Crab cakes had mostly filling and CT not much crab meat. Crab soup was loaded with potatoes and not much seasoning.

Did not expect the food to be that good usually have seafood in the Cape May area of New Jersey, but this is an absolute local gem.

This is a BYOB restaurant, where you can bring your own beer and wine. We came in at around two or…read moreso on Sunday and were seated immediately. Our server was great, but I will say that we didn't see her much. Because we had our own drinks, I guess there wasn't a need to check in too much. Food breakdown below: Six blue crabs: BOMB. Well seasoned and dirty. But needed old bay lol. Probs should've asked but it's fine. Cajun shrimp deviled eggs: I would pass on these in the future. The shrimp, themselves, had good flavor. The egg filling was very bland. Mussels: I actually came across a lot of mussels that were empty. That said, the flavor was really good. Buffalo garlic shrimp: these were probably the weakest link. They were basic AF and while it's hard to mess up the flavor of buffalo sauce, you couldn't taste the garlic at all. Additionally, the texture of the coding was off, and the shrimp tasted overcooked. They were served with fries and those weren't very good either. Also, they do not have good ranch, for the record. In all, what I can absolutely tell you is that we will be back. We love crabs and for the amount of crabs and the flavor we got here, we would probably spend far more in a place like Baltimore. In total, I think we spent somewhere between 110 to 120. Not bad.

I'll start off by saying that I truly want to give them a 3 1/2 star review, but since we know that…read morecan't happen I have to go with 3 stars because it wasn't close enough to a 4 star review. People love this place ... I say that because we were there late afternoon during the week and it was busy ... and it kept getting busier. I do understand why folks love it tho, because there's no other real seafood "shack" in the area specifically where folks can get their blue claw crabs. It truly does look and feel like a seafood shack because the wooden walls, brown paper on the table, paper towels on the table and overall decor scream "We are at the beach in a small southern town in the middle of nowhere where" lol Our server was great! She was very attentive and made recommendations... she was also very patient with us given that this was our first time here and we're a bit undecided on what we wanted to order. Now on to the food - this is honestly where I was underwhelmed. The broiled seafood had a whisper of flavor, the crab cake left a lot to be desired and the garlic buffalo shrimp were overwhelmingly buffalo sauce on top of fried shrimp. Now the clam chowder I had was amazing and I even ordered some to go. My friend enjoyed her crab legs meal overall and perhaps if we visit again that's the route I'll go. Oh and it's also a BYOB , so, be sure to grab your favorite bottle and bring it on in.

Mostly because theater keeps the creative team so busy that there's never enough time for a sit down meal. Last week we finally had a moment and chose Jules@Market for dinner with a friend. The first thing that caught my eye was the avocado toast appetizer. I'd had lots avocado toast in my day (I am from California, after all), but never with grilled shrimp! So I ordered it as my meal. I figured that it would be enough along with the Cesar salad and haricot verts that we ordered for the table. I was right! Not only was it delicious, but I was satiated. My partner and my friend both ordered dinner meals: the red drum fish and the miso cod. My fork snuck little bites of each. Again, delicious. This restaurant is on the pricey side for the area, but in alignment with the haute cuisine in larger cities at a smaller price point. If you have the budget, it's definitely worth it.

The size of her place has at least doubled since she opened and the food is still amazing. However, if there is a complaint, it would be that the menu has somewhat fallen into a rut. When Jules first opened the selection of fish changed fairly often, with some "standards" always appearing. The last couple of times we have been here, the standards are now the menu, with not much in the way of Specials. That is really a shame because of the variety of fish that was being served, with some we had never seen before in other restaurants. This is not to say that you shouldn't try the place - it's definitely one to check out but for repeat customers it needs some variety.

Good thing we got there at 11:30 otherwise we would not have gotten our great table on the lower deck, undercover next to the water. Our server Kim was right on. Quickly brought drinks, and everything was timely and friendly. Lots of good choices on the menu...changed my mind at least 10 times. Ended up with the fish and chips. Generous amount of fries and 4 nice size pieces of breaded cod. It was the right choice. It was very good, not the best I have ever had but still very good. The others had a variety of things...chicken salad sandwich which was a great choice, hot dog, pulled pork, chicken sandwich, and buffalo chicken wrap. Surprisingly the sandwiches did not come with a side or even a pickle. That was disappointing for the price. This was my first time here and I enjoyed it! Closes for the winter on Labor Day. I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday. I absolutely loved the experience I had here and will be stopping by again this summer! Thanks, Dog & Bull!
