Bad paint. Less then 1 year since i got it done here. What a waste of 1000 dollars. Would not recommend this spot to ANYONE
Gerardo P.

Literaly the worst place you can take your car to get repainted. The owner (saul i beleive his name was) activley tries to have you rip off your insurance company . The paint they use is low quality. And when they quote you a time it goes beyond that by weeks. For context back earlier in 2021 i had a drunk driver scrape the side of my car at around 3 am while my car was parked. I got it on camera but since i got no license plate this was gonna be a fix i had to do all by myself. I knew that with my deductable i would be paying 1000.00 out of pocket, so i decided to shop around body shop. Forst shop quoted me 800 which was alright but being it was my first shop i checked again. After about 2 hours of shopping around i stumbled upon classic touch. Small lot with a ton of cars. As i pulled up the man Saul dude with a shaved head walked up and greeted me. I showed him the damage and he said he could do it for 500 in 2 weeks. It was my best deal so far so i jumped on it. He said he would be going through my insurance which i found odd since my deductable was 1000.00 but he said hed tale care of the insurance company and all ide have to do was sign paper. 2 weeks go by and i contact him to see how much longer he would be taking to which he responds "the vehicle is still on the lot anf they have not started work on it because i need to contact my insurancd company because they didnt wanna cover it." What??? First off. Why wouldnt he call and tell me that befor the 2 weeks he quoted me were up???? Second off i only left my car because he said he was handling the whole insurance process. So i show up to pick up my vehicle because obviously this is some scam or something and he comes out and assyres me. "No one more week ill takw care of it" My insurance company then calls me and says theres a red flag on my case because classic touch is trying to charge them way more then what the person whom went out to check the vehicle saw and noted. So i go back to Saul and try to pick up my car again to which he again reassures me that that always happenes ect ect. I leave it again for just 1 more week and finally my insurance company flat out tells me they wont cover it without my full 1000 deductable. Okay cool. So i go to pick up and im told that my car has been moved for painting already??? Which doesnt make sense because there is no one who authorized any of that to happen. My insurance company said no so i dont see why he or they would go and ship it out??? Then they tell me that since the insurance company isnt covering it it would come out to about 2500 to cover the painting. (My car was only scratched on 2 doors. I dont see why it would be that much??? And i was quoted 500 at first and 2 weeks, to which now it was 2500 and 5 weeks?? No way i told him to tell me where my car was, and to tell thrm not to touch it cuz i would be there withing 30 min. Finaly he just cuts to 1000 and done in a week and feeling frustrated and defeated i finally agreed. Big mistake. I should have gone to yhe insurance company. Less then a year after the repainting my paint is cracking and chipping. And its literaly only on the area that they repainting. Absolutly horrible. I would say stay away 1000% scam artists and not people of their word. Worst autopaint shop ever.

This is right after my accident.

This shop caused multiple areas of damage to my car and I would not return…read more The damage was never disclosed to me, not when the work was completed, not when I picked up my car, and not when I paid for the repaint job. I only discovered it once I got home. When I confronted the shop owner, Pat, he admitted to the damages but communication from that point on became challenging and more difficult than it needed to be. There were long gaps without his response and at times the tone felt dismissive or unnecessarily tense, which made the situation even more stressful. I've made many attempts to work with Pat to find a fair and reasonable solution. To this day, I'm actually still waiting for a reply to my last message asking again to discuss a reasonable solution. After repeated non-responses and apathetic communication, it became clear that no compromise would be reached. The only option he is willing to offer is the one solution I clearly stated I'm not comfortable with: bringing my car back this same shop that damaged it in the first place. Given the damages my car received from 5 Stars Automotive, my hesitation is understandable. I even tried to negotiate a different solution by providing multiple repair estimates from other reputable auto shops and he responded by calling this practice "dishonest" (very ironic, I know). I'm leaving this review because I believe it's important to be transparent about my experience. I put my trust in this shop to restore my car's appearance, but instead I'm forced to deal with additional damages they caused.

