I found Caliber Collision on Yelp as a nearby biz when a traffic cone dislodged the heat shield on the bottom of my Honda CRV chassis. They kindly took me in and offered to take a look first thing on a Friday morning with no appointment. A tech hammered out the panel and clipped it back on in less than 20 minutes. They even hammered up a loose part of my bumper as well- and for all this, they charged me NADA! The lobby had delicious AC, water, and coffee and the staff were so lovely and kind. I feel so fortunate that they are so close to me because they have won my business and I will be back on the next occasion. Caliber Collision - Traffic cone dislodged my heat shield - Body Shops Near Me - Long Beach, California

3rd time is the charm! Cut my tuner wire for my EFI live tuner! Cut a water hose from the reservoir because they don't know how to install a window trim! Left me stranded on the road the next day after picking up my vehicle. Repairs are gonna cost me about $8,000 out of pocket to fix because they are not taking accountability! Left my rear view mirror lose and pinched the wire for the onstar/emergency button on the rear view. They forgot to add adhesive to the bottom of the window they installed. Took it to Huntington Beach Chrysler dodge and they are going to fix my vehicle like it was before. Hope AAA drops them from their contract. Unprofessional/unskilled low dollar technicians they have in the back. I saw them nothing but kids working on vehicles. They probably ain't even certified. What a total sham. I have to hunt them down to get attention. Not even a courtesy call! Already reported to the better business bureau and I ain't stopping there! I want this place inspected to make sure everyone in the "technician" side is certified. Chris is the worse piece of human fecal matter. He should be in the back sweeping not doing quality control. If you guys get work here please inspect your vehicle. Make sure all your hardware is installed properly and don't drive that place before checking every inch of your car. Trust me I'm living proof. After they scratched my hood they said "we can paint it for you" hahahaha you guys can't do a simple bumper swap! Yet alone trust you with painting my truck. You gotta be out of your mind. I spent money to destroy my car. That's funny. I could have done it for free! No wonder collision is nation wide. Insurance and them are corrupt working together to take money from Veterans that are on a budget. Should be ashamed of yourselves. I'm not stopping with the BBB report. Got my truck back with the bumper loose and crooked because they used broken clips because they said new ones would take too long. Terrible job at color matching the area they painted. I noticed that the passenger front fascia on my vehicle was dangling as I walked out of the bank. I had no clue if someone hit me or if the bolts just fell out. Anyway, I filed a claim with my insurance company and they sent my claim to this location closer to my work site. Every process from scheduling the estimate through the pickup process was smooth, with the exception of a little delay as my vehicle is co-owned and I think they got a mix up with the names on the claim, but it was all sorted out. My vehicle was estimated to be done by Tues, 11/4/25; however, I received a call this morning that my vehicle would probably be done today, and sure enough, it was! I left work a little early to drop off my rental and pick my car up and upon inspection, it looks perfect and they also washed my car so it was nice and clean! I mainly dealt with Anna Ramos and she was very friendly and provided excellent customer service! I also spoke with another employee and dealt with the estimator initially and both were super friendly and helpful as well. Hopefully I will never have another accident in my life, but if I do, Caliber would be my first choice! read more

I brought my Lexus to this location after a fender bender under insurance. I chose this place based on it being an authorized Lexus collision center and due to good reviews. Since the repairs were covered by insurance I can't comment on the price but I was satisfied overall with the end results. My car was restored to original factory condition. One of the things that really impressed me was the ongoing status updates that I received during the process via text and phone calls. I was kept in the loop each step of the process. Additionally, I liked that I could leave my rental car at Caliber collision once the repair was complete. They coordinated w the rental company on my behalf. I then read reviews on the locations near me and I decided to choose this location. Despite seeing some negative reviews, the postive outweighed. I was able to get an appt 2 days after calling which I thought was great. Everyone was friendly when I came and walked me through the process. Super communicative during the process. I appreciate the text messages to let me know the status. The repair took longer than I would have liked it to, but they were very upfront and honest about how long it would take. They even finished a day early. My car door looks like there was never any damage and I couldnt be more happy. Took the car to caliber since they done prior work to it they gave an estimate, but when we took it in since the transmission was slipping, and the gauges were out, they couldn't do the work rebuilt the tranny fixed electrical issue took it back. They took the car apart And said the frame is damaged where the bumper connects said they couldn't do the work. They're the ones that fix the bumper before they said some other prior damage. Either way we had to pay to get the car put back together to take it elsewhere if I were you, I'd take your car somewhere else. read more

