Our server was great but I think he was working too many tables bye himself so we kinda missed the opportunity to order a second round of drinks. We got wings, which were delicious, but I'm so sorry to say, but we didn't love the food overall. With the steak dinner we got, the steak was over cooked and the fries tasted like burnt oil. The pizza also tasted like cardboard with sauce on it and the caesar salad tasted solely like anchovies. I really wanted to love the place and I do for the happy hour and drinks, and I would come back to try it again & order a burger/wrap, but I left a bit disappointed.

People love this place ... I say that because we were there late afternoon during the week and it was busy ... and it kept getting busier. I do understand why folks love it tho, because there's no other real seafood "shack" in the area specifically where folks can get their blue claw crabs. It truly does look and feel like a seafood shack because the wooden walls, brown paper on the table, paper towels on the table and overall decor scream "We are at the beach in a small southern town in the middle of nowhere where" lol Our server was great! She was very attentive and made recommendations... she was also very patient with us given that this was our first time here and we're a bit undecided on what we wanted to order. Now on to the food - this is honestly where I was underwhelmed. The broiled seafood had a whisper of flavor, the crab cake left a lot to be desired and the garlic buffalo shrimp were overwhelmingly buffalo sauce on top of fried shrimp. Now the clam chowder I had was amazing and I even ordered some to go. My friend enjoyed her crab legs meal overall and perhaps if we visit again that's the route I'll go. Oh and it's also a BYOB , so, be sure to grab your favorite bottle and bring it on in.

My Albanian wife and I loved our lunch experience here. It was our first time…read more They had a special hummus with ground lamb appetizer. The ground lamb didn't overpower the already expertly executed hummus and added fantastic depth and richness. We also sprung for the grilled calamari tubes and the chef did a great job of not overcooking while achieving an excellent char. We shared the baked cod and the spice was delicate and perfect. Using cured lemon was a very clever idea as the sauce was not too strong but still had depth; the saffron and turmeric were well balanced. The fish itself was NOT overcooked and flaked perfectly. The vegetables were also executed well and cooked so they could be eaten with the same bite. The star of the show was still the cook on the fish with the wonderful sauce. The sever gave us some Moroccan mint tea which was also wonderful. We will be making the drive from the Maine Line to just to dine here again.

I so wanted to love this place however I am not a fan…read more Let's start with the chicken Parmesan. Honestly, this is probably the only thing that I absolutely loved out of all the mails that we picked out.. The pasta literally lacks sauce as you can see it's more of meat and red sauce, but it didn't even cover all the pasta when you mixed it in. Which also like seasoning flavors. We ordered the pizza for our kids. Our kids were a little disappointed by it as they had more onions than they had of actual meat. A lot of of the onions was covered by the cheese.. The burger I feel like it lacks a description as I didn't know it came with two onion rings and by the time we got home, which is not even five minutes away, the cheese had already hardened. I decided on getting sweet potato fries. They were extremely soggy. They weren't fully cooked. The calamari rings were good however, the sauce is the exact same pasta sauce used for the spaghetti, which was a little bit disappointing. I was recommended this place as I was visiting the area and I love enjoying and trying new places however I try to keep it as honest as possible. There is room for improvement the presentation as well. The food looks aesthetically pleasing however, the lack of flavors is very offputting.. This was a pick up so the service was pretty quick.

Walking in it was lively in the bar area because they were having a trivia night where you can win gift cards. They also have other daily events and happy hours which was great to know. We were immediately seated and our server arrived a few minutes later which was nice bc it gave us time to peek at the menu which is extensive but it was really fun because it's an actual little newspaper which was cute. We ordered the crab dip and a mango martini for me and a blood orange margarita for him of which all three were really good! So much crab dip that we took 1/2 home. And the bread and veggies they serve it with both hit! Entree wise we both ordered items we felt would tell us all we needed to know regarding whether or not they were a legit seafood restaurant - a fried shrimp basket and a broiled combo platter .... BOTH AMAZING! The fried shrimp were MASSIVE and the broiled platter was well seasoned and cooked wonderfully. We had no room for dessert but the menu sounded great. Oh our server was also wonderful! I wish I remembered her name, but she was a tall, blonde young lady with a great sense of humor. So glad our original dinner plans fell through and we finally wound up here - we will be back!

The decor inside was typical for a seafood place, fish, tackle and boat tools on the walls. They walked us to the back of the restaurant to seat us, I got the idea that is all that was open. We ordered the chowder to split and I had fish and chips. The chowder was just ok. There was a lot of pepper and not much of any other spices. The fish and chips was huge. No person would finish it and not leave uncomfortable. It was flaky, perfectly fried and very good. Once we got our food, the server never checked on us.
