This was my first time here and it made a very strong first impression. It's a great place for a meal that's firmly in between casual and classy. We ordered the Shrimp Dumplings, Tom Yum Soup, Drunken Noodles, and Mixed Seafood Fried Rice. We were pleasantly surprised that everything (except the dumplings) had a good spice to it. Everything we ate was bursting with spice and strong flavors. The best dish we ordered was the Mixed Seafood Fried Rice. That dish had me hooked from the first bite. Our server was worried we couldn't handle the spiciness of that dish, warning us it's pretty spicy and we could ask for it to be reduced. She was right that it was spicy, but we loved it, it only added to the dish. Everything came out promptly, correctly, fresh, and delicious. I was in the mood for some Thai food and I found this restaurant on my Yelp and it came highly reviewed. My Fiancé and I both went and shared an appetizer and entrée and a dessert. When we first walked in, we were immediately greeted and sat, which was great especially on a busy Friday night. The tables were clean. The napkins were folded beautifully, and there was a lot of natural light coming in from the sunset. They provided us with the regular menus as well as the specials, which we were able to look over and definitely wanna come back and try more. The servers were quick to take our order and the food came out hot and fast, which was awesome. The one thing that was sort of frustrating was the lack of checking in from our server or anybody else for that matter. My Fiancé wanted to get a refill on his soda but had to flag someone down just to grab a drink. Stumbled upon this place and just so happened to need to figure out what was for dinner so Thai it was. This restaurant is located in a newer lifestyle center and has lots of parking. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which is nice, but I got my order to go - Chicken Pad Thai and Shrimp Summer Rolls - and when my order was ready one of the employees brought it to me as I was sitting outside on a bench waiting for it to be done (which was so nice). Both of the items were really good - the summer rolls were made fresh and were really stuffed nicely! The pad Thai was my favorite though because it was exactly what you expect in a really good pad Thai and the chicken was soooo tender. This was an interesting experience. The soups and broths were delicious. However, the mussels were frozen and "fishy" didn't eat them. The curry chicken puff again delicious. I'm always looking a good Thai restaurant wherever I go and moving to the Mount Laurel wasn't any different. Came across Bhan Thai (Mt. Laurel) on a Google search with decent reviews so I desired to give it a shot. First impressions were great and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was very calm and relaxing. The center pieces were also very nice and a perfect touch to the atmosphere. The customer service was on point as well. I went during dinner and was seated very quickly as it wasn't too busy. The waitress came by often to check up on me and was very tentative to all the tables in a timely manner as she was the only server from what it looked like. I ended up ordering the fried calamari as an appetizer followed by the pad Thai and Thai Iced Tea. All the food were very good portion and tasted amazing with the right amount of spice. Rice w/ chicken, and man, I was impressed with the drunken noodles. Such an explosive flavor, made me feel like I got it straight from Thailand lol. We ate outside on this gorgeous day because I had my pup with me. Kim had Panchero's and I ate here! I had a really good bowl of spicy shrimp fried rice. Great serving.! Four big and tasty shrimp, very yummy rice and a nice amount of vegetables (that I actually liked) that were cooked perfectly. Came with a small side salad. We got take out on 10/14, three dishes. The drunken noodles were flavorful and tasted good. The leftovers were even eaten up. The other 2 Pad Thai noodle dishes were over cooked. The leftovers were unfortunately thrown away. One was gluten free and we ordered and paid for extra vegetables in one of the Pad Thai and the drunken noodles. Comparing the two dishes, only the drunken noodles seemed to have extra vegetables. I wish I could give more stars. I hope this can be improved for take out or maybe dine in is best. read more

Another great meal! This place doesn't disappoint. This time I had the green curry chicken & jasmine rice. The flavors of the broth were simply delightful & it was the perfect amount of spice (not too hot). My favorite starter is always the vegetable spring rolls which were delicious as usual. Additionally I tried the Thai iced tea for the first time. It was as good as the reviews indicated. However, it is very sweet so I enjoyed it more as a dessert than with my meal. Awesome place! Looking for fried ice cream we found Bhan Thai, we didn't have a meal so I can't comment on the food. But every plate that went by us just looked delicious. We loved everything about it from the ambient, decor, food and service. We had fried vanilla ice and Mango ice cream with coffee and hot Thai Tea. Our server was so sweet she accommodated all of our requests and was very helpful. The ambient is a little loud but it's expected as the place was full. I love panang curry and this hit the spot for my craving. I ordered it with the imitation duck (wanted something out of the beef and chicken), and it was good. My boys ordered the fried rice to share but the rice is on the moist side so they didn't like it. The pad see ew and pad Thai tastes like how it should. We enjoyed the chicken wings as appetizer. [Updating after response from owner] - We have been coming here for a long time and during my last visit I noticed that the fried rice portion for lunch was cut down to less than half for the similar price we used to pay before, for lunch portions. There are other people I come here regularly with and they noted the same thing with their dishes about portion being significantly lower compared to lunch portions before. We know this since we primarily only come here for lunch. The service here was always sub par and have tolerated them charging exorbitant prices for every little side or extra item, but cutting down portions so drastically is a bad look and is only going to drive people away. Instead of figuring out what went wrong and working with the customer, the restaurant has decided to slander the customer who has been loyal to them for years. read more

My brother-in-law and his wife took myself and my wife out to this Thai restaurant. It's a classy little restaurant with black cloth napkins. These places usually do very well at lunch, which is why they probably close for an hour between lunch and dinner service. The food is great. The food is as good as it looks. I always get the Thai Basil. I have actually been there at least 5 times since first going there. I just wish there was a lunch menu They are moving across the shopping center to a larger location. This will definitely help their business. I have never seen them at full capacity. Usually people order takeout but with a larger location people will probably feel more comfortable eating there because it is tight at their current location. read more

I never seem to know where to find good Thai food in South Jersey - turn out there is one nearby! Our group of 3 went during a weekday night - there were plenty of seats but you can visibly see that it's a hot spot for the locals! Appetizer/Entree: - Thai iced tea (taste slightly watered down than some of the Thai iced tea I've had) - Papaya salad (the tofu in the papaya salad was fried so perfectly - I wanted more of it!) - Tom yum soup (not too spicy) - Red curry (very creamy yet not too coconut-y, what a perfect combo) - Pad Thai & Drunken noodles - both are really delicious. If you like peanuts flavor definitely go for pad Thai! Dessert: - Fried ice cream & mango sticky rice are both really good! I rarely ordered desserts in restaurant but they are totally worth it!
