The pork in my lo mein and fried rice was awful! It smelled rancid, like old meat way past its edible stage. There was a piece of pork in the lo mein that was actually green! Seriously horrible. They were having a dispute with previous customer, that should've been our clue to turn around and leave. Firstly, when you enter , it's like they don't want you there. The Best food, sashimi I've ever had and their Chinese food is amazing. A friend suggested this place and I'm glad they did.

They refused to give me forks and spoons for a takeout order despite me putting include utensils included. The guy who answered the phone was rude saying that "normally they at home." This pos didn't consider that maybe I was ordering from work and THERE IS NONE. Food was mid at best, dry and uninspiring. You can sit and eat, ordering from their take-out menu but they serve everything in take-out containers with cheap, tiny plastic utensils. The sushi was not great. Just ordered two lunch specials, one general chicken, and the other was supposed to be bourbon chicken. Unfortunately, I don't have a car to go back there so I am stuck with what they're telling me is bourbon chicken. This is quite obvious boneless ribs. And was given brown rice with bits of pork in it, but it was definitely not fried rice beyond disappointed. below is a picture of what they are calling chicken. And the man told me over the phone that this was chicken when you look at it you can tell it is boneless ribs. I had to add a bunch of seasonings to it to make it even taste good. 3.5 Decent enough spot to grab a quick bite to eat while in an area I'm pretty unfamiliar with. I was originally intrigued because they offer Chinese, as well some Thai AND Japanese, and it seemed to be an easy stop with a party whose tastes and desires that day varied. I was starving after a long, active morning and went with an avocado salad to start. Beautiful fresh avocado was given generously, and the ginger dressing was super tangy and really wonderful. Maybe one of my fave ginger dressing to date! Yum! I then ordered Tom Yum soup, one of my favorite soups ever, and unfortunately this fell short. The broth was watery and the dish was missing the tofu I had asked for. Also, the veggies were sparse. Whomp whomp. The red curry somewhat salvaged the meal after the soup. The flavor was really strong and had the perfect balance of cool coconut and spice. I asked to sub more veggies for the rice and it seems that didn't happen however. This is partly where my overall lower star rating comes from. The punch of flavor and the fact that I ordered so much made this not as big of an issue as it probably should've been. The spongy tofu came in large chunks and the Thai basil was perfect. My dining partner ordered pineapple chicken with only one piece of pineapple, so I'm seeing a theme here. Overall, I would dine again, but I would make sure to be a bit more vocal about my lack of ingredients. I was honestly just too hungry this go around. They do have lunch specials for all cuisines, but they are very strict about substitutions. Service was fine. No complaints there. read more

Found Jade Asian while searching on Yelp for a new place to try. Glad we did. Clean and looked like new. Rick our server was very helpful to us newbies. A few questions, his guidance and we were on our way.... started with pink lady [tuna, salmon, yellowtail, mango, & avocado wrapped with soynoir sushi roll-- so good, fresh, light and delicate and an order of steamed pork dumplings-- tasted like the hand made, made to order soup dumplings we used to get at Petite Soo Chow in Cliffside Park NJ that we greatly miss from our days living in Hoboken. Thin skin, great flavor, a light broth inside that bathes the meat. WOW We shared two Thai dishes, pad thai with shrimp and chicken in coconut sauce -- pineapple, pepper, mushroom and jicama in coconut sauce.... both light, tasty and super fresh. We ordered steamed pork dumplings and six sushi rolls. The dumplings were terrible, very thick chewy dough. The dipping sauce for the dumplings is good! The only sushi roll we liked was Angry Dragon roll, it was decent. I thought the tempura shrimp roll was okay. The other 4 rolls were not good. I do not recommend the sushi here. Stay away from the dumplings, very bad. This was our first time trying this place and we were very disappointed. I don't see myself returning. read more

Jade Asian is our preferred Asian restaurant whenever we are in Bucks County. We have been ordering takeout for at least five years. The portions are ample and they offer a steamed selection that is very fresh. The wait staff is cordial and patient even during the busiest of times. The dining room is clean and well lit. The spicy Szechuan chicken is fantastic! Not quite as spicy as the Szechuan joint a few miles down the road in Hamilton, NJ, but more flavorful. This is also true of the spicy Szechuan noodles. Price wise they are more expensive than the typical Chinese mom and pop place, but the quality of the dishes far exceeds those other places. Very bad. We got pineapple fried rice and it was a yellow weird rice that did not taste at all like usual fried rice. We usually get it from Thai Chef Noodle Fusion and it's is delicious. We also got the Three Treasures sushi roll, and it tasted so bad I thought I might get did poisoning. We usually get sushi from Osaka or Oishi and is way better. We also got Sechzuan chicken, and my son stopped eating it after a few bites. a spring roll was the only thing that might have been good, I did not try. So, I don't know why this place exists. Every food we tried was much worse than in nearby restaurants. Chinese restaurants should stop imitating every asian cuisine around. Cook your own food and leave Thai food to those that know how to make it. read more

