Crab cakes had mostly filling and CT not much crab meat. Crab soup was loaded with potatoes and not much seasoning.

People love this place ... I say that because we were there late afternoon during the week and it was busy ... and it kept getting busier. I do understand why folks love it tho, because there's no other real seafood "shack" in the area specifically where folks can get their blue claw crabs. It truly does look and feel like a seafood shack because the wooden walls, brown paper on the table, paper towels on the table and overall decor scream "We are at the beach in a small southern town in the middle of nowhere where" lol Our server was great! She was very attentive and made recommendations... she was also very patient with us given that this was our first time here and we're a bit undecided on what we wanted to order. Now on to the food - this is honestly where I was underwhelmed. The broiled seafood had a whisper of flavor, the crab cake left a lot to be desired and the garlic buffalo shrimp were overwhelmingly buffalo sauce on top of fried shrimp. Now the clam chowder I had was amazing and I even ordered some to go. My friend enjoyed her crab legs meal overall and perhaps if we visit again that's the route I'll go. Oh and it's also a BYOB , so, be sure to grab your favorite bottle and bring it on in.

The sauce was amazing! I love fried mushrooms and not too many restaurants still have them so they were a perfect side for me, the mashed potatoes were good just needed to be added to the butter garlic for an amazing taste. Definitely a must go to restaurant. Seating was kind of tight being directly at the door but all in all an amazing experience

Mostly because theater keeps the creative team so busy that there's never enough time for a sit down meal. Last week we finally had a moment and chose Jules@Market for dinner with a friend. The first thing that caught my eye was the avocado toast appetizer. I'd had lots avocado toast in my day (I am from California, after all), but never with grilled shrimp! So I ordered it as my meal. I figured that it would be enough along with the Cesar salad and haricot verts that we ordered for the table. I was right! Not only was it delicious, but I was satiated. My partner and my friend both ordered dinner meals: the red drum fish and the miso cod. My fork snuck little bites of each. Again, delicious. This restaurant is on the pricey side for the area, but in alignment with the haute cuisine in larger cities at a smaller price point. If you have the budget, it's definitely worth it.

Drift caught our eye and WOW I'm glad it did. With Brunch offerings every Sunday along with live music and endless pastas on Wednesday nights. Drift is raising the bar and is an entire vibe on Mill St. A handful of tables by the bar and a separate dining room or outdoor seating - all unique in their own way and each offer a different feel in the restaurant. Our server was a delight. So excited to tell us all about the place and answer questions along the way. She kept our glasses full all the while tending bar and other tables. The vodka chicken sandwich was well done, tasty and crisp dredged in a thick vodka sauce and adorned with cheese. It did come with tomato but it was a little odd like it just didn't belong. I just added it to my generous side salad (an option instead of fries). This salad was packed full of fresh greens, cukes & tomatoes with a most delightful dressing. His French dip was full of flavor with tender med rare beef delicately sliced thin and high. The au jus that accompanied it was a nice compliment to the sandwich. We sat in a comfy booth with a view of the bar TVs and close enough to enjoy the live musician. A perfect place to grab a quick lunch and we will definitely be back!

Georgines Express is now open directly across the parking lot from the original Georgines location! Same low prices with some changes and menu additions. I've attached the new menu in photos. Items like chicken parm still come with two sides or pasta but there is now a small and a large version. There are fewer side options but my favorites are still on this list! It's no longer cafeteria style, you order on a kiosk but tell your sides to the counter person once you order. I got the small chicken parm. It was still a very nice portion size. Sides came in small containers instead of the sectioned platters previously offered. Rice pudding and their famous cheese dips are available in the refrigerated cases. They still have a beer take out section but have added alcoholic slushies to go! They look yummy! The inside eating area is small. There are some video games and lottery available onsite as well. Unfortunately it is uncomfortably warm inside. I do not recommend eating onsite, I think this is more of a to go kind of location. I felt bad for the employees, I really hope they upgrade their HVAC. It's going to be awful inside during the 100 degree heat wave coming this week and also can't be good for food to sit in the heat. I'm so glad to have this more affordable and to go version of Grorgine's back.

Our party of 4 were "walk ins" since our reservations got messed up elsewhere. We felt fortunate to get a table last minute. We were seated in the front room which was a bit too bright (!!!). It was a large table for four. The room was quiet (other than a noisy kid a few tables over but that was short lived). So many restaurants are too loud and you have to shout to have a conversation therefore we truly appreciated the solitude. The owner, Bruce, came over to greet us. We appreciated his gesture as he obviously cares about his customers. He told us a little bit about the restaurant. We ordered a round of cocktails. The only Rose wine on their wine list had to go back as it had a nasty taste...3 of us agreed on that. It was quickly replaced with white wine. House Scotch was a generous pour and very smooth. Martini also good. I thought prices were reasonable on the alcohol. On to the food. Crab cakes were excellent as Bruce recommended. I enjoyed the fish and chips and our other friend seemed to enjoy the meat loaf. I thought the menu was ideal...sandwiches offered as well as dinners. I believe it is the same menu all day...which I like...sometimes we just want a sandwich for dinner. Our server was very good (thank you Christine). It was all timely and not rushed. Next time we hope to be seated in the room that faces the river. It had better atmosphere and view of the river. Much nicer than the front room. Hubby would like to add King George in our rotation of restaurants. We will definitely be back. I am glad to see that Bristol has improved a lot over the years. The walkway along the river was all lit up and it was such a beautiful night. Lots of people strolling around and others fishing on the dock. I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday. I absolutely loved the experience I had here and will be stopping by again this summer! Thanks, Dog & Bull!
