We had a code come on and were very worried about it. We went into Prum's last minute and they were very knowledgeable and helpful in every capacity. Unlike other places we went, they were not trying to take our money. They actually helped us fix the problem and explained the situation to us for free. Go here! read more

Thank you to Mr Prum and his team! I called in and spoke w a Jessyca who told me they could fix the aircon in my Tesla which wasn't blowing cold air anymore. This shop is a great dealer alternative. I asked how soon I could get an appointment and they were able to check out my car the following day. I'm glad I was able to find a local family owned shop that offers fair pricing and was able to fix my AC quickly. Thank you so much for all of the help. I'll be scheduling my toyota 4 runner's oil change there next week. read more

Great customer service . Really honest and won't take your money. I take all my cars there and I recommend them to all my friends

I was very impressed in this Auto Repair shop. They gave me a better deal and I had been getting to have some work done on my car. You sent me actual images of the two areas that had to be worked on. He also made sure that he actually knew what I wanted him to do by clarifying. He was on time in the morning and I got my car earlier than I expected. read more

Prum is a fantastic mechanic. He does excellent work and gets work done quickly! He is also very honest and always gives a very fair deal.

Our truck had gotten stuck in LBC as we were in town on vacation from Vegas. Was recommended to Prum's Auto and he was able to squeeze us in on a busy Saturday morning. Mechanics were in constant communication with us throughout servicing our vehicle. We made it back to Vegas after repairs made and were so grateful for the services provided. read more

I had an odd problem with my car - he said he diagnosed it and $800 later, he never bothered to check that it was fixed. I would never take a car to him unless you know what's wrong. So yes I got $800 worth of repairs that didn't need to immediately be done in an old car. Also said he'd repair my headlight out and didn't bother after he said he'd do it. Take your car elsewhere as I am super sad I didn't. read more

The shop is awesome. Fix my truck without a problem. They were solid, honest, and very thorough. My new go to shop.

Mr Prum I called him. Very professional. Very kind. Mr. Prum did work that was not on the work order. He did not have to do that but he did. I would ask all Veterans nearby to look out for this caring business owner and get your car repairs at his auto repair. Sincerely, Noah B read more

I took my car in today to take care of an oil leak and the guys at Prum's Auto Repair took really good care of my car. They were all super nice, helped me understand what I was paying for and my car needed and also advised me on a couple other things I wouldn't have known about. The experience I had with Prum's Auto Repair gave me the trust that I needed to make this a spot that I will go back to in the future. I initially took my car to the dealer for an inspection because I wanted a Nissan specialist to give me the run down of what was causing my leak. Apparently I had a few different leaks and they quoted me for an astronomical quote. So to get a second opinion, I googled Nissan mechanics and this location caught my attention based on proximity to my home, number of reviews and that it wasn't a dealership. The guys know their trade and they are awesome people to work with so I would recommend all my friends and colleagues to go here. Thank you guys! read more

Prum has been my family's mechanic for years. Great service and fair pricing. Even when living out of town I'd try to wait til coming home to get repair work done due high pricing and unnecessary add ons. All the work i've had done by him has never had any problems after getting it fixed. He's the most honest mechanic I've known. 10 out of 10! read more

Mr. Prume has been working on my 1984 Ford Ranger for many years and has always done a fantastic job. He guarantees his work and his prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend Prume's Auto repair for all your automotive needs. read more

I would recommend this shop to anybody I know PRUM is respectful, responsible, and reasonable. In my past experiences with mechanics I have been took advantage of and over charge. PRUM has don't none of that he makes a reasonable price and does the work with 100% efficiencies I have gotten three jobs in total here done. PRUM's take pride in the work they do for example I came in there to get my pulley change and replaced and he noticed I was low on oil and he topped my oil off FOR FREE. Just because it needed to be done. Finding a mechanic you trust is hard I know but you can trust this place 100%. read more

I looked up local places my mom could get her air conditioner recharged and suspension replaced at the same shop. Called in the morning they said drop it off on the way to work and we can pick it up after. Super affordable pricing, I will definitely be coming back for future repairs and maintenance on our cars. read more

I Don't recommend this place. I paid prum up front for the estimated repairs on my vehicle but instead of for filling his duties as a prominent and certified mechanic he totally dropped the ball. If I could give him a zero star instead, and he was recommended by someone who does business with him also. Last but not least, I met a older Hispanic guy who had a negative encounter with this guy prum. read more

I brought in my car for routine maintenance. Prum's was honest, reasonably priced, and communicative.

