All your food comes in a steamed bag with your choice of sauce. I love the Garlic Butter!

The Snow and Dungenous Crab is really good. The size and width of the snow crab is an especially notable. The shrimp is very large also. All other options are really amazing and the pricing is good and better than other places. When it comes to the quality in size, they have everyone else beat, especially those all you can eat buffets, they blow them away when it comes to the size of the snow crab. Love this place!

Love this spot! Very friendly staff, knowledgeable waitstaff, who make good suggestions of items. Food is so good. The shrimp boils are the best and you can choose different seasonings and levels of spice. Can't beat a sweet deal of crab legs with corn and shrimp and you can share with who you are with. I also like the hush puppies. The decor is welcoming and unique and it just makes you feel like you are under the sea.

Decided to get seafood boil tonight, which was a great idea. Service was amazing. We were seated immediately. There was a nice amount of people inside the restaurant however it was still a good level of noise. Drinks were amazing and strong. I did not try any dessert because I was full from eating all the seafood I will definitely be going back.

This was not my original plan for Father's Day dinner but we ended up coming here because we were impatient and hungry and I'm so upset by that choice. This place is probably the worst restaurant I've been to and I'd be afraid to eat here again. The seafood is not fresh. We ordered oysters and knew immediately that they were not fresh and sent them back. We also ordered calamari which is obviously frozen and chewy. Crab fries with no crab taste but probably the only edible thing I ate and the rice. My son and I ordered a bag for 1-2 to share with crab legs, shrimp, mussels, clams, crawfish, potatoes and corn. We ordered it in the mix of sauce I think called the boom mild. Almost instantly something did not taste right. The butter is imitation. There is food dye in the butter and the sauce and it is oily my son and I did not like it and did not eat it. I am allergic to food dye and could tell immediately this was filled with it. My son had a sore throat and headache And I got headache and tingly lips. My husband ordered crab legs and shrimp in garlic butter which was oily and yellow- he ate it but definitely didn't think it was good, he wasn't bothered by anything. My son and I agree there was a chemical off taste to it and we didn't eat it. My son had McDonald's on the way home, I had a migraine pill on the way home. I don't usually post bad reviews but this place is bad. Also the service wasn't good either our waitress forgot our silverware, plates, drinks the second time around since the first one didn't taste right and our gloves and bibs and we had to request the check after waiting to find her for several minutes.

Went today with my sister and my Momma's best friend (our adopted aunt) and we were all happy we decided to try something new. Bernadette got the chicken fingers and Cole slaw and said she would give five out of five stars. My sister said four stars because, although she liked her scallops, she prefers a crispier breading. Same with her sweet potato fries, a little crispier preferably. I loved my boil bag - shrimp and snow crab legs. The boom sauce was tasty. I had medium heat which was good but I am looking forward to trying fire next time. The potatoes and corn were delicious, as well! Our waiter, Josh, was awesome - very friendly, attentive, and helpful with our ordering which always appreciated since it was our first time there. The s atmosphere is casual with a beach vibe. Specious bar also available with tvs for sports entertainment, as well. Check them out!

I finally got around to ordering from crafty crab after deciding to try them out since I saw their large billboard on the highway on a regular basis. Finding the location was fairly easy and the restaurant was within a strip mall, not sure what I was expecting but I was not expecting a strip mall. I ordered prior, online and drove to this location which requires ID and the credit card used to purchase the order (I've seen people turned away without the proper identification which is reassuring). Inside the restaurant has blue lighting and a nice ambiance that evening. Was able to get my food quickly and headed back out. My order was the combo of 0.5lb crab legs and 0.5lb headless shrimp (that was about 1 cluster of crab legs and ~8 shrimp). I thought that would be enough but I'm used to larger portions of seafood boils so maybe next time I'll order 1lb instead. I ordered the medium spiced sauce because I love spicy food but wasn't sure of their level of spice. Going forward I can go for the spicy or give their butter garlic a try. There is also a boom that includes the level of sauce you like, butter garlic, and lemon pepper all mixed together. I've heard good things about that so my next time I'll try that. And even try dining in next time. All in all I had a good meal.

