OK. I realize that some people may have had bad experiences with this shop but that hasn't happened to me. The front desk (Jocelyn in particular) and customer service was PRISTINE and CLEAR from the start! I admit, I was a bit nervous but I took the car to them anyway because it was vandalized (from a crazy landlord). Anyway, I was told by them that the damage was extensive and that it would take 20 days to fix. I was dismayed but customer service took me outside and assessed the damage and it took such a short time. I can honestly say that they communicated with me throughout the process and they received permission from my insurance center IMMEDIATELY. I was shocked at how thorough they were! Not only were they thorough and communicative, they were friendly and I genuinely felt VALUED. Rarely have I encountered an auto center that made me feel this way. Finally, to top it off, they finished the car 7 days (!) in advance so it didn't take the full 20. I WILL be taking the care back to them, and I wish that they did oil changes and tune-up(?) I would just take it to them for my auto needs. I gave them a perfect score because of the level of professionalism, communication, and yes timeliness of the project. P.S. I took my vehicle to this dealership as recommended by my insurance and the bumper recently slipped off during the recent heavy rain. It seems to be on, but I always have to force it back into place on the side that was damaged. It appears they used some sort of cheap adhesive to stick it back on after repairs & used a bumper that does not fit my current vehicle model. For the most part, the paint matched, the turnaround was about 2-3 weeks but honestly I've had much better experiences else where. Many years ago I had worse damage on a vehicle that was handed over to me within a one week. Just picked up my car. They are very clear about what will be replaced including all costs. They even fixed (at no extra cost) another issue that was not a part of the original claim. STAY AWAY! These people are thieves and cheats. My car came in with rear end damage and they messed with my engine. My car does not sound right. It's a hybrid and used to have a heavenly sound to it, now it sounds like it's struggling. This car is a 2024 with 5k miles and zero front end damage. Why was so much done to the engine? The body work is terrible and the paint is terrible. There are scratches and tool marks they left around the car that were not there before making the car look damaged. Some pieces were not put on correctly and you can see gaps that were not there before. The paint job is no better you can see the imperfections in the paint, the color is very diffrent and there is to much orange peel. It seems they got some sort of coating on my rims as well that they were not able to take off. The front rims are smooth (like they should be) and the back rims are textured. These people also stole my samsung charging cord along with my prescription rayband sunglasses in a raybands case. It looks like they tried to steal the phone holder as well because it is broken and you can see where they stuck a tool to try and take it off. I don't know how they're running this place. Came in with a fender bender from a car accident and was told it would take a week. A week later, I had to call back and ask about the status of my car. The front desk representative said it would now take an additional 10 days on top of the original week so 17 days. They would have not contacted me or told me anything unless I called them. went over and looked at my car and all they've done so far is take the bumper off. My car is sitting on their lot, not being worked on. She asked about a check from the insurance company and then she volunteered that she was digging through my car to look for it. That's where it was. SO WEIRD THIEF VIBES TOO. All around terrible vibes, terrible attitude from the representative, terrible service. Awful just awful. Took my car in to have my roof replaced. Had to wait 2 weeks to bring it in and it took them 5 months to fix it after constant phoning and, "It'll be ready next week, no the week after I mean, no no the end of the month for sure." its ridiculous. Was first told they couldn't find the part. When I called 2 weeks later its "Oh no we have it we're just having issues with your insurance" News to me?!?!?!? Maybe call and let me know about the delay or something. Then nothing for a month. No call or update just nothing until I called them. Im told the part they got sent was wrong and they needed to reorder it. Fine stuff like that happens so I wait, "Got sent the wrong part again" ok "Oops wrong again!" ... They could not find the part and told me "Its out of our hands Maybe you can call and see what's going on?" Dumbfounded is the best word to describe the feeling I felt after hearing that. But I shouldn't've been surprised, they never called me about updates so why should I expect them to do the bare minimum and call about my part. Queue months of waiting with no definitive answer on when im getting the part and finally I have to settle for A USED PART IN A DIFFERENT COLOR. Awesome glad I waited almost half a year to get my car back in the wrong condition. But the cherry on top? When I finally called (yes I STILL had to call to get the update on my car being done, shocker.) They didn't finish the detailing. Told me I should