I'm there at least once a month. The food is exceptional, and the staff never cease to go above and beyond. Never had a disappointing visit. I highly recommend Focaccia's. Dennis Bollier, Founder, Employee Health Matters, LLC read more

Best egg sandwich for many reasons. Both the bread and bagel were soft and fresh. Eggs were cooked to perfection with soft, gooey centers. Best part, not greasy! Easy on and off location. I ordered online for myself and a friend and immediately received an email with a time that my order would be ready for pick up. I had already paid, so I thought it would be a quick curbside pickup. Not so. I arrived 15 minutes late and they had not even started my order yet! I went inside and waited while they made it. As they handed it to me, I asked if it included silverware and napkins. She said "I think so". I said that we were not going to eat with our hands, so I needed her to confirm that we DID have silverware. We didn't. She added it. I left and took the order to go, only to learn later (at my destination) that the order was incorrect. My friend was not at all surprised, as she had a similar experience very recently. read more

Crepes are tasty (one of the few places to get crepes), workers seem friendly, and price is good. I have been here twice, both times took a while to get food. They also run out of options, 1st time no crepes and 2nd time no plain bagels. Seems like there may be some quicker to prepare options or you can place your order to pickup. read more

Today the sirloin steak panini on herb bread was a winner. The chicken panini was also a good recommendation. The ambient noise is quieter than the average Panera Bread - which makes Focaccia's a good place to bring your laptop & get some work done during your meal. read more

Focaccias Cafe and Catery is a great place to have little catering done . They do a great fresh salad bar with all the fixings. We also had small pannies that were filled with steak and cheese, grilled chicken fresh mozzarella and tomatoes, and an amazing turkey avocado. The tuna salad was out of this world, and the house made raspberry vingerette was amazing. We also had a taco and fajita bar with all the fixings. The chicken was cooked amazing and the beef had a great flavor. If you are looking for something special, they are also very accommodating with making it for you. I would definitely order from them again read more

Great service! Lovely cashier, I wish I got her name, she took my allergen serious and made sure it was dairy free. Very delicious drinks, I signed up with their rewards program and for two drinks was about $9 for a coffee and vanilla chai. read more

Cute little cafe! I enjoyed my breakfast sandwich so much I came back the next day and got another. Only downside is the menu seems to be pretty limited for breakfast. I would have liked maybe a fruit cup or yogurt to go with my sandwich but they didn't have anything like that. Still delicious, and will definitely be back to try their specialty coffee, and maybe something on the lunch menu. read more

I ordered the Southwestern Chicken Cobb salad for lunch while we were passing through Shelton and it hit the spot. All the ingredients were fresh and crisp, which is a big plus in my book! I asked for no egg, but I received egg, which is no big deal, I took it off. I don't think the man at the cash register could hear me well through the plexiglass because I said southwestern chicken Cobb salad about 3 times and he kept saying chicken Cobb sandwich. Just a mix up, because I received the salad! The only thing I wish would be for the chicken to be warm on the salad. It was cold, which I don't particularly care for. Would definitely stop by here again! read more

During my visit from out of state, I unfortunately became ill with a fever. I was craving some healthy, nourishing vegan food, and that is not easy to come by. A family member found Focaccia's and picked up takeout. I ordered the Vegan Buddha Bowl, and it was just what I needed. The bowl featured a colorful mix of quinoa, avocado, roasted sweet potatoes, edamame, chickpeas, baby kale, and baby spinach, all drizzled with tahini dressing. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, the portion size was enough for 2-3 servings, and it truly helped me feel better. I highly recommend Foccacia's for anyone seeking high-quality, comforting, fresh food. read more

I love the menu and how there are a lot of gluten free options. I ordered the Greek salad without feta. I think they have stopped giving the house made chips because nothing came with my salad. They're very accommodating if you want to make changes to what's on the menu. My husband wanted a buffalo chicken sandwich and they were able to change the focaccia chicken sandwich into a buffalo one. But the sandwich also doesn't come with any chips. read more

Comparable to panera bread, with panera being a little better in the soup department. It's a little expensive for what it is. The broccoli cheddar soup from here had potatoes in it and lacked flavor. The sandwiches are average with paninis being on sub bread. The highlight was the jalapeño sub, it was spicy and crusty from the panini press which was nice, otherwise my turkey siracha sandwich was just ok. read more

The food is delicious and well-proportioned. I definitely will order from this restaurant again.

