Fabulous food and drinks! My husband and I were passing thru the area on a business trip last week and stopped at Plan B for dinner and drinks. We loved the shrimp appetizers. I ordered the Ale battered fish dinner and it was quite possibly the best-tasting fish I have ever eaten, the menu described it as a fresh north Atlantic haddock filet...never frozen! I enjoyed a well-made martini and my husband was pleased with the beer selection and his steak dinner as well. We shared a chocolate bread pudding with bourbon caramel sauce for dessert. Yum! The service was great, the bartender fun to talk to. We commented that if we lived closer than 6 states away, Plan B would be our regular place to go to ... in a heartbeat! read more

Great atmosphere- the pool table and dart boards make it an awesome spot to hang out at. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and personable as well. We live down the street, but had never been here. I'd seen some specials on FB, and they looked interesting, but wasn't sure because the places here before this were a little sketchy. I'd like to say we were pleasantly surprised... but that would be a severe understatement. Everything was absolutely delicious. We had $5 chicken quesadilla rolls, which we weren't expecting much from. Kind of thought they'd be frozen taquitos. No. They were cheesy, spicy yumminess with an amazing crunch. The filling was wrapped in a flour tortilla, not a weird, fake wrapper. My husband had short rib sliders, which were great. I had fish and chips and it was crispy and fresh. I also like that they offer smaller sizes of dishes. I had the smaller portion and it was perfect. The star was the Mac and cheese. I'm so picky about Mac and cheese, because I think mine is best, wink, but this blew every other Mac and cheese out of the water. It was insane. The chef came and talked to us and brought us a sample of their venison chili, which will be featured on their upcoming menu revamp. Can't wait to try it, because we are coming back again and again for the unpretentious atmosphere, friendly service, and spectacular food. Seriously impressed. I've eaten here twice and the food is fantastic! We have had a few different sandwiches and the burger, chicken fingers, pretzels, and the bread pudding. Everything we are was outstanding! All of the ingredients are very fresh and delicious. The service has been great too! The prices are very reasonable as well. We will definitely be back soon. read more

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere, albeit quiet and slow, was nothing short of hometown friendly. Our sever, who was doubling as the barman, came over to the seat we chose and got our drink order promptly. Shortly afterward, he returned for our food order and proceeded to answer many of our questions about the area. My wife and I ordered burgers. I ordered the morning after burger which turned out to be a carefully crafted buffet of individual flavors that melted together to form a delicious bite each and every time. Last but certainly not least came the chocolate bread pudding; delicious and perfect, until I had finished it all. The entire experience was as you would want it to be every time you dine out. The blind date was horrific fortunately the food was amazing! And I don't tend to give five stars. The insane date got the NY strip that was melt in your mouth tender served with the most incredible Brussel sprouts ever. My burger (the ultimate burger) was perfectly cooked but even better was coleslaw (which normally I hate!). The proprietor/waiter was funny and charming. But the frosting on the cake was the warm bread pudding. (Drool). This place should not be passed up. read more

What a great find! The head bartender Steve was the nicest and most accommodating bartender I've ever encountered. A friend and I sat at the bar and we were working on her law school paper (I know, who does homework at a bar and drinking beers?) and needed a plug to charge her lap top, but no outlets were around us. Steve went above and beyond by actually finding an extension cord that we could use! The food was delicious loved the pumpkin beer they offered. P.s. the kitchen closes at 10 and we orded food at 9:58 not knowing they were both about to stop serving. Steve kept the kitchen open for us and was sincere in saying that it wasn't a problem. Plan B has the cozy hometown bar feel good for a night out with friends. We will definitely be back soon! read more

Had the express lunch on Wednesday, chicken, bacon, ranch pita and it was delicious. Very tasty and big with a generous side of perfect French fries, with a beer for $10. Can't beat that. Also had a great mix of craft beers and imports. One of the few true pubs in Rockland. Will definitely be coming back here to eat and/or have drinks. read more

We happened on this place on an recent early afternoon Had the BEST lobster role this side of Cape Cod!

Went there last night. It took the waitress 20 minutes to bring out drink orders. The $9 potato skin appetizers came, there were only 3! The menu clearly states that a 1/2 order of wings is a quantity of 7, when they came out, there were only 6. Trivial maybe, but when I questioned the waitress she said the cook said "it's only 7 on wing night" WTF!!!! The ladies room was DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!! There was only 3 squares of toilet paper in the whole place, one of the toilets was totally clogged and the floor was filthy. Service totally sucked and there were only two other tables besides us. I don't think there were more than 5 people at the bar so there isn't any excuse. The "big ass burger" didn't satisfy my 9 yr old grandson. This place is clearly doomed, if there is an owner on site, he should be ashamed, and if there isn't, I highly recommend he get his butt down there and see whats going on. Plan B shouldn't even be Plan Z. Never again!!!! read more
