STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! IT HAS MICE! I was at this restaurant for dinner on Saturday evening and I was the ONLY table at the restaurant. There were no other customers from 630-830PM and with good reason. First, this restaurant needs a serious make-over and cleaning up. The ceiling titles have water stains, the wood paneling is old and worn, there is a refrigerator in the dinning area that is so loud, you need to speak over it, and they have dinning supplies stacked on tables in the dinning room. I ordered veggie dumplings which were overly "chewy". I ordered tofu and veggies for dinner with the sauce on the side (sweet & sour) and the sauce was so sweet, I could not use it. The side rice dish was overcooked. The worst part about this place - after I finished eating and was still sitting at the table, A MOUSE RAN ACROSS THE DINNING ROOM! THIS IS NO LIE! I told the gentlemen working at the counter and he just walked around. I immediately paid my bill (yes they still charged me) and as I was leaving, I saw the mouse again run behind the tall green potted plant near the front door. read more

Food is delicious! Koa Nam salad with tofu - soooo good. We drive all the way from Mount Holly past numerous Thai restaurants to go here. Service is great and friendly. They could fix the noisy refrigerator, have some updated music and could use a little interior update, so don't expect superior atmosphere. But all else is awesome. read more

My wife and I just had the best Thai food we've had in a long time in this small casual restaurant. Started with two appetizers. The Thai Crepe was a thin egg crepe, lightly crisp with incredibly seasoned veggies and tofu with a pickled diced radish and carrot. The flavors and textures were perfect together. The veggie dumplings looked like little flowers. The dough was thin and light, seasoned perfectly. That's a running theme here--perfect aromatic seasoning. Entrees were equally delicious. Massaman curry with shrimp. Veggies saturated in the sauce with a generous portion of shrimp. It had just a hint of hot to blend exactly right with the sweetness. So good. Veggie tofu pad Thai was great. Noodles had the perfect bite and, once again, seasoned beautifully. We also got a pot of green tea which complemented the meal perfectly. Joe, our server, was super attentive and friendly and kept our pot filled. His wife was doing the cooking--and what a great cook she is! Got dessert to go: mango sticky rice. I spent three hours this day trying to narrow down what I wanted for dinner and where. So I drove to a Vietnamese restaurant in this little shopping center that I like... I only sat in the car about five minutes before getting out. But I kept seeing person after person going in and out of A Little Thai Kitchen. Well, the curiosity got the best of me and I strolled in. This was a great decision. Surprisingly, there were only a few tables with people eating. The waiter (possibly the cook also) was very pleasant and patient with me not having made a decision yet. I eventually wound up with steamed dumplings for an appetizer, Tom Yum soup, and drunken noodles for my entree. 10/10 and probably my favorite Thai restaurant in this SJ area. My bf and I ordered food to go and were not disappointed at all. We kept talking about how good our food was the very next day and can't wait to come back. Appetizers we ordered kanom jeeb and they were flavorful steamed dumplings that were thick, juicy and very tasty. Entrees we ordered chicken pad Thai and the chicken green curry. We both couldn't decide which entree we liked more. Both extremely delicious and different. The curry had a nice kick to it and wasn't thick at all compared to Japanese style curry. Jam packed with endless vegetables and chicken. Both dishes were fragrant and perfection. I would highly recommend all 3 dishes we ordered! The restaurant is very clean inside and they have a nice take out process. By the front door, they neatly laid out the utensils, napkins and various sauces to take (which usually cost extra). Tried take out from this place last night. We ordered quite a few things on the menu because we love Thai food and wanted to see what this place was working with. We ordered the Bean Curd Satay ,Thai House Salad, Vegetable (Tom Kha) Coconut Soup, Mango Sticky Rice, Pad Wun Sen, Angel Shrimp, and Salmon. I liked the style of the menu, it was laid out nicely and clear to read. Also loved that they have a website as many don't and it's annoying to have to look at cropped pictures of menus to figure out if you want to try the place. That being said the prices were also very reasonable compared to other places. My husband said the customer service was ok as well. Now on to the food and flavors. The Angel Shrimp were fresh and tasty. The Bean Curd Satay was a bit dry and spongy and it didn't come with enough Peanut Sauce. The little sauce it did come with along with the smidge of Cucumber Salad was good. The Thai House Salad unfortunately wasn't good. It was fresh but wasn't drained properly leaving entirely too much water in the container which watered down the dressing that there wasn't even enough of to begin with. That made the salad ultimately flavorless. I shared the salad with my husband and there was also too many lettuce cores left in it which is careless as that part should be discarded. The salad was a huge disappointment. Moving on to the Tom Kha Soup it wasn't the best I've had but it was tasty enough to get again. The Mango Sticky Rice was also good but they were extremely stingy on the rice portion it was really small like maybe 3-4 tablespoons of sticky rice for a nice sized half of mango. Initially I thought there was no sticky rice because you could hardly see it. Then I noticed a smidge sticking out on the side. It was hidden smashed completely flat under the mango in a thin layer instead of next to it sitting fluffy like I normally receive it from other establishments. That was also really disappointing. The Pad wun sen tasted ok but it was very dry. The salmon dish was also ok via its flavor from the sauce but the salmon was also over cooked and fried a bit too hard. Ultimately the food isn't the worst Thai food that I've had but it's definitely far from the best. I'm unsure at this point if I would go back and try this place again. read more