I was not much of a bakery person as I don't eat a lot of croissants and stuff. One day randomly I happened to try out this place and I really liked everything I had like Croissants (almond one is my favorite) and Onion bagel. I did not like the Nutella crepe I got as it was mostly soggy. I don't know whether crepes are meant to be that way as I never tried those before. But this one day made me a fan of their place. I became a regular visitor to the place now. Their customer service is great, overall it's a really good place if you are looking for a quick bite. read more

This is a great place to eat. I have only been here once but want to come back here again soon. They have all sorts of yummy things And they are good in particular, for breakfast and lunch. They are located in Shelton and are near Outback Steakhouse. The Atmosphere inside is very inviting and warm. Although some reviewers on here have compared it to Panera, l actually like the food here much more. Check them out if you are in the area. read more

Delicious! Skip the Panera across the street and come over here instead. Reasonably priced and huge portions! I ordered their equivalent of a 'you pick two' with a Greek salad and their seasonal pumpkin soup. It came with a small piece of focaccia bread and a bowl of house made chips as well. Every single bite of all of it was phenomenal!! I loved that the Greek salad is a true one as well - right down to the stuffed grape leaves on top. These guys know what they're doing!! A bit of comic relief - when I asked the woman at the counter which soups were vegetarian she suggested chicken noodle. Good laugh, but otherwise great and friendly service. Stop by for lunch if you're in the area! read more

We came by for the first time yesterday to get a coffee & check things out. It did have a Panera vibe, like someone else mentioned. My coffee was fine. I chose a small caramel macchiato with non-fat milk, I thought $4.50 for a small was really pricy, especially since it wasn't super good. We came back this Morning for breakfast & because it wasn't busy, decided to eat in. We each ordered a crepe & OJ plus a small iced vanilla chai. While looking for a place to sit, we avoided several of the tables due to dead bugs on the windowsill right next to where you sit and food crumbs all over the tables. Not appetizing. Our crepes *looked* good. They tasted decent, although my strawberries were really mushy & bland. My chai was flavorful & I enjoyed it-- but there were two flies we were swatting at throughout our meal. Within an hour both of us had crampy stomachs & felt terrible. We have no desire to go back. read more

I do not give out 5 stars easily. I save them for places that go over and above. This place deserves that fifth star! The food is delicious, but the customer service takes this place to the next level. When something went wrong, that wasn't their fault or responsibility, they went above and beyond to make things right. I had the blackened steak sandwich on herb-crusted bread. The bread was excellent it was full of meat with the pleasant support of blue cheese and some lettuce tomato and peppers. read more

How do you take a decent little cafe with solid food that is maybe a step up from Panera and then make me not want to go back? Service service service. Oh, the person who took my order was fine. It was in the evening, about an hour from closing. She was pleasant though. But the backstaff -- the ones who make your sandwich -- showed a disinterest in me. They took a while first off. Fine. Then she was eating her OWN dinner right next to where my sandwich was being made. Using a fork, chewing it. No attempt to hide it. Then when another staff person pointed to me that I was still waiting for my order after nearly 10 minutes (and no one else to take care of), the other staff person just shrugged like "He'll get the food eventually...." I'm sure they didn't see that I could see, but I did see and that tells me all I need to know. Which is a shame, because I could be talking about this as an alternative if you wanted to get a sandwich. The panini I had was chock full of tasty ingredients. But if the servers don't care about their customers, it's not important for me to care about them either. read more

We stopped by here on a long road trip. This is a good short pit stop option with decent sandwiches. The place wasn't super clean, or maintained well. But the bread was fresh ! The one gripe I had with the food was the mushrooms they put into the salad were RAW! I hope staff take care in cooking mushrooms rather than throwing in raw mushrooms into a salad! read more

Food is NOT good. Ordered a shrimp and corn chowder soup and Thai salad. Soup was luke warm and looked like it was sitting out for 10 minutes. Thai salad was basically a garden salad with balsamic. Huge chunks of chicken in it. Not pleasing looking. Was not unique and interesting like you'd imagine a Thai salad. I sent it back and asked for a turkey panini. Smothered in sauce and unmelted cheese. So rich. Barely any avocado on it and little lettuce. Would definitely not be back. Gross food. Oh and bathroom was a pigsty. You can tell a lot about an establishment especially in food service based on their restrooms. read more

They have the best coffee! Service is always with a smile from Lilly. A true hidden gem in Shelton!