get it the next day maybe. And I do finally pick it up,(still didn't call me to tell me it was ready) all my stuff is tossed in the trunk including a little trash can they didn't bother to check if empty and sunglasses that are now scratched up. To top that off, as if it couldn't get worse, they messed up my steering wheel. Its dirty as f*ck, there's a gash in the leather grip some how, and all the chrome is ruined as its flaking so bad it comes off in my hands while driving. They had the audacity to say "oh well when you brought it in it was kinda already like that" No dumb*ss, I brought it in with a slight imperfection to the wheel. I got it returned with most of the chrome gone. All in all a terrible experience A 5 min google search pops up many listings for a headliner and calling these sites for info confirm they had them in stock and could ship overnight. They don't do their jobs. Waste of time and everyone should avoid this place. They don't give two shits about you and you can very clearly hear it in their tone of voice. Half the time its sounds like they forget their at work its sad. Couldn't be bothered to remember who you are even if you called and hour ago. And zero sense of agency. Fire Claira or Carla or whatever her name and the rest of the girls in the front office is and get some ppl in there who actually care and know what their doing. To who ever does business at this shop, just so you know your vehicles will be parked 1-2 blocks from the location.This place looks like they over book for the limited space it has. I live across from the shop & I've counted as much as 15 cars on the surrounding streets. The farthest I saw one was on Linden & 15th. Don't be surprised if you guys see extra dings, dents or scratches on your cars. A few weeks ago there was a horrible car accident where a drunk driver crashed into 6 cars on 15th & Elm. This review should have been written months ago. Please avoid this shop at all cost. If I could give this place negative stars I truly would. Extremely unethical practices and they use scare tactics for people to force them to choose their services. I feel extremely sad for the people who have fallen for their poor practices. We encountered a few issues from this awful establishment. The first one my husband left his car here to obtain an estimate. The owner Jose kept our car and told us he had to wait until he received the payout estimated amount from the insurance adjuster. After he knew how much money the insurance was going to pay then he told us how much he was going to charge us to fix our car. He added an additional 2k above the amount from the insurance. My husband refused his services because he lacked transparency on how much labor and supplies would cost. It felt like he was trying to maximize his payout at all cost! Jose the owner refused to release our car if we didn't pay him storage fee which was over $3800, he held our car unlawfully and forced us to hire an attorney. I feel so bad for the people that can't afford legal representation from this bullying establishment. We were able to obtain our car without charging us any storage fee. This place is truly awful and unethical. He also lied about our car needing a new transmission and additional work. This was after him (Jose) knowing how much the insurance was going to fund the fixing of our car. He was adding more issues than what the car truly had. They ordered wrong interior parts and then received flawed part, then waited again for the right parts to bring my car back to wait again 2 weeks because they broke more trim parts on take down and still had to paint the door and wait to dry in the middle of the second week. Still waiting on my car, at first they said pick up on Monday, then Tuesday and now they are saying it will be ready tomorrow on Wednesday. The only good thing I can say is how friendly and kind the front office staff are. I've had my car in the shop for a week and a half and not only did they order the part a week after I sent the car in, they haven't even started on my repair. Make sure if you go with them then you have rental car services paid for to your insurance, otherwise you will double your bill just by renting a car while waiting for them to finally get started on your vehicle. My tailgate and bedcover were stolen from my truck, and Mercury Insurance recommended Number One Auto Collision for the repair. I am currently furloughed from my job, which makes this situation even more stressful. However, meeting with the staff of Number One Auto Center made me feel a lot better. Larysa at the front office was extremely friendly, helpful, and empathetic to my situation. The owner Jocelyn was also there, and she was terrific. She seemed to care about her customers and took the time to explain the process to me and was very accommodating. Also, I am a bit of a germaphobe because of COVID, but their office was immaculate and very clean. While I was there, it was continually sanitized, and they took every precaution to ensure their customers stayed safe. My car hasn't been fixed yet, but based on my interactions with the staff and owner today, I highly recommend Number One Auto Center. read more

