    The view at sunset

Came two nights in a row. Last night it was just appetizers, but the food was so good. We had to come back tonight for dinner. We had gnocchi and it was phenomenal. The garlic cheese bread was the perfect accompaniment. And of course, we had to have the lemonchello cake again. This restaurant is amazing. Good thing I live in another state or I could weigh 500lbs!

Ordered through doordash and there was a glitch with the app. Called directly to remediate and they fixed new pizzas for us. This pizza is hands down solid as heck. Great crust, great topping combos. Definitely coming back again. Great job! Top notch service and food!

This was our first trip in to this delightful and (emphasis) friendly restaurant but it won't be our last! Neapolitan pizza is such an art. It needs to be prepared perfectly with the finest ingredients. The flour is imported from Italy and the sauce and cheese were absolutely delicious. We had the first bites in our mouths before I could snap the picture! Everyone knows what they love but, for us, it's the crust. Totally legit! . Looking at the menu they serve a large variety of pasta and meat dishes with a lunch menu of sandwiches using the pizza dough for the bread...yeah - we'll be trying that. Our server was amazingly attentive and the owners came over to make us feel at home. Oh, the Italian blend wine was a perfect pairing as well. Pizzicata Mesa is the genuine article. We're so happy we found it...can't wait to return! Yummmmmy!

We stopped by Pizzicata to have lunch with a friend last weekend. None of us have ever been, but were quickly impressed by the sprawling dining room and the picturesque golf course views. Our server was friendly right off of the bat and explained the menu to us, highlighting fan-favorite dishes. We started off with the cheesy garlic bread which was so important. It was seriously the best garlic bread I have ever had. We were all seriously impressed. For my meal, I had the chicken parmigiana. I order this at almost every Italian restaurant I go to, and Pizzicata was clearly no exception. I really enjoyed the contrast of the creamy Alfredo sauce against the marinara. The chicken was breaded and fried perfectly and was delicious. We were much too full for dessert, but vowed to try it next time. Overall, great experience!

Great view of the golf course! Very casual place with great food and refreshing drinks. This restaurant has golf course views and a very friendly servers. The pizza here is cooked in a high heat pizza oven and comes out with a crispy and slightly charred crust which we really enjoyed. I tried the arancini and calamari appetizer with pizzacata for dinner.

My friend and I ate breakfast there on Wednesday, October 15. The menu prices were very reasonable. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. I ordered the Carbonara Scramble which consisted of bacon, sausage, onion and cheddar jack cheese scrambled with 2 eggs. It also came with a slice of toast made from homemade bread. The price was $13. My friend ordered the Green Chili Omelette consisting of eggs, green chiles, cream cheese, cheddar jack cheese, covered in green chile sauce topped with pico, sour cream and avocado. Her dish also came with the same 2 sides. Both plates were delicious and hit the spot! We sat in front of a large window which overlooked the beautiful golf course. We did notice flies on these windows as we ate. That was the downside of our dining experience. The women's restroom was closed so the men's was designated for both men and women. The toilet in the stall I used wasn't working as well as it should have so there might be a sewage issue???

Our first visit was last night. We ordered the Travolta wood fired pizza and a bottle of wine. Our server, Spencer, did a good job taking care of us. The restaurant was remodeled to achieve a feel of Italy. I would give it another visit to try some other items on their menu!

To toast my 900th review on Yelp, I knew I needed to do something a little special and go with someone to celebrate. Who better than my Yelp Bestie/Cousin Chelsey H.?! This location has been bookmarked to try as I saw a Yelp friend review and saw they had Caprese. If you know me, you know I'm a Caprese aficionado and always looking to see who locally has the best Caprese! When you pull into the very large parking lot, you will want to enter from the right side labeled patio. It can be a little confusing as we walked to the left as it was labeled restaurant, but it was the golf resort side. Once we entered, the hostess was very friendly and asked if we wanted a window view which was a nice touch. Genuinely amazing how beautiful the view was as we both witnessed a sunset and the rolling in of a monsoon storm. The beauty of Arizona in the summer! To start the meal, we began with Caprese which despite the menu I didn't realize didn't come with balsamic. Shame on me for not reading it fully lol. I personally love balsamic glaze and/or balsamic vinegar, so we asked the waitress (receipt says Serena - we didn't catch her name sorry!) who grabbed a bottle which added the little something I felt it missing (personal preference). Before we could even finish the caprese salad, the beautiful vegetariana pizza came out. Pictures do not do it justice as this pizza was perfectly crunchy and the vegetables cooked perfectly! Since we were on a roll, we ended the night with the brownie that's topped with vanilla gelato and whipped cream. Though the texture didn't seem quite brownie-like, it was incredibly rich and delicious! Ended the meal on a sweet note. Definitely recommend this location if you are in the area, and when I have a craving for good pizza then I'll drive the 10 miles from my house to try this place again!