We were seated immediately. We requested to be seated at a table. We had our favorite server Ariana. We love coming here especially before we hit the casino. Great service from Ariana. Very attentive to our needs. I love the oysters, steamed scallops and the seafood bag. All the food was great and will come again. I will always ask for Ariana as my server.

I entered the Crafty Crab, and the dining area was large and open. I decided to order and take it out. The place was nearly empty, and I sat by the door to review the menu. They have mostly fried dishes. Some broiled, but not much. I ordered Coconut Shrimp and the Crab Lagoons. Both dishes were very hot and delicious. The Crab Lagoons were thick and tasty. I've had them out before, and this place tops them all. The Coconut Shrimp could have used more Coconut, but besides that, they were also good but not the best I've ever had. No drink; by the time I left with my food, the place was getting packed. There were no more seats left to sit while waiting. Wheelchair accessible, lots of seating, and prices are fair to pricey, but I think it's worth a try, kid-friendly, and they had a bar. I did not enter that far in, so if you want a drink with alcohol, you may want to call first. The staff was excellent in answering questions about the menu.

First thing first: Are you a butter lover like me? Like I have to have lots of butter with my crab legs. If YES, you have two choices: AVOID CRAFTY CRAB OR HARASS THEM FOR MORE BUTTER lol. Recent years, these type of seafood shops have pop up all over Philly and its surrounding suburbs. Reasons why I end up coming to this Bensalem location is bc I was unsuccessful at Shake Seafood on cottman and Crack Crab on Grant on Christmas. Both of their phone lines went directly to voicemail numerous times. I actually like how crafty crab looks. Very spacious dinning area with a bar, that bar is coming soon in few months. I didn't dine in, I want to eat at the comfort of the house, so I got take out. I order 3 pounds of snow crab legs and 2 orders of sweet potato fries. I ask for extra garlic butter when I pick up my order. The guy(manager/boss) got a irritated look on his face as if i was asking a lot. Usually other places give you butter for each bag of seafood you purchase, not at Craft Crab. They didn't include any butter on the side beside the one I ask for. Butter is cheap comparing to crab legs. Giving me only 1 cup of butter for 3 pounds of legs, r u serious?? I couldn't finish my crab legs bc I ran out of butter..... Crab legs were seasoned very well. Wasn't overly heavy that you need 2 bottles of water quenching your thirst afterward lol. And sweet potato fries were tasty too. The fact that they include bibs and single used gloves are a plus too. Might give them another try...... I thought the guy/boss is quite nasty but shout out to the cashier at the counter. She answer my gazillion questions patiently. She didn't stare at me and my hub as if we were from outer space( hostess and one of the waitress) were giving us a stare down lol.

I was glad I had a reservation when I went to Crafty Crab, as there was a crowd of people waiting. But it is a large restaurant, so the wait probably isn't too long. The smell of seafood hits you as soon as walk in, which combines with the nautical decor to put you in the mood for the seafood meal to come. Most people seem to get a seafood boil, and that's what my girlfriend ordered. But I was craving something fried, so I had a fried shrimp basket. It was a basket of perfectly fried juicy shrimp, on top of fries dusted in Cajun seasoning, with a side of cocktail sauce. The shrimp were smaller than what I prefer, but there was plenty of them and they were good. The fries tasted like... fries. I also tried the peeled shrimp, dusted in Cajun seasoning, and the potatoes from my girlfriend's seafood boil. They were delicious. I miss all the old seafood restaurants in Philly, and although Crafty Crab is right outside of Philly it's a throwback to those restaurants that I miss. I will be back to sample more of the menu. The dessert choices are lacking, so I do hope they step up their dessert game.

The most comparable place to this is hot n juicy crawfish (which I quite enjoy). Over the past few years several seafood restaurants has opened in the area, very similar to this style. I've tried a few other places but so far I think I like this place the best. This was only my first visit and I did go in the middle of a week day. I'll have to try it again to see if I get the same quality. Wins: I was able to get extra corn instead of the potato. The seasoning was pretty good. Crabs were a nice size and the waitress was pleasant. Cons: none that would be fair