My husband and I dropped our car off here to have a bumper fixed in April. (Our insurance wanted us to come here) It took this place three weeks to send in an estimate to our insurance. We had to call over and over to get someone to even send the paperwork over. Our car has still been at this shop with random new things being repaired. Each week we call we get a different excuse as to why our car isn't complete. Each week we are told it'll be done in another week. Apparently they sent our car out for alignment but don't know where they sent it, billed our insurance for the alignment, next week we call and they say they are sending it that day for alignment work. ???? They also haven't sent us a narrative and breakdown on all they've done even after we've asked repeatedly. Nobody there knows anything, they don't know where our car is, apparently they ordered a headlight, didn't get the right headlight, told me they had the right one and it will be done Wednesday. Today they told my husband they didn't have the right one and it won't be done in time. This shop has kept our car now for almost 3 months. They are difficult to deal with, unresponsive, unprofessional and we are fearing either our car has been stolen by this shop and they are committing insurance fraud or that they have completely ruined the car and are trying to buy as much time as possible while milking our insurance. We have submitted insurance fraud investigation with our insurance due to the billing not matching their statements, we will be filing a police report for our missing vehicle, and we will be filing a BBB report against them. This business is truly insane. The rudest, most unprofessional, aggressive for no reason girls work in the office. They had my car for two whole months and then gave me the car and told me they'd call me in a few days, because they still needed to install the grille. They never called me. It is literally the end of July and I've been calling since November to get an answer. They would put me on hold and never come back, hang up on me, transfer me to a voicemail and then not pickup when I called back, etc., I'd constantly ask for the manager but he was always "on lunch "or "in a meeting". The name is a joke because they are really number one out of five stars. Worst service, didn't fix what was wrong with my car even though I told them over and over what was wrong after over a month of them so called working on my car they said it was ready. I was an Uber driver and was going to work Coachella . I drove it off there driveway, not even 2 blocks and my steering wheel freezes up and car slows down. They lied when they said they fixed my car and they didn't fix what was wrong with it. Cosmetically they so called fixed it which was crap work. I hit a raccoon on a blind curve. The following morning I get in my car and my car would turn on but would not move and the dash had warnings and say to have car towed to ford dealership. I did and ford said the raccoon messed up the auto steering for the self parking and the special part needed to be replaced. So I took my car to number one auto body. They said I needed a new hood ,new front quarter panels and the front grill and front bumper. All I needed from what I saw was a new bumper but number one milked the insurance system scammed the insurance company and me. So I was furious and told them this needs to be fixed immediately and they didn't work on it. Still no car. They had my car so long that they ended up paying for my rental after my insurance only covers a month. They ended up having ford fix it. A couple months go by and I had scraped the bottom plastic of my bumper a month prior. A couple months later the fog light casing of my bumper flies off on the freeway. I take it in and tell them what happens because they "guarantee their work for the life of the car . They looked at and said bring it back when the part comes. I didn't hear from them for a week so I drove over and they didn't order the part they looked at the missing $85 fog light Insert and saw the bottom of my bumper scraped . They said that the insert came out when I scraped the bottom of my bumper. I told them that scratch happened a month before the insert came off. They wouldn't replace it and I couldn't believe it. Bottom line they are the worst auto accident repair place . They are shady , lie, do crappy work and don't know what they are doing. read more

Okay, I'm being generous when I put 1 star. If Yelp allowed me to, I would put 0 stars! My experience with this place is horrible. I warn you now, STAY AWAY!! It all started in May 2018. My car was broken into and my radio was stolen. When the thieves stole my radio, it triggered my car into antitheft mode, meaning I could not turn on the car or even move it! My insurance told me that Number One Collision Center would repair my vehicle. I contacted them the next day and I was informed it would be TWO WEEKS until they could send out a tow truck to pick up my car and take it to the shop. Why should I wait two weeks for them to even receive the vehicle? However, I waited two weeks and the car was picked up. I was informed that the repair wouldn't take too long. To be honest, I don't remember the exact time frame they gave me. But nonetheless, it ended up taking TWO MONTHS for me to get my car back! It was dropped off in June 2018 and picked up officially in August 2018. I had to constantly call to speak to Jocelyn over my vehicle and its status. It took forever for them to replace the stereo system and dashboard. They ended up not finding all the parts so