earnest Thai owners who clearly care about the food and take pride in preparing it. Be forewarned about the spiciness of the dishes. "Mild" is actually quite spicy. I would suggest telling them what your tolerance for spiciness is so they can help you decide how best to prepare your food. We will be back! read more

Pro: Pretty good food and GREAT SERVICE! Ploy Siam has gone under some notable changes since its previous iteration of an Asian restaurant whose name is now a non-factor. Both the interior ambiance and the menu are worthy of your consideration. I was greeted by a lovely lady ( the owner, I assume?!?) who was friendly and informational from start to finish. She offered a complimentary Thai tea as I waited for me order, and was nice enough to ask what level of spice I preferred. (For me, that's a big deal!) I enjoyed the seafood pad se ew (which surprisingly was punctuated in flavor by the added broccoli) and the papaya salad quite a bit. These will likely be ordered again. If one could taste joy, you would certainly taste it here. This charming restaurant housed in a humble strip mall serves up some of the best Thai food I've ever had. The peanut sauce for the satay was delicate but flavorful. The crazy noodles (with shrimp) were crazy delicious. The pineapple fried rice (with beef) was mildly seasoned, pleasing, and plentiful. The yellow curry (with chicken at a 2 on the spiciness scale) had a rich favor and a bit of a kick. Despite being a crew of hungry individuals, there was enough food to take something home which will be a pleasant treat tomorrow. Even though we were all very full, we indulged in mango sticky rice for dessert. It was well worth it. The mango was ripe, sweet, and delicious and the purple rice was warm and satisfying. The sweet and salty coconut milk offset both flavors perfectly. Both the wait and kitchen staff were charming! Not only did they seem to enjoy one another's company, they appeared to take both pride and pleasure in their work. Would that we lived closer so that we could return more frequently! By far my favorite thai place in the area. Also, almost equally as important with how delicious everything was, is that their 5 spice level is no joke. The owner is absolutely lovely, very friendly and greeted every single person who came in, served everyone with a smile and seemed to know many people. Very welcoming. I had the Yellow Curry and chicken, I liked the add ins of pineapple, tomatoe and peppers, as you can see in my photo I ate the entire thing. Hidden gem for delicious and beautifully prepared Thai food in an unassuming strip center in Mt. Holly. The friendly hostess/waitress was really working extra on a busy Valentine's Day at 6:00. We shared the Thai dumplings and the Tom Kha soup to start. The dumplings were light and the soup super flavorful. I don't know how many times I can say delicious because our entrees were excellent too. We asked for medium spicy heat level and that was just the right amount of sizzle on my tongue. We enjoyed a delicious Thai feast for under $50. I wish I had taken pictures because the playing was pretty too. Two appetizers and two entrees and we took home lots of leftovers. We love when we can find a wonderful family business. They could have used one more server on this busy night but luckily we weren't in any hurry. read more

I have loved Ploy Siam since they were in their Robbinsville location ( I even had my sweet 16 dinner there) and since they have moved to Westampton they are still elite. The food is beyond amazing and I have tried pretty much everything on the menu. My favorites are the crazy noodle, pad basil, red curry, and the Thai iced tea. If you are sensitive to spice just let them know when you place your order and they will adjust. The owner and the staff are so friendly and accommodating.