OMG - I had never had (chicken) Drunken Noodles before today. Wow, what I've been missing! I love carbs - pasta, noodles, rice, etc., and these noodles were the "fattest" I'd ever had. They were absolutely delicious in the ??? sauce. The dish also had vegetables (I only picked out the onions) - broccoli, string beans, and carrots (cut in crinkles - cute). The chicken was plentiful. Was too hungry to take more photos, but started with the Chicken Curry Puffs (such a delicious crunch over the tasty filling). Had the Thai Iced Coffee and a level four spiced, Chicken Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle). Boyfriend had the Shrimp Panang Curry with rice, smelled fantastic (all the food smelled amazing). We've been to A Little Thai Kitchen now a few times and this is some of the best Thai food I've had on the east coast!!! We've tried many dishes so far, and here are my reviews: Pad See Ew: Really really good! I got this with tofu & veggies, and requested no egg. The tofu was cooked perfectly. I loved the wide flat noodles and the savory soy sauce. I didn't love the massive carrots so I'll ask for those to be left out next time. I will definitely be ordering this again! It's also big enough to be 2 meals. Drunken Noodles: Delicious drunken noodles with the right chili flavor. They use the wide flat noodles which I love. I got this with a spice level 3/5 and it was definitely hot!! I think a 2 would be perfect next time. Spring Rolls: YUM! Crunchy, filled with veggies, with a side of sweet chili sauce. These are really big but I could easy eat them all by myself haha. Golden Triangle: This is fried crispy bean curd which is basically tofu. The breading was awesome and super crunchy, and the peanut sauce that came with it definitely made it. I would get these again! Corn Cakes: One of the crowd favorites! They were crispy and chewy at the same time, and a little sweet and savory. I always have a hard time sharing these. Tofu Satay: I've never had tofu statay before but was slightly disappointed with these, though I'm not really sure what I expected. These didn't have much flavor but the peanut sauce saved the day. Not sure I would get these again. Vegetarian Dumplings: Not what we expected. These were filled with a bunch of veggies and served with a dark soy sauce. They were just okay, not sure they were worth it. I would rather have fried gyoza type dumplings. Massaman Curry: 10/10!!!!!!! I think this is the best curry I've ever had in my LIFE. It's similar to Penang but is extra peanutty with actual peanuts & cashews in it, which adds a nice little crunch. The flavor is absolutely fantastic, there are a ton of veggies, and is so creamy. It's not spicy, so next time I'd request a 1 or 2 spice level. I would highly recommend this dish!!! Order with tofu & veg. It's also huge so it's easily 2 meals. Green Curry: A classic green curry! It's listed as their spiciest curry but I would still request them to turn up the heat next time (maybe try a 3/5). The flavor is awesome and there are a ton of veggies & tofu. I have passed this little strip mall Thai restaurant thousands of times but never got to go inside. I visited this place during lunch time with my coworkers a few months ago, and boy, was it not worth the hype. Let me tell you one thing. I LOVE THAI FOOD. So, it takes a lot for me to not like something. First off, they were incredibly busy on a weekday at lunch time. Like ridiculously busy. Not only did it take them 10 years for them to take our order, it took them another 10 years to bring our food to us, and then another 10 years to pack up our food, and another 10 years to bring the check, and another 10 years to give us our cards back. We were hoping to be in and out in under an hour, but it took us 1.5 + hours!!! Extremely unacceptable when 90% of your diners (including us) are corporate professionals who have a limited lunch time. I ordered a Thai Iced tea, which was okay. I wasn't a fan, I've definitely had better thai iced teas at other restaurants. Heck, the thai iced I make by myself at home, tasted better. I also ordered a tofu pad thai which was good. The place itself i outdated, the first time I tried this place,I had the shrimp dumplings and beef pad Thai which I would have gave a 1 star. The beef was chewy and tasted very weird. The second time I got the tofu pad Thai and the vegetable spring rolls which were a lot better. My only one complain would be that the pad Thai came with carrots, zucchini, broccoli and edamame which pad Thais don't usually come with and it wasn't listed in the ingredients menu.