When I went to this location, they did a good job, they paid attention to some details I had missed, and when I had my husband check it afterwards, he said everything was done right. This review is actually for Caliber Auto Glass for the Long Beach, CA area. I would have originally post for Caliber's original point of origin (Lewisville, TX), but that will not be advantageous for my local Yelpers. I just want to say Caliber (Armando T.) did an amazing job. I got the chip on my front windshield a week ago and did some shopping around with the vendors provided by my insurance...decided on Caliber based on previous reviews and it being local and mobile. Armando arrived within 15 minutes after confirming he was on the way and he was done within half hour. During that time, he was very courteous, and communicated well in regards to the process of the chip repair and what needed to be done, along with explaining how repairing a previously repaired chip was not possible and that I would need to keep an eye out because it would eventually required a windshield replacement. I was originally quoted online $75 for the repair and it the chip he fixed was free of cost. I believed it was handled by my insurance. All in all, I would highly recommend Caliber for windshield breaks. From point A of calling in, making an appointment and the actual service. It was a smooth process. read more

When I tell you Anna, is amazing. I MEAN she is amazing!!! The wheel tire arch got caught on a pole and had lifted up. I popped into Caliber for an estimate to fix it. If you want somebody that has TERRIBLE communication skills and could care less about your inconvenience this is the place for you! Would NOT recommend this place. They told me car was done picked it up but had to take it back because they messed up the multimedia system. Took it back same day spent an hour waiting for it but they couldn't repair it. Since I had already taken back my car rental I had to arrange transportation to bring car back another day which I did. Waited all day but NEVER received an update so I finally called them (3:30 pm) to get a status. Was told it SHOULD be done at closing time (5:30 pm) but to wait before picking up car until they called to confirm it was finished. Of course they didn't call so I called again 15 minutes before they closed and was told it was done. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! read more

My parents were rear ended on the freeway and we were recommended to use this Caliber Collision location although it was much further from us. For our estimate and drop off, the staff very very friendly and explained things slowly for my parents who don't speak English perfectly. There was a minor hiccup with the bumper replacement due to supply chain issues which is the norm these days. What was supposed to take a couple days almost took a month to come in. However, Robert was so communicative and kept us updated on every step of the process. They tried to reach out to multiple vendors for us to obtain a replacement bumper we needed. He would call and update me as soon as each step was finished, we're friends now! Really appreciate the amazing service and Robert is the man! He made some magic happen! At South St Long Beach, we were there 30 minutes before closing, our car was not ready yet so we've been waiting for representative. there were other people behind the reception who talk about their customers not knowing me and my husband were still sitting outside waiting. And worst We can smell the weed coming from the Girl at the counter, we're sure it was her, she smoked weed, cause smell was too strong. its legal but not during work hours, you better check yourself! Literally the worse Caliber collision I've ever been to. Chris is not helpful at all and unprofessional. My vehicle was wrecked pretty badly in January 2023, per my insurance I brought it in to this caliber, where I was told "do to previous repairs done on my vehicle, they couldn't repair anything with my vehicle, they then charged me a "deconstructing fee" of $156 that I've never heard of, just to be told they couldn't fix anything or even touch it, which they already did. My vehicle was towed to a different shop where they worked on it with no problem, a Tesla certified shop. When my vehicle was finally repaired, in June of 2023, I noticed my spare tire was missing. I called my shop, where they then called this caliber and found out that they removed my spare tire while deconstructing and did not put it back! They then said to "just come on in" and they'll put it back. I come in to retrieve it and Chris who was in charge of my vehicle when it was here, doesn't communicate and leaves me sitting in the waiting room with no eta as to when he'll be able to assist me as if I'm the one that caused this inconvenience. The front desk person then has to have her manager help, which also has no eta and has me waiting for over 20 minutes. This isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with a Caliber Collision in Long Beach. If your insurance uses them, find any other place! read more

I'm an incredibly busy person so when I had an accident where my door needs to be replaced I was very frustrated and worried that dealing with the insurance company and the rental and the collision center was going to be a hassle. The day started out bad. I was late to my appointment with caliber collision because of work and I had a doctors appointment to get to so I had to reschedule. The lady at the front couldn't be nicer (I forgot her name but she's very nice) She was very accommodating and understood the stress I was under. She helped me find a time to see my rep. When I got my appointment, Ana the service rep. Was super sweet. She reviewed the process with me, we did the walk through of the car together and even gave me a breakdown of the time and repair cost when they came in. The paperwork was a breeze and it took no time at all. Very professional and personable. Caliber also called the rental for me. I was shuttled to the enterprise and my car was already ready.
