I had a great experience with giovanni and his team, after my car was involved in an accident. The team did an excellent job with the repairs, and my car looks fantastic. They were professional, kept me informed throughout the process, and, most importantly, got everything finished quickly and on time as promised. I really appreciated how smooth they made the entire experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing quality auto body repairs! read more

Giovanni helped me to get my car fixed. I got rear ended last July 2,2025. I was so frustrated cuz I just got this car last year and I really love her! I requested for only OEM parts to be installed in my car and he gave me assurance that he will. He listened to my request. On top of that, he arranged the car rental for me and contacted the insurance provider of the person who rear end me. I had car rental since the day after the accident and till my car got fixed. I like how my car looked like after it got fixed. read more

Even if this is the only place available, do not take your vehicle here! I was approached by the owner one day driving with visible collision damage on my car. He suggested I bring my car to him for repairs and I did. What a MISTAKE! The owner, Giovani kept my car for too long, then did not even repair the door correctly. I couldn't open it or unlock it upon it's return. Fail! When I brought it back to re-repair my door, I asked him to replace my front brakes and pads. He took 2 weeks and still did not fix the door. My brakes started squeaking loudly, they were grinding fiercly. He would not replace the brakes. He insisted I return the car to repair the door a 3rd time. He kept the car an additional 14 days and still did not replace the brakes, he did not repair anything he promised. This man is a liar, a scoundrel! A scoundrel is a person who behaves very badly towards other people, especially by cheating or deceiving them. Giovani operates outside of the moral bounds of society. - Disappointed and ripped off!!! read more

My Honda had an unfortunate meet-up with a garage wall. I contacted Platinum and Giovanni gave me a very reasonable estimate 5 minutes after looking at the car. He ordered the parts and they completed the job in less than a week, just like they said they would. The work is beautiful and the car looks better than it did before the acciden read more

Took my car in for a minor accident and it was done in less than a week. I appreciated the professionalism and the help the employees provided. Giovani addressed all my concerns prior to the repair. Flexible and easy shop to work with. The repairs came out great and my car is back to its original condition. Thank you!!! read more

My car was recently stolen and I needed a body shop to send it to in order to assess the damage. I found Giovanni and Platinum Collision on Yelp. He was super helpful and simplified the whole process for me. Even returned my calls so I could ask all of the questions. Give this place your business and you won't regret it. They're incredibly helpful, responsive, and straightforward. read more

Giovani has been a life saver. And I recommend everyone to go to him. Very professional!!! 10000/10

I gave my car to Giovanni July 2023 and didn't get my car back until July 2024. He has my car for an entire year without working on it then had to finish it in a week because I was moving. This made them take short cuts like replacing my lights with incredibly dim lights, not replacing the fog lights and just putting something to cover it up, my check engine light was on because they didn't replace the active shutter or the car "wouldn't be ready in time" and they never secured my battery to my car. It took them about a month to finally get the active shutter put in and when I told them about my battery they said I just need to buy a bracket. When I told Giovanni his employees said that he said he would come "later this week" to fix it. That was the beginning of October and he hasn't reached out to me at all. He told me the battery is new but the mechanic I went to to check his work said most things he replaced on my car is used. He let me use a rental car since he had my car for so long and it got towed with all of my stuff in it. I'm realizing I'll never get that stuff back. Every time I had to reach out to him I had to harass him before he would respond. It is just such a hassle to deal with them I would avoid it. read more

I decide to get my car fix at this store after having a very informative conversations with the owner. He was very responsive the entire time during the whole process. The result is amazing too. My car looks as good as before!!! The paint has no color difference with the original color. read more

GIOVANNI HAS DONE IT AGAIN! Once fixed a hit and run vehicle in 24 hours at his Upland location about two years ago. Never thought I would require his services again; however, an unruly driver caused damage to my Escalade. I found Giovanni at his Long Beach location. He squeezed my vehicle in and had it repaired in 36 hours. His price was very fair and competitive and the work was impeccable. In addition, he washed the vehicle and had it looking brand new. Thanks Giovanni!!! You, your staff, and work ethic are APPRECIATED! read more

I've now had 2 vehicles done by Giovanni and his incredible team. My brand new Fiat 124 Spyder was involved in a pretty bad accident. Being that the vehicle was new to the market and I was leasing gave me concern as original oem parts were required. Although the parts were new and hard to obtain Platinum Collision eased my concerns. Giovanni sent a tow truck to my home, dealt with my insurance company and made the process so simple. My car came back literally brand new and I have enjoyed every second since! I highly recommend Platinum Collision! My 1978 Chevy Truck was also restored. The color was changed along with bodywork and installation of brand new interior components. Giovanni's patience and knowledge was essential in deciding the correct paint color. Someone vandalized the hood of my car. They were deep scratches down to the metal. Needless to say I was pretty bummed. I got 4 quotes to repaint the hood. Giovanni not only had the most competitive pricing, but offered amazing customer service. As a business owner he takes real pride in the quality of his work and his shop. Giovanni didn't try to upsell me. He walked me through what and how the hood needed to be repaired, which I really appreciated. Platinum Collision Experts also offers lifetime warranty on all paint jobs; meaning the paint won't flake or fade in 2 years. I dropped my vehicle off on Saturday at 8:00 am and got it back on Monday at 4:00 pm. I am EXTREMELY happy with the quality of work. If i ever have to repair my 2016 BMW 328i then Platinum Collision Experts will be my first stop. Thank you Giovanni! read more

Got into a terrible accident, car got towed to the shop , front end damage was bad, waited a few months for parts being on back order which is understandable , once I went to go inspect the car at the shop when it was ready , car is running fine , no engine problems , they made it look like if it never happened, really appreciate the hospitality that this shop gave me along with all the techs , I would give this shop more than 5 stars if I could. read more

I got into an accident, which was not my fault. A gentleman was there during the time of accident and he was kind enough to help out. He took me into his care. Giving me all of the signs of good intentions. In the meantime, I went to his collision and he did take good care. But I was not happy with the time and work. Took over 30 days for the repairs and they did not do any justice for my car. It came back with missing windshield spray on the hood of the car on the driver side. Missing emission label on the hood of the car. They took my back seat apart and did not try to put it back correctly. They did not try to replace the front license plate. He kept delaying weeks after weeks. I wish I did not go there. I could have gone elsewhere that my insurance, had referral me to. Not a happy customer. read more

So I got into a pretty bad wreck, so I decided to work with them with my insurance claim. The experience was absolutely terrible. My car got delayed 3 times, they also haven't fixed the inside of my trunk hatch cover, seat and the hatch button to open the car. The owner has just been making up excuses for the past 3 months for this. He's been trying to get out of fixing my seat. He tried to get me in to fix the hatch and hatch button, but I refused because he said the seat wasn't in yet. He told me seat was delayed about a week. So I told him let's wait till the seat arrived to do everything at once, didn't make sense at all. When I said that I heard the slight annoyance in his voice, he definitely didn't like that. " I wonder why". He's was obviously just tryna get out of fixing the seat. My insurance paid for a new seat and he just bent it back in place which it is bending back down now. I'm contacted him multiple times, majority of the time he never answer. If he does he says he has a doctors appointment. Every-time that was his excuse, I get it people have stuff going on. But this has been going on for months. read more
