    Ice cream flavors

I didn't expect to see the sights I saw here at Plaskos, I only stopped in for some ice cream. Turns out that's have a lot more than just that, including a cafe behind their creamery/bakery. It was super cute, wooden beaming and interior and even a fireplace. Wish I had found this place sooner. I got a small heavenly hazelnut scoop of their ice cream which isn't small at all. I had it topped off with the fluffiest whipped cream I've ever had. They let me try a few flavors before I made my final flavor decision which was super awesome of them. Everyone was super friendly and inviting here. I went and took a look around their farm while I ate my ice cream and saw that they had two donkeys located near where their corn maze usually is. Everything here was such a great experience and I know I'll for sure be back there. Most especially because of how big my "small" scoop of ice cream was for just six dollars. Can't be beat. Thank you Plaskos !

I was really looking forward to trying the Apple Cider Boat Sundae and asked before ordering if it was still available. The staff said yes and asked if I wanted two or three scoops, I chose two. When it came out, though, it was served more like a float rather than the sundae I expected. When I went back to ask, they explained that it's only served in the "boat" form with three scoops. I wish that had been mentioned when ordering, as I would have opted for that instead. The presentation made it a bit tricky to eat with the donut wedged in the middle of the cup, and the caramel-to-ice-cream ratio was a little off.

A must visit when you're in the area! Plasko's is the last operating farm in Trumbull and has become a great stop any time of the year. In the fall, they have a corn maze, Christmas trees for the holidays as well as other events. They also have a cafe that opens in the morning for coffee and baked goods. We stopped by in the summer for their homemade ice cream. There was a line, but it moved quickly and gave us time to read the large menu. Various sundaes as well as pints are available. We decided on cones with cherry vanilla and bananarama flavors. Both were super creamy and well balanced. Perfect on a hot, summer day!

Cold brew with Vanilla Cold Foam

Two years ago, a Food Blogger friend told me Plasko has the best cold foam for coffee. It was such a specific claim that it stuck with me, even though I live an hour away. I was looking for a new coffee spot near Route 15 for my trip to Met Life Stadium and Plasko stood out as the best option for my needs. Plasko is in a red barn looking structure. As you enter, you'll see light colored woods and a vaulted ceiling. I get the feeling that Plasko does a number of things, but this review is just based on a large Cold Brew with Vanilla Cold Foam, and a cheddar chive scone. As my friend said, Plasko's cold foam was one of the best I've had. Good flavor. Good thickness. It didn't disappear into the dark coffee abyss too quickly. The coffee itself was good: Smooth. Rich. A good coffee to match with sweet cold foam. My scone was decent. It wasn't too dry, but it wasn't one of the more flavorful savory scones I've had either. In general, the available baked goods looked pretty good. 4.25 Stars. I would return if I was in the area, but I wouldn't make a special trip to Plasko.

Stopped here on a whim and I'm so happy that we did! I've heard of Plasko Farms for years, and I can see why it's so popular. The cafe area was adorable, and there were so many delicious looking treats to choose from. I enjoyed hot chocolate and Bundt cake, and my husband took a walk to the ice cream shop side and got a scoop of black raspberry chocolate chunk. We really enjoyed the flavor, and it was so creamy! They had some really unique ice cream flavors, and we can't wait to come back in the summer to try more. Such a wholesome spot!

Woah! This place is super cool. I only tried the cafe but their option to get an ice cream scoop and make a latte with it is something I have never seen before. The latte was super good, I used the coffee oreo flavored ice cream. The inside is so nice, great reading spot with outlets, I love all the natural wood. Highly recommend coming here!

This is a really nice homemade ice cream/ cafe/ farm! They have tons of flavors ice cream to choose from. Some are very unique. Texture of the ice cream is creamy. Scoop size is relatively small. I got sundae with two scoops but looked like one scoop. Whipped cream is soooo good! Homemade whipped cream is the best! Fudge is good but only a tiny little bit on the side of my sundae. The salted caramel cookie is amazing. Overall, service was pleasant. Fast and efficient. The only complaint was the scoop size, way too small and not enough fudge. Lots of outside seatings, some tented picnic tables and benches. There's a cafe inside too!

If you're on the hunt for a traditional French bakery with authentic French and European pastries, desserts, and breads, you will happily walk out of here with a bag of wonderful goodies. When you walk in, you'll come across a tempting display case piled high with their baked goods. I saw platters of croissants of every description! Plain, Chocolate, Choc/Raspberry, Almond, Almond/Choc, Croissant Donuts and Croissant donut holes. But wait there's more! Brioches, chocolate Plies, Pinwheels, fruit turnovers, Cinnamon Rolls, Coffee Cakes, Danishes, Beignets, Scones, Fruit Tarts, Palmiers. The list goes on and on and I haven't even gotten to their cookies, macarons, baguettes, rolls, challah, cakes, quiches, and sandwiches. Seriously, you can have three meals a day here for a month and never duplicate anything. When I walked in, the dining room was pretty busy with customers enjoying a late lunch. The ordering line for baked goods was around five deep, which gave me plenty of time to check out the goods. I ended up with a nice assortment of a chocolate croissant, a chocolate Plie, a fruit turnover, donuts, and a fruit pie. We had some of the goodies last night and a bit more for breakfast today. The chocolate plié was amazing, and honestly, everything we've tried so far has been great. Easy FIVE STARS, n'est-ce pas?