Tonight I ordered Teriyaki Steak. The worst I have ever had! First, it came with a salad (iceberg Lettice with one thin slice of cucumber) that wasn't drained of water, that covered the bottom of the salad container. The ginger dressing on the side was thin and flavorless. The same with the miso soup. No flavor at all. The steak, overloaded with black pepper, was about 1/4" thick and was loaded with fat and gristle. The vegetables were undercooked and the gravy was watered down, very thin with no flavor. I have ordered from this restaurant before. In the past it was always about average, however, after this experience I will go back to my old standby, Hong Kong Pearl. read more

They got 3 stars because the young lady that took my order was very nice! I was supposed to have the mock chicken instead I got mock beef. It smelled great but had no flavor at all. My husband had sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice, his chicken was very over cooked and super greasy. While we ate some of it, the rest was trashed. I had a business meeting here on Tuesday this week. My publisher and I decided on sharing the lunch specials which the tempura shrimp and the suchi special were more than enough for a light flavorful lunch. The gentleman that served us made us feel welcome and seen we were going over something important. He made sure our tea cups were never empty and when we finished eating our table was promptly cleared. He joked with us and said he liked to treat the customers like family. Tried most Chinese restaurants in the area and found a gem tonight. Jade Asain in Levittown on Woodbourne Rd exceeded my expectations tonight. First off they deliver to Yardley using Beyond Menu app. They have the best dumplings around, the orange chicken was very good too. The spare ribs were huge and very tasty and plentiful. My son loved his sushi and although my wife wasn't enamored with their pad Thai (kind of dry) we'll definitely be ordering again. read more

We are on vacation visiting sesame place and unfamiliar with the area. Unfortunately dining in was unavailable which I can understand. So we decided to order takeout. Service was poor. We stood there for several minutes before someone took our order. Not friendly at all. Food was okay. The chicken and broccoli was a bit on the sweet side. Jade Asian is a replacement for an earlier Chinese resto at this location. On approach it attempts to position itself as a "Fusion" place offering Chinese, Sushi and Thai cuisine. While the space is clean and bright with a large HDTV on the wall playing NFL games on Sunday evening, and the servers are friendly and courteous, the reality is that this is primarily a Chinese restaurant that doesn't have a Japanese nor Thai chef to handle that end of the menu spectrum. While I saw someone working the Sushi Bar who seemed to know what he was doing, it was obvious after ordering Tom Yum Soup (Vegetables) and Pad Se Yo Noodles (Chicken), that they have a ways to go before they should present themselves as offering a real Thai alternative. The Soup was appropriately tart, but the Vegetables seem to have been thrown into the pot at the last minute. While plentiful, they were large pieces that had not absorbed the flavor of the broth from slow simmering. It just did not hang together as a true Tom Yum would. I asked for a heavy spice infusion on my Pad Se Yo, but what I got was not a Thai dish at all. It was Chinese Chicken Chow Fun, complete with the mild Cantonese brown sauce traditional to that dish. When I asked for additional hot sauce to bring some of the taste I desired, I received only Sriracha in a small dish, but not any Hot Chili Oil, Sesame Oil or even a Curry Powder shaker to doctor it the right way. For Chow Fun it wasn't bad, but for Pad Se Yo it was a major disappointment. Jade Asian is really more about ConFusion, than Fusion. For me, it is not worth a return visit as there are much better Thai places in the area. While I can't comment on the sushi, I am left to believe it likely suffers from the same inauthenticity. read more

Jade Asian is an Asian restaurant located in the Park Plaza Center at the intersection of Woodbourne Road and Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown, PA. (The website has it as 251, others list it as 1251, and Google Maps doesn't always get it right). The site itself has been home to numerous Chinese restaurants - Levittowners may remember it as Lee's Garden - but it's this new turn as a wider-ranging "Asian" restaurant that makes it stand out. The menu covers a bit of traditional Chinese takeout, a lot of Thai standards, and a few Japanese noodle dishes plus a wide range of raw and cooked sushi offerings from their well-provisioned sushi bar. My first trip to Jade Asian, on which this review is based, was for takeout. We ordered the steamed pork dumplings, an eggroll, yaki udon beef, and a shrimp pad thai. The dumplings were in a light, thin wrapper and absolutely packed with pork and deliciousness. The yaki udon beef was heaped with thick, chewy noodles and tender slices of well-seasoned beef, and complemented with onion, scallion, and sesame seeds. The pad thai came with six or seven jumbo shrimp (ate them too fast to count) and was very likely the best pad thai I have had, to date. Our next trip in will definitely be a dine-in experience. The interior, which received a moderate refresh in its transition from its days as a Chinese staple, now features a bright, airy dining room bordered by tufted booths, anchored by the sushi bar, and accented with a large fish tank and a few flat screens. The girl who answered the phone told me that the egg rolls are vegetarian since I asked. I ordered two and ate one last night and heated the other one up today and opened it like I did to the one last night (I didn't see meat last night) and there was something red inside. I called and asked the man who answered and he said the egg rolls are pork. I told him the girl assured me they were veg and he said "she is young"!! Wtf!
