Really nice owner/employees. They were very nice and greeted us as soon as we entered. We ordered some curry, shumai, and pad Thai. I was undecided so one of them recommended the beef soup because it was a popular dish. It did not disappoint, plenty of beef in it, noodles, a little big of vegetables, the broth was really good. Especially right now with the weather being so cold. Warmed me right up! We did do take out as there was a brewery nearby having a grand re-opening event so I can't comment much about the dining in experience. Ordered take out from Thai Ginger. Delivery was quick and the food arrived hot and tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers. The spicy garlic soy sauce for the chive dumplings was a great compliment to the taste. The spring rolls paired nicely with a slightly spicy plum sauce. The Panang Curry dish with coconut milk, jumbo shrimp, chicken,carrots and green beans was cooked well with just the right amount of spice. We ordered a two star spice level. I was so excited to try their food, since I love the cuisine. I was disappointed. I ordered Lemongrass Pork ribs, Drunken noodles with tofu and veggies, pad Thai with chicken, and Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango, my favorite Asian dessert. The pork had decent flavor, but was very dry. The hint of citrus that lemongrass has was absent. The pad Thai lacked lime and the added chicken was DRY. The whole dish lacked punch and distinction. The drunken noodles had a good texture, but the dish was somewhat salty, and the vegetables were barely there, taste or crunch-wise. The sticky rice and mango were just fair. The mango was fresh and sweet, but the rice was more chewy than sticky. Dunking pieces of it in the coconut milk and wrapping it in mango was tasty. Prices were reasonable, but if I can't revive the pork somehow, we will not save the leftovers for another meal. So sad. One and done. read more

We ordered: Shrimp Tom yum soup (8.5) - didn't expect much from this Tom yum soup from just looks but packed a ton of flavor! Comes with mushrooms and just soup, recommend ordering a side of noodles. a pad kee mao (8) - the drunken noodles were a bit bland. I would call them tipsy noodles. They're more soy sauce based instead of bold and flavored. You can request a hot sauce which makes it better to eat. pad Thai (8) - on the sweeter side, add the same hot sauce and red pepper that is requested. papaya salad (8.75) - great amount of food, pretty tart flavor. Just a little bit of kick. Also great as an appetizer Tom kha soup (9) - definitely the star of the show. Amazing flavor, great creaminess that comes from the coconut. Blazing hot. Definitely a must try from this restaurant. Overall, the service is was extremely quick and receptive. The vibes of the restaurant were pretty chill, great for a date night or to spend with family. The worst Pad Thai I've ever had. The sauce tasted like ketchup and nothing like typical pad thai. We also got the chive veggies dumpling and they were greasy and mushy in the inside. I will never order from here again. Such a waste of $$ and a huge disappointment. You've been warned. read more

I got a red noodle curry lunch special and it was SO GOOD. The lunch special comes with spring rolls and edamame and it was a very filling portion of curry. I was in the mood for Thai food. I didn't know what to expect. The place was very clean. Pun, the waiter, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He recommended the dishes and was honest about the portion. I've eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants including Thailand. I would say food was good. The portion was very reasonable. The restaurant has a warm and cozy atmosphere. If you like spicy, you will love Thai Ginger. However they will adjust food to your preferences. If you are vegetarian they also have lists of vegetarian choices. My friends and I enjoyed everything we ordered. We ordered Salmon ginger teriyaki and they served up a large portion surrounded by stir fried vegetables. My friend loved it. We also got a thumbs up on the vegetable Pad Thai. Another great entree we ordered was spicy ginger beef. My friend said it was just right and was delicious. The mango salad was another great choice. My cousin chose red curry with tofu and vegetables and said it was fantastic. For appetisers we ordered chive vegetable dumplings which I highly recommend. We also had spring rolls and an order of tofu triangle. All were amazing. Everyone who served us was super friendly. All of us left saying we would be back. Give this place a try. You will love it. I ordered the Duck Ginger Fried Rice and my husband ordered the Chicken Pad Thai. We ordered take out 30 mins from closing and I was a little nervous that they would be upset... but they were gracious and made our order before closing up! :) My husband loved their pad Thai! I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of duck they put in the fried rice! And the ginger gave it a little extra kick! The duck was perfectly to my liking. I went in there with my mom for the first time. The food was really good. The service was good, no complaints. It's BYOB. The decor is bland to be honest with you. It's white all over the place.
