J6. Bean Curd with Garlic Sauce

Food was ok. Portion was small for the price which is $2-3 higher per entree on grubhub. Broccoli was crisp, good amount of sauce and tofu was crispy and chewy.

My burnt egg foo young!! H4. Shrimp Egg Foo Young

EVER SINCE THE NEW OWNERS TOOK OVER ITS NEVER BEEN THE SAME. It's been quite a few years since the takeover. We have gone a handful of times, very mediocre food, dine in essentially take out and eating at one of the tables provided but there is a tip jar at the cashier... Tonight we had take out and I was just disgusted with the food quality and taste. My shrimp foo young was burnt on the bottom, shrimp was very small and dry. The gravy is served atop of the egg foo young which makes for soggy rice and not enough gravy to my taste for the entree. This is the last time we will be going there.. Their bbq ribs are 18.50 for ten ribs. Higher than other take out restaurants. You can get a half rack at a sit down restaurant for that price with sides!! The online menu states 10.25 or 10.50, that's the price for a small order. They do not provide the price for the large so when I saw the bill for the large size I told him that I wanted the small order. His reply was " we already made the large." Just poor quality food, lousy service and prices are higher than other Chinese take out.

    Bland house LoMein

First time ordering. Was excited to go since I've heard good things and because my old favorite place changed hands. The inside of the place was very inviting. Sad to say the Singapore Mei Fun smelled and tasted like an old house closet. Beef and broccoli was bland and so was the house LoMein. Rib tips were dry as a desert and flavorless. Sad to say we won't be going back. Really I actually want my $62 back!

    Lunch special. Chicken and broccoli.

It's ok. Not great, not bad, ok. Lunch special is just the entree and rice. Most places add an egg roll or soup for the same price. Their garlic sauce is a sweetish unspicy yu xiang sauce, of which there is a small contribution. If you like sauce you can see maybe ask for extra. My chicken and broccoli also had carrots. It's not hard: the name of the dishe is chicken and broccoli not chicken and broccoli and carrots. The fried rice is sparsely populated and has very little soy sauce. At least it's not that yellow junk.

    Yuck.

Honestly, it was way too much food for two people, but I wanted to sample everything and I'm glad I did. The seafood was fresh, meaty, and perfectly cooked. Their special sauce was the star of the show rich, garlicky, and at the mild spicy level it had just enough kick to keep every bite exciting without overwhelming the natural sweetness of the seafood. Dipping crab legs into that sauce was pure happiness. The garlic noodles deserve a shoutout too: savory, buttery, and the perfect companion to all the seafood richness. Inside, it's a decent place to meet with friends--spacious, comfortable, and surprisingly you're not walking out smelling like seafood. Service was spot-on, friendly and attentive the whole way through. I enjoyed a cold beer and a mixed drink alongside the meal, and they paired perfectly with all the seafood. Prices aren't bad for what you're getting--seafood is always on the pricier side, but the freshness and portions here make it worthwhile. Definitely a spot I'll be raving about and coming back to again.

Eddie V's Prime Seafood is a great spot that easily carries you from happy hour into a full dinner…read more We stopped in initially for happy hour and ended up staying through the evening. From the outside, Eddie V's already gives off a polished, upscale feel, and once inside, the jazz playing softly in the background immediately set the tone. We grabbed seats at the bar, which I highly recommend. Pro tip: arrive early if you want bar seating, the bartenders are extremely friendly, genuinely engaging, and it is fun to watch them craft the drinks. We took full advantage of the happy hour menu with a dozen oysters, Wagyu beef sliders, a dirty martini, and a glass of Caymus. The happy hour pricing is a solid deal and the food quality was excellent. Another couple joined us, so we moved to a table and continued into dinner. Appetizers included a Caesar salad, burrata and beet salad, and lobster bisque. The burrata and beet salad was bright, fresh, and zesty and really stood out. The lobster bisque was the one miss of the night, served lukewarm with only a small piece of lobster. For mains, we ordered the Chilean sea bass prepared Chinese-style and the A5 Wagyu dumplings. The sea bass was exceptional, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and generously portioned. The wine list is phenomenal with great options by the glass and bottle, and the cocktail program is clearly handled by skilled professionals. This is also a great choice for a romantic night out. The space is dimly lit with unique lighting elements, paired with live jazz that creates a relaxed, intimate atmosphere without feeling stuffy. If you are in the area, this place is absolutely worth a visit, especially during happy hour. We will definitely be back.

This place is FIRE!!!…read more Best oysters I ever had, and they came with a lot of oyster liquor (natural juice that oysters produce, a mix of seawater from their habitat and their own internal fluids such as hemolymph (the invertebrate equivalent of blood) and cellular fluids). The oyster liquor makes it so the oyster remains fresh btw as well which is obviously uber important. We had oysters from Maine, Rhode Island, and Connecticut and all of the ones we chose you could taste the unique differences from one to the next. Crab cakes were on point; the vegetables were next level with the side of asparagus coming with roe on top of it. New England soup was actually light and not heavy like most creamy NE soups which I appreciated as it made me have room for the rest of the meal. We also indulged in some Butterscotch Pudding which in my view had three distinct flavors. The very top tasted similar to sweet creme Brule, the actual pudding was creamy and delish and there was a garnish of whipped cream I believe on top. All items surpassed my expectations and we will definitely be repeat customers. Highly Recommend. As always people SYOY!!!!

I do not eat seafood and was confused by the fishy smell and presence of meat. Luckily it was a simple cross-table mixup. Furthermore, the mushroom gnocchi was horrible.
