Great customer service, great toppings and ice cream. A little pricey, but they all are in town. I would definitely go back and recommend them. Nice small business owner. Soft serve, hard, candy. They have it all.

Entree through the front door and order at the counter! They have over 24 flavors of soft serve, YES 24, some interesting flavors included, creme de menthe, apricot, blackberry, rum etc! I ordered a blackberry in one of their hand made waffle cones, my father ordered one in a regular cone. The man behind the counter was super friendly and said he was going to try to stay open as long as possible depending on the incoming weather during the upcoming season. There were also a bunch of hard ice cream flavors you could choose from. Total came out to approx $8 and I paid with Visa (5$ card min) plastic was put up separating the customer and the employer due to covid as well as wall in one way out the other! Felt very safe going in and getting the ice cream to enjoy on the go. The waffle cone was freaking delicious and the ice cream was sweet and tasty! Keep up the good work Uncle Al's!

Uncle Al's is located in Monroe. They are where the old Mike's was. And they are not bad. I've been in a few times. The ice cream is pretty good. It does not seem as busy as Mike's was but maybe people don't yet know they are there. It seems nice and has pretty much the same type of layout. And it beats Dairy Queen. The thing is I have been getting into creameries in a big way. So I have been drawn to places like Plasco and Ferris Acres. But there is not anything wrong with Al's. They seem to always be opened and they have a variety of flavors. The ice cream itself is tasty. They have Brownies to but they are the kind that are store bought already packaged, not homemade or anything which was a let down. Since Plasco does offer more variety in terms of other products (donuts, Brownies etc) I prefer them but that being said, Al's is centrally located in Monroe and their location is irresistable. Parking is fairly easy here as well. It's also good to see another ice cream place in Monroe.

Let's see Dr. mikes changed hands and now to uncle Al's ice cream. They have 24 soft serve flavors and maybe 16-20 hard ice cream flavors. They toppings are a bizarre 79 cents each (random and high), seems like random amounts for simple sprinkles. I came here ordered 2 ice creams, they did not ask the size of the cup, they just gave me a random size. Next time you should ask. Customer service, is lacking in this place. There were two girls in blue shirts and a guy who did not say anything. The placement of the equipment is very disorganized and seems like their are a lot of wasted space in this shop. As you can see from the photos their is a whole area that is devoted to candy and not being utilized. They had no sundaes available but they had them on display, not sure why you would put them out if they are not for order. They have a candy display on the side and it's 2.49$ for 1/4 a pound kind of pricy, cheaper to just go to the grocery store. I'm pretty sure you can go across the street to rite aid and find cheaper candy prices.

This place is Very Expensive. Go to Ferris Acres in Newtown. It will be cheaper for a lot more and better ice cream.

Uncle Al's is a local ice cream shop. They serve Hershey's- it's very good. The owner, Al, is friendly. Servings are generous.

We arrived in the afternoon around 3 and there was a pretty decent line. It goes by quick though. I went with a large, and chose German Chocolate Brownie and Butter Pecan as my choices. My Brother got a small and went with Raspberry. Reasonably priced for fresh, made daily, ice cream. Like $15.00 total, maybe a little less. Oh yeah, they had a sign up for home made apple cider donuts. Had to get one of those, too! How was everything? GREAT! German Chocolate Brownie/Butter Pecan- They pile the scoops high! Very large portion size, and I loved it. Great rich chocolate ice cream with chewy brownie pieces in it and some caramel. So good! I had that one on top and then my butter pecan down below. The butter pecan was delicious as well. Not too buttery, and it had crunchy pecans in it (I hate when you get an old batch of butter pecan and the nuts are soft/chewy...yuck!). I was in heaven! I tried some of my Brother's raspberry and that was delicious as well. Fresh, light, great Summer flavor! Apple Cider Donut- This was good as well! Soft with a good chew, topped with a lot of cinnamon sugar. Really solid donut to go with the ice cream! Happy I got one! Glad we stopped here. The setting is awesome, right on the dairy farm! Great ice cream and donuts. What a neat spot! Would be back often if I lived in the area.

We were greeted with quick, friendly service. My daughter was thrilled with her waffle bowl (though to be fair, she's pretty easy to please when sugar is involved). I didn't want to look at the menu, so I stuck with a classic vanilla on a sugar cone simple and generously scooped. The prices are super reasonable, and they even have a little enclosed patio to enjoy your treat if you want to linger. Truth be told, I don't care for ice cream much, but seeing my kid so happy made the stop totally worth it. She gives it two thumbs up and that's all that really matters!

Although there was a line, it also moved quickly! From traditional scoops, to loaded banana splits, milkshakes and even nostalgic ice cream truck favorites I was impressed with the wide selection offered. The outdoor seating made for a vibrant and fun experience for an ice cream shop and we could tell there were many regulars in the crowd. We all enjoyed our cones and it's awesome to know this great spot is on the area.