Although I have ordered their salads and like them, I am very disappointed in the size of the soup. When ordering a bowl at $5.99, you expect at least 16 oz, not here you only get 12 0z, which is usually a cup. Also, the flavor of the loaded potato soup is very tart, almost bad sour cream taste. read more

The Focaccia's Salmon Crepe contains cheese, tomato, and tartar sauce. The cheese was not fully melted and the salmon was rather tough. The buckwheat crepe itself tasted rather bad. Maybe it just needed a minute more on the heat? I really hate wasting food but after eating a fourth of it, I found the rest unpalatable. Eating the smoked salmon by itself was too salty so I considered asking the lady at the counter to microwave the crepe to see if it would taste better with the cheese melted. But I decided against it. Maybe this combination tastes better as a croissant? This is a little disappointing considering I woke up early to come here shortly after 7am on a weekday to try this breakfast place. The service is friendly though. read more

Today I went to this deli after not being able to go there for a couple years. In the past I have enjoyed sandwiches and salads. Today I was in Shelton so I thought I would stop by. What a mistake! . I ordered a turkey sandwich that comes with lettuce, tomato and cheddar cheese and asked to add mayo and mustard salt and pepper. When the sandwich was delivered I got a tiny bit of turkey in a small asiago cheese roll with no lettuce no tomato no cheese. nothing but the turkey which was skimpy. . What a disappointment. I certainly could've gotten a much better sandwich anywhere else including Subway which is saying a lot because I do not go to Subway. This was not worth it at all. I paid almost $10 for this "full" sandwich. It was so tiny!!! Save your money! read more

Stopped on my way out of town for a quick bite... as I walked in I noticed the interiors are so much like Panera bread and so is the menu - soup, sandwiches, panini, bagels, croissants, muffins and in addition they have crepes made to order. We ordered the nutella crepes they came out a lil underdone and soggy.... didn't particularly like it... it would have been nice if it was done well. The croissants with homemade jam on the other hand was really delicious... warm buttery n flaky paired with a good cup of coffee. The worst of all was the pistachio muffin ... it looked so good but had so much artificial flavoring instead of the real stuff... I trashed it after just one bite. The prices were not that high and the service was good... but I will not be returning anytime soon...unless I want more croissants while I'm in the area. read more

The food tastes great. The problem is the portion size. Literally half of my sandwich had no meat just bread. The last time I ordered it was the same thing. Basically just bread. The other problem is they don't read the special instructions. If they fix these two things, they'd be 10stars because the flavor profile is definitely there. read more

Came in to redeem my birthday coupon for a free dulce de leche crepe and wound up ordering a vanilla chai latte to go with it by the suggestion of the cashier helping me with my order. Sorry I didn't take a photo of the crepe which was DELICIOUS, but both it and the latte were SO GOOD that I couldn't stop to take the pics! Needless to say, the atmosphere matched the goodness of the food. The cashier was very friendly and professional, making this a very special experience considering the impromptu dining in! Will definitely be back to explore more on their menu! Note the empty cup in my pic! Nuff said! read more

I stay at the hotel nearby for work every week and will come by here at least once, if not twice. It is definitely similar to a Panera (there is one in the area), but I find this cafe to have fresher ingredients and better paninis/salads. I always get the 1/2 of the veggie panini on the jalapeno cheddar bread with the 1/2 of the greek salad. The bread they bake on-site is very good and their greek salad is very refreshing. We also love the chips they make on-site. I have found their soup to be so-so, having tried the french onion a couple times (has been too sweet for my taste). I've never tried their breakfast here but it looks pretty good. My coworkers also really enjoy this place and have found it to be a solid go-to in the area. Would recommend. read more

Stoped by for a quick lunch and decided to give a review. The food is always great here. Service is great as well. A large menu with fresh products and delicious breads to choose from. Today I had the "Focaccia's Chicken Panini" on Asiago Cheese Panini. It was flavorful, hot (temperature), and freshly made. The young lady who helped me was polite, and they brought my sandwich out to me. It's a great alternative to going to fast food because these are served fast. I spent $12.00 on lunch. That's a sandwich and a drink (Iced Tea) so I thought it was slightly high as far as pricing goes but that's what may be expected for fresh and delicious products in this area of Shelton read more

I am so grateful for this cafe. They offer family meals for delivery or pickup, which has been a lifesaver for me on some nights. However, nothing beats the in-person experience when you go in and your treated like family. I am in love with their Vanilla chai latte and I have them add a shot of espresso. Decided to give this place a try went there last Monday. Very good onion soup. My aunt ordered a vegetable Panini. It had no vegetables in it just sliced tomato and lettuce? Vegetable Panini's are usually full of different vegetables like onions eggplant peppers different squashes you know vegetables not lettuce and tomato only. I really feel they should put vegetables in their vegetable Panini. Also people were coming into the café and ordering without masks. The staff wore masks but when people were entering the Café they didn't have any on and no one said anything. It's a state law you have to wear a mask while you're inside ordering and can take it off when your dining. read more
