A Thai restaurant in the small downtown are of Lumberton that also is a deli? Hey, why not give it a try. BK Brunch is super clean, spotless. There are 2 or 3 tables on the inside and some seating on the outside. The staff was very friendly, helpful and with typical Thai sincere politeness. They seemed to be doing fairly well at lunch but mostly take away. We were the only two people dining in. We ordered three dishes for two people. Delight Soup - This was very good to excellent with a nice roasted garlic flavor. BK Sampler - 2 chicken satay, 2 Thai steamed dumplings, 2 golden sacks, 2 veggies spring roll and 2 fried veggies dumpling. This was also very good and although some items were fried, they were light and not greasy. Pad Thai with Chicken - We always order Pad Thai as everyone makes it different. BK's was good but not the best we have has around South Jersey, but still good. We would definitely return here and try out some other items on the menu. read more

This place is close to me so I decided to try it out for lunch. Usually if a place has a menu that's all over the place then that's a good sign that the food is not good. Like the name says "Not Just Subs". I ordered the Spicy Basil Fried Rice and it tasted like someone just threw rice, basil, red peppers and chicken in a pot and cooked it then threw it in a container. It had no taste. Thai is one of my favorite foods and I consider myself an expert in spicy basil fried rice. I even make it at home sometime. You don't want to order it from here. I tried this restaurant yesterday and overall not terrible. The food is hit or miss. I had drunken noodles with chicken which was flavorful and pretty good. Also had basil fried rice with chicken which was really good , I had the ginger lover with beef which was a true disappointment, beef was tough and portion was small for $16.99. Flavor wasn't bad but the meat was super tough ! I also had the spring rolls , they were just okay. And the crispy fried tofu which I didn't like at all. Had a very bitter taste and off flavor. The tofu taste was off ! Not a good dish. And the chicken wings are not good. Dry and hard. And lacking in real flavor. So overall not bad but not sure I'd order from here again. I have a really good Thai place near by. So not worth the money for me. I don't mind paying when it's good. But this is sub par. Honor miss on some dishes. read more

My friends at work, and I are always looking for good places that can deliver for an early lunch, and I came across this place today for the first time. When I saw that there was Thai food, I was cautiously optimistic. I got the lunch special which is really well priced and I got the Tom Yum soup, Crab Rangoon, and chicken Pad Thai. The Tom Yum was very flavorful, with fresh mushrooms and small shrimp. It was a bit too spicy for me, but I'm sure most people would love it because I'm a wimp when it comes to spice. The pad Thai was Above average, and I get the sense that if I would eat it there or earlier, it would've been even better. The food here is excellent. My vegetarian basil rice had bright, green, broccoli, and other colorful vegetables. Tasty. The Kor Moo Yang bbq pork is crazy good. Try the sour apple soda. Helpful and friendly staff. Even take out customers are in a good mood. Must be the boba tea. Nice young vibe. A lounge version of Radiohead's Creep is playing quietly in the background. Great little hidden gem Thai restaurant. The food feels quite authentic, and the owners/operators are very friendly and accommodating. I can't speak for the deli as I don't eat that type of food, but the Thai dishes were delicious, and my family and I were able to sit down inside and have a wonderful meal together. The best Thai food I have had in a very long time, especially in the last for years when we relocated from NY. Not your typical "restaurant" but that's a feature, not a bug. Super clean, super friendly, super reasonable and super delicious. It hit will the high marks. Not fancy, I think we'll mostly take it from here but they were very welcoming and encouraged us to stay if we were inclined to dine there. My husband and I stumbled upon this place yesterday and it's one of the best thai food we have ever had. I had the panang curry; the spice was just right, the curry was nice and thick not clumpy or curdled. My husband had the drunken noodles and he loved it. The sticky rice and mango were also great. Saw some posts on Facebook so we thought we'd try it out. My wife loves Thai food and was surprised they offered drunken noodles as a standard menu item. It did not disappoint. We ordered 2 drunken noodles (spicy), a cheesesteak and a chicken cutlet sandwich for takeout. It was all delicious. They use really good rolls for the sandwiches and the noodles were perfect. I ordered the yellow curry with tofu and veggies while my husband ordered the red curry with chicken and a side of their chicken curry puffs. The chicken curry puffs were absolutely delicious! Like having a crunchy but soft pastry filled with flavor and spices that melts in your mouth! The curry was outstanding! The perfect amount of flavor and ingredients. The meals come with white rice so you'll def be satisfied. It's now our go to place for delicious Thai food. Their menu is surprisingly varied as they also serve breakfast and other type sandwiches however we we have only had their Thai meals. The coconut cream shined through and the curry paste must have been the chef's red curry paste recipe because it did not seem store bought. I look for a sweet hot contrast that resonates after the bite and I got it. The chicken was delicious and smartly thin which allowed the flavors to diffuse. This is a terrific place. I have had the Italian sub twice and a meatball sub. Both were very good, especially the meatballs. Today they let me have a sample of their ribs and wow, they are tender and moist with a great flavor. I will definitely order those in the future. The staff is very friendly and the prices are good.