This photo was what I submitted when requesting a mobile repair quote, and the damage is centered…read moreon the reflector itself, along with dents above and below it. The repair quote I received did not specifically exclude the reflector repair, and it included a charge for "additional materials." Because of that, I reasonably believed the visible reflector damage was included as part of the repair. When I called the office before making the appointment, they didn't tell me that the reflector itself will not be fixed. When the technician arrived, he informed me that they could only repair the dents above and below the reflector, and that the damaged reflector itself was not included. When I called Bumper Buddies for clarification, I was told that because I, as the customer, did not specifically request reflector repair, it was not included in the quote even though the dents directly above and below the reflector were included. As a customer, I relied on professionals' expertise to evaluate the photos and provide an accurate estimate. If a major visible part of the damage was not included, that should have been communicated with the customer or clearly stated in the quote rather than assumed to be excluded. It's not unreasonable for customer to expect the communication of "hey, I see your reflector was also damaged, but we cannot fix the reflector itself, but we can fix the dent above and below it". The repair quote may have matched their internal interpretation of the estimate, but it did not match a customer's reasonable expectation based on the photos submitted. During my follow-up call with Nick, he repeatedly stated that it's a "communication error" and the quote did not include reflector replacement because I had not specifically requested it. That explanation raised even more concerns for me. As a customer, I relied on their expertise to identify and quote the visible damage shown in the photos. I should not be expected to name every individual damaged part or anticipate every technical detail in order to receive an accurate quote. If I had the professional knowledge to identify every repair item myself, I likely would not have needed their service in the first place. That is exactly why I turned to them for an estimate. Based on this experience, I would not feel confident on any future estimates from them unless every single item is spelled out in writing beforehand.

Angie was professional and patient trying to fit me in for an estimate during the week. When I arrived for the estimate, Angie greeted me immediately. Without delay, Clay met with me to inspect the damages. I was pleasantly surprised with the cost. Clay also took time to go over the repair process so I had a better understanding of how long the repair would take. Prior to scheduling the repairs, Angie texted me the information on Enterprise Rental. When I returned for the repairs, Clay checked me in and made sure I retrieved any personal belongings I would need. They also sent periodic text updates during the process. Our vehicle was repaired ahead of schedule, and the team made it look like new again. Specifically, I was pleasantly surprised that Clay also had the headlights polished. Angie also conducted a final walkthrough and suggested I return if any issues occur. As a result, I highly recommend Craftsman Collision, and I greatly appreciate the professionalism by Angie and Clay!

This is my first experience with Craftsman and I'm honestly not sure how to feel. On one hand, the…read morefinished product looks absolutely immaculate. I would never be able to tell that someone hit my car, dented it, and scratched it while parked. But on the other hand, I was expecting to get my vehicle back within, I would say, 3 to 5 days, and ended up getting delayed by a little over 2 weeks. Luckily, I'm in a position where I freelance and work from home, so that wasn't too much of an issue, although it still was with errands and such. But a lot of people need to commute, and 2 weeks is a long time to pay for a rental car. I decided against that since even with a discount, it would still be a lot for a rental. So just keep in mind that they do good work, but I do feel that it was quite slow, most likely because, unfortunately, it's a mega service center for insurance companies, so a lot of people get referred here, and so there's a lot of people in the queue in front of you. That said, considering how many people were in the queue in front of me when they were finished with my car, I was impressed with the attention to detail. I didn't feel like I was skimmed over for probably the next 10 people next in the queue. Funnily enough, while this is happening, and other family member's car had an issue where the air conditioning broke. They took it into Pet Boys and got it back faster than I got my car back, but were much less satisfied with the service than I was with Craftsman. So another thing is, as long as the part is still being made, I have a lifetime warranty on the parts and service and paint and everything that was conducted. So that's huge. It almost makes it worth the 2-week wait. I just would have appreciated a bit better communication on why the delays were happening rather than, hey, it looks like it's going to be delayed. Is it delayed because there's a lot of people in front of me? Is it delayed because they're waiting on a part to ship? Because there was multiple delays, and although there's not really much I can do about that, I think you should give the customer a more detailed response explaining why an error has occurred rather than just saying there was an error. The error being the delay. So just know that Craftsman will do a great job, but you might be waiting half a month for your vehicle back.
