My first time visiting Tabitha's in Fairfield -the place was cute, seemed very family friendly. -there were a lot of good dessert options. -prices were WAY too high for the quality and type of desserts. -no sampling flavors -service was ok, owner was kind of blunt to us and didn't seem too welcoming, worker was fine I paid $21 for a chocolate sundae and coconut shake. 3 stars for the hospitality of owner and crazy prices for basic desserts.

My first time at Tabitha's and it is a GREAT spot! Easy to find - it's next door to Sally's Apizza on Commerce. Family owned and family run business - I let them know it was my first time and they gave me the full run down on their standard flavors, special flavors, recommendations, and fan favorites! Extremely friendly service and helpful - I decided to go with a small Cookie Monster ice cream with brownie chip hard ice cream. The brownie chip ice cream is a milk chocolate ice cream base infused with thick, soft-baked brownies. It was BONKERS EXCELLENT! The Cookie Monster consisted of crumbled Oreos, chocolate chip cookies, and chocolate chips with your choice of ice cream flavor. It was alchemy! What a great bite to this ice cream if you have a sweet tooth. I didn't have much time today, but I plan on trying their high end root beer sealed in wax next visit. The decor was awesome - any kid would love this place - including big ones like me! Give Tabitha's Ice Cream a try - it's actually the real deal - not a hyped up fugazi ice cream like their neighbors Milkcraft.

Made a quick spot for ice cream and I already can't wait to come back! Service is great - everybody is so nice! They do give samples, and the decor is so unique. I got the Espresso Ripple Bean ice cream and it was so good - my favorite part was the chocolate covered espresso beans. Can't wait to come back and would highly recommend!

The origins of the store's name!

Great flavors and atmosphere. We tried a very popular place in Bridgeport first but this place is way better.

The ice cream is to die for. But looks deserted around closing time and I don't mean THE dessert. Could add some customers or workers

We had a couple of cups, one with Oreo and another with their "beez neez" which had bits of honeycomb in it.

Love how he gives college kids (or high school) the opportunity to work. That's so awesome. Who doesn't want to support giving back and building community? Love coming here when in Black Rock. Re: other reviewer who lived in Black Rock but didn't know it existed and thought it was unclean. First of all, what bots don't notice their surroundings? Sadly, a lot of people these days which kinda makes me moderately ok with the control system. If you're a fool, control is a positive thing. Secondly, yes, Timothy's is funky and old and mismatched and whatever. Who cares?! Dumb Milkcraft is sparkling clean and that's not a place I'm likely to return to ever again. You go to Timothy's for good old fashioned ice cream - not the pristine surroundings - and I personally appreciate the funky. The reviewer best not go to several Black Rock food places that have felines roaming inside (adding to their funky charm). :-). Oh my!

Freezing moo has tons of flavor combinations which can be a bit daunting at first. We got the chocolate cherry and green tea lychee which were both delicious. It looks like they only offer one size, which is $7.50 and includes three toppings. This is a more expensive experience but worth it. The staff here is very friendly and pay attention to the customers and are willing to explain this unique ice cream process for people trying this for the first time. One of the employees explained that this is a chain that started out in Kansas but this is their first Connecticut location. Hoping they are able to expand!