Amazing pizza with an amazing view! It's prime patio season and the Pizzicatta at Painted Mountain golf course has one of the best. They serve two different styles of authentic Italian pizza, both out of a fancy pizza oven straight from Italy. Each bite is bursting with authentic taste from fresh ingredients. Next to the pizza, the meatballs are my favorite thing on the menu, but I've yet to try anything that I don't like. The homemade pasta and deserts are also delicious.

However, I was met and left with a bad taste in my mouth. No pun intended. The female employee (short hair/glasses) was not the friendliest person, even after I tried being overly nice. I don't know if she was having a bad day or just hates males in general but not a good representation of a place I was eagerly awaiting to try. I first asked if there was a difference in drinks from what was on the menu and up on the board above. She answered snarky, "if it's up on the board and on the menu it's the same" Mind you, one said latte and the other did not, hence the question. I opted with what I normally get. She took my order and then while looking down, stated, "2% milk okay" I said sure then asked if whole was available. You would've thought I had asked for her to go milk the cow and bring it back. She was very annoyed, so I said 2% is fine. I paid for my coffee then stood and watched her began preparing it. I saw her add one quick pump of syrup so I said, could I maybe have one more pump. Again, you would've thought I was about to suck them dry of all syrup. She seemed annoyed and looked at the register and began to say what I assume was they charge for extra, so I quickly said never mind. All in all I was disappointed with my interaction. The coffee was good and the wrap was okay but I dunno if I'd go back.

The way I was treated at this place was embarrassing on their behalf. I live for this place because i'm a celiac and they have a whole place separate for us. I've never had a bad experience with cross contamination until today. I had told her when I ordered that I had a allergy and she brushed it off. I figured they get celiacs in here all the time so I didn't worry. Our food came out completely wrong and my friends had the gluten free wings and fries. The fries didn't even have a pick that said gluten free, that was my first weird thought . I waited for her to come back over to explain the situation, she passed us and went to all 3 of her different tables. We watched her proceed to chit chat and make small talk with all these tables. I ask another server to go with pink and blonde hair to go grab my server or a manager. I watched her go talk to my server to be ignored for another five minutes. When I mean she walked right past as I was staring at her to go talk to the other servers at the bar, I was livid. I work at another restaurant, i'm younger but I give great service. My biggest thing is allergies, I always ask. It's crazy to me how I can be so obligated to making sure others don't get sick but a restaurant that specializes in allergies can't. I then asked another server to grab me a manager, our server was sitting at the table right next to us talking to a regular it looked like. Won't even comment on this grown women acting younger than me. This manager comes out first off all looking like he just came from off the line and they didn't even have a dinning manager and comes at us saying " well where's the picks that where in the food? " I told him about the one in the wings and not in the fries, also the wings were switched with flavors. He grabbed the wings away without even taking the fries or my friend's wings with the wrong sauce. He walked away. 15 minutes later another server brings my wings out. Everyone is done eating at this point, I ate a couple and wanted a togo box. My server didn't check on me once during this, nether did a manger. We asked the host for a check and some boxes and she had our server finally come over to us. I went home sick and throwing up because of cross contamination with the fries. If you had tattoos all over your arms, with braids working around 4 on Wednesday, shame on you. Honestly you should be embarrassed how you looked and treated another server girl. I've already contacted the upper management to handle this situation because i'm appalled. The negligence needs to be addressed, because shame on the establishment. I won't be coming back to this hub, the one on baseline and sossaman is amazing. I've never had any issues there, the staff even brought me a little gluten free side on the house. When you realize why you didn't get tipped, that's why. The disrespect was higher than what I could of even gave you. Do better as an establishment because my manager would never let that crap slide.

The queso was rich without being too heavy, and the mustard added a nice contrast. For my meal, I had the Caesar salad topped with a bistro steak cooked a perfect medium rare. The romaine was crisp, the garlic-anchovy dressing bold, and the garlic croutons and parmesan tied everything together. The steak was tender, flavorful, and elevated the salad. At the table, we also ordered the cheesesteak with Angus beef, roasted peppers and onions, Havarti cheese, and garlic aioli served on a baguette, with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was hearty and satisfying, and the fries were really good The wagyu burger was another standout--topped bacon, Gruyère and smoky blue cheese, caramelized onions, tomato jam, and garlic aioli on a pub bun. The beef and bacon were fabulous and the fries cooked to perfection Jake, our server, was terrific--attentive, friendly, and helped make the whole experience even better.