they had to give me a check for the damage. The part that upset me was that they replaced my battery without telling me (which they charged me for and took out of the check)! My car was finally done a month later and when I went to pick it up, they forgot to connect my bass system to the actual stereo. Which meant I couldn't take the car yet. Then I went to pick up the car one more time and the air conditioning stopped working (it was working before they worked on the car). So that meant they needed to fix that. They even damaged my new rims! They had to send it in to be fixed! More so, their power wash took off the color from my rim caps and I had to go back to my original shop where I got the rims done so that I can get those replaced (which by the way, it wasn't until October that I got the check for those rim caps from Number One). The car alarm system they put in my car kept sounding off randomly. I was unwilling to take it back to them to get it fixed. I called my insurance and had them pay me directly to get that cheap alarm system replaced. Yes it was cheap, the other shop I went to told me it was imported trash essentially. I'm so disgusted at the poor work they did and how frustrating it was for me for those two months! In the end, I had to go to two additional shops to get my rim caps replaced and car alarm replaced over the poor work of Number One! Please do not do business with them! read more

Okay, so my sister's car got hit at 4am on the same day (it was a Wednesday, from what I remember) that I received a list of body shops in the Long Beach area that are warrantied by my insurance company (USAA). I went to Fix Auto Long Beach near fabric barn on Anaheim and my sister was sent to this place. I was quoted my suburban to be done in a week's time on the day I dropped the car off to be taken apart for the estimate to be sent to my insurance. I received daily text messages from Fix auto notifying me that my target date was Friday on the following week. Amazingly! My car was done in exactly a week! I'd dropped my truck off at 5pm on Wednesday and picked it up at 515pm the following Wednesday (only because I'd missed their call at 3pm and saw it at 5pm). My point is, my sister is STILL waiting on an estimate from this place, and on top of that, they quoted her that it would be fixed in TWO and a half MONTHS!!!! But of course someone would call her once a week to update her on The progress of her vehicle. I can't believe it. I mean, if you have 2-3 months of a rental included in your policy, fine go here. But If you don't, or if you only have one month, go to Fix Auto -- or anywhere else really. read more

I just assumed it was the best option, seeing how it was an authorized repair shop through my insurance. However, I'm very disappointed and frustrated with the staff and shop. I won't mention names but I can count on one hand how many times I was told my vehicle would be ready and it wasn't. This location lacks communication where a lot of frustration could be resolved. BEWARE! Never again go to an Auto Body shop where your car insurance recommends. Someone had hit and run my car leaving the driver side mirror completely off, and I had to come here for an estimate. I dropped it off overnight, hoping the next morning they will have the estimate done and I would have options to discuss with my claim adjuster. Nope, I called in the next morning and they said they would call me later in the day to give me the estimate. I waited all day, not a single ring. Second day, I called again, they claimed they called me and told me they have done the work on my car. What the? Who does that? With what approval did you get to do the job? Because the mirror replacement cost is lower than my deductible, I'm paying it out of my own pocket. I'm a bit furious, and upset despite that it is a minor fix on my car. What if it was a bigger deal such as a transmission fix that would of cost nearly a grand to replace. Communication here does not exist. I'm the kind of person if you say something will be done on this day and time. I expect it to be as said. Where do I start? Truly. I mean...how does one convey how absolutely grateful they are for the gift that is Jocelyn and her team? Were I not as gifted with description as I am, this review MIGHT prove challenging. But given how absolutely accommodating Jocelyn and her assistant Sang were to me and my daughter, singing their praises will prove effortless. My daughter had a very jarring accident this Summer and was broken hearted when her (new to her) Nissan Murano she'd had not even a month was smacked into by an uninsured driver. After a very quick referral to Jocelyn and her 'Number One Auto Center' team, I was instantly embraced, welcomed, waited on, hand-held and given the most delicate touch to ease my worries and console my daughter. Not to mention, with all that they had on their plate, I was returned the car relatively fast! In fact, 'Number One Auto Center' did SSSUCH a good job, they kind of ruined the mundane and scratched-up-ness of my daughter's ordinary-looking beater as their repairs were done better than I could have hoped and now look better than the rest of the car!! So while I do indeed hope I myself don't ever wind up in any kind of wreck, should I make it through and my car not be totaled, I can think of no other repair shop I would want to touch my vehicle!