This shop is amazing! Honest and delivers excellent customer service. I have brought multiple cars there and they always can help fix the problem. This review is overdue. I take all my car issues to this shop. Last time, my AC and suspension went out on my range rover. I got 2 other quotes from a range rover specialist. They were too high. Mr. Prum took care of me for a fair price and in record time. They know what they're doing and they're Honest. Do yourself a favor, get a quote from other shop 1st, then take your car to Mr. Prum. You can thank me later. read more

My 1991 Aerostar van kept dying after bringing it to multiple mechanics who misdiagnosed and "fixed the problem". I was at my wits end, about to give up on my car when I discovered Prum! He immediately eased my worries and told me he'd do whatever it took to fix my car! He stuck to his word and finally fixed the issue, I'm so thankful to find an honest mechanic that charges very reasonable prices. He even connected my to a rental car while he was working on my car. AMAZING service!!! Thank you so much read more

If your car has an issue, I would give these guys a call. They did a bunch of suspension work on my van and gave me a quote far lower than 2 other mechanics had given me. Prum is an honest guy. He will tell you what needs to get dont and what can wait a little longer if your short on money. I think I've found the guy that I can take vehicles to forever read more

This place is awesome and gets the job done! I was recommended by my friend to bring my car here when I was having ignition problems where it wouldn't start and sometimes my car wouldn't turn off because it would get stuck. At first I called out to the dealership for my car and they wanted to charge me 1000+! So glad I came here because they were able to save me money. They keep you updated during the process and let you know what's going on. I would definitely recommend my friends and family and come again with any further issues! read more

I had a huge emergency my brakes went out and the rotors were grinding metal shavings. I pulled up to a nearby auto shop and they agreed to do the job. 1 hr later the shop calls me and say they have to do it another day. I took my car back and stumbled across Prums Auto. He gave me a good quote and took me in last min no appointment necessary. They close at 5pm and he stayed after hours til it was finished. I got my car back and am satisfied. I had my car serviced here at Prums Auto Repair. It was for a G2 sensor. Before I came here, I had gotten a quote from the dealer. And let me tell you it was outrageous just to fix it. Prum's took the initiative to give me a decent quote that was not pocket breaking. On top of that, he is a very down to earth type of man. He's very reliable and persistent about his word. Let's just say my family and I are now his customers and will continue to support his business. Also, I will relay as much people to help support his business because he did such an amazing job. Brought in my 2006 Lexus gs300 for a transmission rebuild. They handled it fast and efficiently. Spoke with Nick and Prum . Again thank you guys, the car is running smooth and shifting like butter through gears. Honest small shop will definitely try them for my other cars . read more

I took my 2012 BMW there because my lights were malfunctioning and my drivers door would not lock with the remote he took all day with my car and when i finlly talked to him he said i needed a new battery and new headlights and he said he fixed the door lock and put the battery in and he said he needed to put in all the right codes because whwn the battery was changed it put my car in transpertaion mode he said in two days when he had the new headlights bulbs he would get it out of transportation mode, well i took the car back and then he told me i needed to fo tto pick-a-part and get a rear tale light cercite boared and i told him that was never mentioned when i came and pick my car up , he ended up taking off $90.00 for the headlight so i ended up paying $250.00 for a battery and #162.00 for labor and he refused to finish the job and take it out of transportation mode which it was only in that mode because he got it in that mode when he changed the battery . read more

Sometimes crappy circumstances yield you with unexpected gold. My car was overheating, and...it wasn't good news. The mobile mechanic who helped me at first (and had the patience of a saint) fowarded me to Prum's to help me with what turned out to be a blown head gasket. Prum's explained everything, and they advised replacing the engine, as they uncovered evidence of some former botched repairs. It only took a few days...the car drives better than when I got it, better mileage...and it was delivered washed. These guys are truly partners for car ownership...and consult options, and walk you through everything. i can't say enough good stuff, as I've had some really, really, really, really dishonest and crappy mechanic relationships. It IS a relationship. One of trust and value. Customer for life. These guys are great. Solid mechanics with character. RARE. read more

Prum ia an honest, do whatever it takes to get the job done kind a mechanic. I brought my Range Rover and he went above and beyond to solve a difficult problem. I am a car guy with five different makes. I would not hesitate to bring any one of my cars to Prum. Thank you Prum! read more

A longtime Long Beach resident recommended Prum and I couldn't be more satisfied with his integrity and quality. He blows away the competition entirely by going above and beyond what average Joes would provide. At the absolute best price, he will fix what is wrong with the vehicle, and checks with clients if any other issues arise. I'd even offer to prepay for services because I am certain that my car is in the best hands. When I arrived to pick up my car, he was diagnosing another vehicle the same way that I DO IT: by listening to motor and observing it with care and attention. You can tell by his demeanor, that he works with purpose and respect for the craft of mechanical maintenance. An utmost honest, reliable and friendly mechanic. He really had me feeling like he treated me as his own daughter, and I've barely chatted with him a handful of times. read more
