The salmon cheesesteak sandwich was not good
    Noelle B.

I ordered some fried cod and a salmon cheesesteak. The cod was soggy and I know cod can be tough to deal with. But the salmon cheese steak was the biggest disappointment. There was barely any salmon on the sandwich and the store bought rolls were horrible. I put half of the sandwich on my place and thought wow 14$ for this was a waste. I go to Camden and get seafood cheese steaks all the time and this one couldn't compare at all. Hopefully they get better and I will try to support again. This is our second time going there and I don't like the food so far. They say third times a charm.

Update your hours online so people don't needlessly drive here or be open on the times posted. That'd be helpful

It could definitely have been split so he lied.second of all it was a little gritty and not as clean as I would like, the bathrooms were disgusting. The corn on my platter was old and inedible. The clams were rubbery and tough. You do go to the counter to get your food yourself, but I figured they would clear the table for us, especially since I tipped them $10 but as I was walking out the door, the counter guy yelled at me." hey you need to throw away your trash!" it was very embarrassing, and I had neatly piled my plates and trash so that it was an easy cleanup and I figured they would have to wipe the table anyway, but now knowing how nasty it is in there, they probably don't wipe the tables. I do not recommend nor will I ever go here again. To top it all off I spent more time in the bathroom afterwards than I would like.

Flounder, scallops, shrimp, clam strips, krab sticks, onion rings. This is what's left after two of us got completely full! I can't believe I didn't get the crab cake picture. It was full of crab. No filler!! Something was off with the coleslaw. It came with two little containers of coleslaw. Mine was really good. Maybe a little sweet for my taste but breaks up the fried food. My husband kept asking me if mine was sour and tasted spoiled. And I kept telling him no it's great. No problem. After he ate some of his he asked me if I wanted the rest. Omg his was horrible. I felt so bad because mine was really good and I thought he was being picky. I had to spit it out. It was definitely a different batch.

The staff is professionally and helpful. The market is practicing COVID-19 protocols. It's a fish market, when you walk in, the first thing you smell is the fresh fish, it reminds me of fish markets I went to as a kid with my mom. Fresh caught fish is delivered a few times a week, here. When you place your order, you can have the entire order filleted on site! No matter how many fish your order contains. There is the onsite purchase or the call in purchase. There is a small waiting area to hang out while you wait. People love this place ... I say that because we were there late afternoon during the week and it was busy ... and it kept getting busier. I do understand why folks love it tho, because there's no other real seafood "shack" in the area specifically where folks can get their blue claw crabs. It truly does look and feel like a seafood shack because the wooden walls, brown paper on the table, paper towels on the table and overall decor scream "We are at the beach in a small southern town in the middle of nowhere where" lol Our server was great! She was very attentive and made recommendations... she was also very patient with us given that this was our first time here and we're a bit undecided on what we wanted to order. Now on to the food - this is honestly where I was underwhelmed. The broiled seafood had a whisper of flavor, the crab cake left a lot to be desired and the garlic buffalo shrimp were overwhelmingly buffalo sauce on top of fried shrimp. Now the clam chowder I had was amazing and I even ordered some to go. My friend enjoyed her crab legs meal overall and perhaps if we visit again that's the route I'll go. Oh and it's also a BYOB , so, be sure to grab your favorite bottle and bring it on in.

Whoa....settle down other reviewer......one star? Yikes. Granted, this isn't French Laundry, but…read moreit's decent seafood at a normal price. Let's break it down: JUST finished my meal from here. First of all, this place is new, and that's why its zinging the way it is. I literally had to leave last saturday when I was standing in the line that was outside the door, and found out that it was an hour before I could ORDER, then another before I'd get my food. Nah. SO, we decided to try a Wednesday, and although it was better wait wise, it wasn't by much. I still had to wait about 15 minutes to order, than an hour for the food to be ready. (Luckily I live close, and just went home until they called to tell me the food was ready. Something they do here, which is appreciated.) About the food; a mixed bag. Some good, some "meh," some bad. The Good: - My steamed platter (snow crab) was good. Nothing to write home about, but a tasty meal. It came with a cluster of crabs, 3 jumbo shrimp, a few red bliss potatoes, some broccoli and carrots, and a piece of corn. All of that was cooked in a creole butter garlic sauce, and then seasoned with some old bay type creole seasoning on top. The crabs were cooked properly (no flimsy shells), the shrimp were good, and a very good size, the potatoes, broccoli and carrots were also fine. - Collard greens were pretty good. - The sweet potato cheesecake was actually really good. I'm not sure it's almost $4 a slice good, and I have no idea if they make it or buy it from say, Costco, and then put sweet potato puree on the top, but it was tasty either way. The Meh: - Crab cakes. A lady in line Saturday told me that she was BACK to get the crab cakes again, as they were "the best she's ever had," but that lady must have never left Willingboro NJ. They weren't terrible, but they were small, not actual lump crab meat, and they were slathered with this sweet brown sauce that really took away from the taste. - Although the creole garlic butter sauce is good, I could've used a little bit more seasoning. - Serving sizes are a little stingy. The collard greens and fries were a little lite. The Bad: - The corn was POSITIVELY INEDIBLE. I was about to give it to my dog before my wife asked to try it, and she was instantly upset that she did. It was mushy and absolutely gross, but this is a common problem with crab boils when it comes to corn. - The side of fries was gross. One, for a large, it was a small portion, but that was ok, because they weren't worth eating anyway. I think the fries, and they way they prepare them might be ok, but it was obvious that our fries had been sitting out for quite some time. You know how a fry tastes after you have them bag up your burger at a restaurant, and you try to reheat them to eat the next day? Yeah, that. They also come with some creole seasoning whether you like it or not, so there's that. Overall, I'm not MAD at the meal I had, but I won't be in any kind of rush to go back. The people working there seemed really nice, and I did appreciate that they call to let you know your food is ready, so you can go do something for the insanely long wait that you currently have to endure. Again, they are BRAND new to this location, so maybe they'll get in a groove, but as it stands now, I'd say skip it for now, because the wait is no where near worth the food you'll get at the end of it.

Wait time to place an order was 45 minutes and prep of food was about an hour. The customer service was appropriate, however I am undoubtedly disappointed in the quality of the food. Not only was the wait (2 hours) overbearing but the product that was served was subpar. By the time I got home and realized what I received it was too late. Attempted to call however no one answered. Moreover there wasn't a website or email to reach out regarding the lack of quality quantity of the food.

My friends and I ordered clam chowder, a truffle fries, calamari, crab cakes , breadsticks, and a seafood platter with ramen. The clam chowder was creamy. Not sure if it's cause we each tried some to see if we like it, but I didn't even taste any clam in the soup! The truffle fries were very crispy, definitely can tell it's freshly made. Breadsticks and crab cakes, on the other hand, were slightly overcooked. They are no golden brown but darker brown color to me. Maybe that's the way they cook and serve them. As for the main dish, the seafood patter with ramen, it was not bad. I normally order butter or max two flavors, but this time, the group wants to try triple flavors. It wasn't bad but slightly salty, which is predictable, but definitely flavorful. This is the first time i add ramen to my seafood boil. It was delicious. The ramen soaked up all the sauce and flavors. Well worth trying. Our waitress was very friendly and filled with smiles. Great service! The restaurant itself was pretty big with many tables and, I believe, two party rooms. Great for special occasions and celebrations.
