Despite the intermittent country music, this place was a savior for some great food after a late plane ride in. They were a bit understaffed and the guy was great about it. The hot Buffalo Wings were spicy but still great dry rub underneath - some of the best I've ever had.

We stumbled upon this little funky bar/restaurant driving back to Virginia from a visit up north. We planned on going to Warwick, but the spot we wanted to go was closed, so this was literally our Plan B. We needed to ease nature, and we were suffering - so it was appropriate that we stopped in Suffren NY. We breezed into this somewhat dingy little joint and grabbed a hamburger and a couple beers. We were tickled that the restrooms were dubbed "Donnie" and "Marie" with autographed pictures of the sibling Osmonds on the doors. They were surprisingly clean. While we waited for our grub, my hubby enjoyed ping ponging his eyes from one TV to the next, catching snippets of the NFL footballs games being broadcasted. It was a hoot watching him shift from the Giants/Eagles to the Patriots/Jets his head turning back and forth like he was watching a tennis match! We sat at a high top near the casual bar which was filled with sports fans, good 'ole boys and beer lovers. I could almost hear someone call "Norm!" We also had a nice view of the pool table and the game that was being played. They also had dart boards, lots of neon signage, murals, a charging station and a jukebox. This was a cool, local pub that was comfortable and welcoming. Our burger was delivered with a slight smile and it was hot and tasty. The buttery brioche bun was lightly toasted and delish. The fries were piping hot, crispy and yummy. The little side of Cole slaw was fresh and tangy. All and all a really good All American meal in a chill atmosphere at a decent price! I'm really glad Plan B came through for us!! For this type of earthy, small town sports tavern, it hit all the marks! It's the only game in town and it quelled our "Suffren"!

This place is meh. If ur looking for drinks at night go here. Unfortunately I was looking for dinner and it does say it's a restaurant on Yelp. Well after about 6its a bar that happens to have food. If ur expecting that, you'll be really happy. If ur restaurant focused you might want to look elsewhere.

Bottomless Mimosas

We stopped in for Sunday brunch over Memorial Day weekend. They advertised a bottomless mimosa on Facebook which was a deciding factor for us to visit Plan B for the first time. We opted to sit and eat at the bar and were promptly greeted by Nick & Andy. We ordered two bottomless mimosas, Eggs Benedict, and the Charbroiled French Toast with a side of bacon. Food was all delicious, we really enjoyed it! They have a TouchTunes jukebox which allows you to DJ the venue from your barstool on your phone. We had the pleasure of meeting and having nice conversation with the owner Fletcher and Paula just prior to leaving. He was really nice to have conversation with and has done a great job shaping Plan B to his expectations. Inviting and friendly atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Stop in to give it a try, we will certainly be back!

Great place, great kitsch all over the place. Motorcycle engine light sconces, great bar games, and great food. So good.

Kid friendly for dinner or more bar atmosphere?

It's definitely a bar atmosphere, but not necessarily "adults only." Depends on the kids. Nothing offensive that I remember.

Any good vegan options?

We're more "Vegetarian friendly" than "Vegan friendly"... our Hummus [which is pretty ho' made and pretty awesome] definitely qualifies... and we can do some custom salads... but on the whole, we are Vegan limited.

Great Lobster Roles?

Far as I can tell... learned the recipe from a friend who owns a food truck in S. Portland, ME. We do it the right way... split top hot dog roll browned on both sides in lots of butter... butter drizzled on the inside of the bun, then add Lobstah… Read more

We had a cocktail party for about 35 people at high tops and it was excellent (plenty of room for dancing, etc) The food was delicious, prices are very reasonable and the staff were great! I highly recommend having any kind of party there! I can't say enough about Erin who was the event manager. She worked with me for months making sure that everything is going to be perfect. I'm sure I was driving her crazy at several points but her patience was exceptional and her management & organization skills are incredible! She also is a tech wiz (at least compared to me) and helped me set up a playlist for the party on a Bluetooth system and a video loop of photos of my husband to play on the TVs. She was there the whole night along with a bartender and runner and everything was as smooth as can be. I was totally relaxed knowing that she was taking care of all the details! Thank you so much, Erin! The party would not have been a terrific success without you! Definitely check out River for your next party!

My old phone was taking blurry pics from far away so I wasn't able to capture it, but think very cozy, fireplace with candles glowing from within, and little alcoves in the wall for candle clusters. It was perfectly elevated while still being casual and approachable. When we came there was a Mac and cheese special with pulled bbq pork on top. I knew we had to get that because it is right up my husbands alley. It did not disappoint, my husband was tempted to order some to take home! The pasta was super creamy and cheesy, mixed with the roasted pulled smoky bbq pork on top, it was the ultimate comfort food for the cold rainy day we were having. For my meal I got the Grilled Cheese which is more of an elevated "grown up" grilled cheese. It had cheese, thin apple slices, fig jam and bacon. The flavors were great, I only wish there was a little more cheese or a little less jam to balance the sweet and savory a little more, because for me it was a touch too sweet. The sourdough it was made with was delicious and fresh, I also appreciate that they don't seem to soak their grilled cheese in oil like a lot of places do (butter or nothing, please!!) My husband ordered the burger which he really enjoyed but nothing was going to top the pulled pork Mac and cheese for him. They should consider adding it to the regular menu! He originally wanted the duck sandwich but it was unavailable on this day. All in all it was a cozy afternoon together. Our waitress was very friendly and made sure to check on us without ever being too overbearing.
