My wife and I stopped by yesterday on a whim. We sat in the Happy Hour section which was nice to watch the Cardinal game. Our waiter Robb was pleasant and professional. We ordered off the HH menu which had some great prices. The truffle fries were good but could have been cooked a minute longer to get them a little crispier. The Turkey sliders were excellent on the fresh pretzel rolls. The carne tacos were very boring. Just diced steak in a tortilla with a dollop of Guac on top. They really needed some diced veggies on top or pico. The bruschetta was really bad. Had a really bad after-taste and the juices from the toppings soaked the bread. Nothing worse then wet bread. The server took them off our bill. Overall, it was good. We'll be back... Got to have those sliders... read more

We went for Father's Day for the Prime Rib Special. It was my first time going. The inside was a little boring but I bet that patio is what makes the place but unfortunately it was a scorcher! The staff was very friendly and welcoming and even brought us bread and butter that we asked for! Everyone but me ordered the Prime Rib dinner special and I ordered the wings. My grandfather found his meat to be very tough and so they kindly brought him another piece which he thought was better. The wings were good and crispy but the dry rub was soooo salty. It was called Jakes rub but I could only taste salt and my husband agreed. Everyone basically felt like everything was just ok no one was blown away by anything. read more

We came in the spring with 4 other couples. Made happy hour by less than 5 minutes! I want to say I like this place, but I can't. They ignore you when walking in, and once they seat you, forget about anyone coming to see if you want to take advantage of the last remaining happy hour menu or drinks. Bad service, limited high end (crappy) menu, everything high priced, and not that good either. Only good thing are all the beautiful views! This could be an awesome place, if you just cut your prices in half and offer a good burger for $14, then we might come back! Wow.. I mean wow!! why haven't I come here sooner? This place has the most amazing patio. I could sit here all day and just drink. The views and the sunset are stunning. And the happy hour is fantastic. Not only do they have a very reasonably happy hour food menu, but the cocktail menu is also awesome. I tried the Mojito and grapefruit Cosmo and both were delish. Happy hour tacos, wings and pot stickers were all delicious. Inside dining is gorgeous. Very clean and recently remodeled. I'm sure dinner is more formal, but patio dining was very casual. Had the most awesome server, Leah was very attentive and friendly. Not looking forward to snowbirds though, what a buzz kill. Any how's... This spot is close to home, delicious, and that view. Just don't come here! I thought it would be nice for Sunday brunch since I've read really nice things about this place. I made reservations 2 weeks in advance. Upon check in we awkwardly waited while the staff were scrambling around trying to figure out seating. When we were seated we were sat directly in the sun. It was fine we just wore our sunglasses. I really wanted to try the pecan sticky buns app but right away I was told they always sold out by 9am. So, I guess they have a popular menu item they don't keep in supply. Why even put it on the menu? We opted for the shrimp cocktail, it was slightly okay. I ordered the green tomato Benedict and the strawberry crepes. My other half got the lemon pancakes and eggs Benedict. WE WAITED ONE HOUR FOR OUR FOOD. I shit you not!! By the time we got it, it was cold and gross. Very poor food quality. Then we were told sorry and that they would discount our food for the long wait. Made me feel a little better, but it was only 10%. WTAF?!? This place is garbage. They ruined my Sunday morning. Great place to enjoy a lovely view. We went for lunch on a Sunday. The day was perfect and the views remind me of why people come to the valley. The three of us were satisfied with our meals. I think my prime rib french dip won over the chicken pot pie or kobe burger, although all were good. It seemed quite casual and the service was also. It lent to the layed back tranquility. I wouldnt go there in a rush. Thought the happy hour looked enticing although it is too far afield to drink and then have to get home. We shall return!!! Came back a second time and was disappointed in our meals that took forever to get after ordering. It was good, not great. Loved the Bloody Mary Bar. read more

As residents we come here about every other month or so. Food and service is generally good but I am tired of going in and seeing a different menu every time! You'll retain a lot more guests if they know they can come back again and again and get what they like. We don't plan on coming anytime soon, if ever again. Have a menu and stick with it! read more

On specific Holidays they offer special full meal takeout options. Everything is hot and ready to eat. I HIGHLY RECOMMENED ordering these. We ordered Mothers Day, Thanksgiving in 2020 (the best food I have ever tasted). The Turkey was so moist and absolutely delicious (as were all the sides)! My parents (who are picky eaters) said this was the best Thanksgiving dinner they have ever tasted. I completely agree (even better than my smoked turkey's). The Chef really knows his stuff. We just placed our order for the 2020 Christmas Eve Prime Rib Dinner. We cannot wait to taste it. We frequent the restaurant on Friday nights for Prime Rib night and have spent many Sunset Happy Hours on the patio. We just moved to Las Sendas area in December of 2019 and visited the Grille shortly after. I cant speak for previous management, but the current management staff really knows what they are doing! We are members so have come here a lot. Don't order food and expect to get what you ordered. Apparently they put what they want in your meal instead of what the menu says. Service is slow and terrible. You have to ask for the same thing 5 times and maybe you'll get it. High price for a hodge podge of food. read more

Great prime rib. Great pasta bar on Sunday's. This place is a great stop for the after work beer and dinner for the locals. A superb golf day with lunch as well as dinner for all. We live in Las Sendas where this neighborhood bar/cafe exists. I can walk to this restaurant. I went there last month with friends to eat at Happy Hour and they took over 1 hour to get our drink order! We logged our complaint and they comped us the drinks so I gave them a second chance tonight. Their web site stated 1/2 off of ANY bottle of wine on Wednesday nights. I ordered a $15 bottle so I should have been billed $7.50. When the bill came the wine listed at $26 with 1/2 off being $13.00. It was a small matter of us being overcharged $5.50 but I questioned the waitress and found out that there is small print on the menu stating some bottles are excluded. Dennis the manager came over to ask why we questioned our waitress and got visibly irritated at us and stomped away angrily as he offered us the reduced price. His anger with us was embarrassing and palpable to us and those around us despite the fact that the restaurant advertising was WRONG. All over $5.50! He may have offered us the reduced price but it was clear to us and the other diners around us that he did not want to. I paid the full amount rather than deal with the adolescent reaction to my legitimate query. Sad that a neighborhood restaurant that stands to gain by treating nearby residents as... well customers and neighbors... would be offended at being called on their inaccurate advertising. read more

It was the first time we had been to the patio in a while and it didn't disappoint on a Saturday night. Ah-ma-zing service. Seriously! I had a filet and the brussel sprouts (nom nom!) which were super good and my husband made me very envious with the short rib pasta. He said it might just be one of the best things he ever ate. Very nice views. Decent Happy Hour. They often have live music, which is a bit hit or miss, but usually somewhere in between. Most of the food is very good, and they offer a good variety of food and drinks. The service is pretty good, but again sometimes a little slow and sometimes the hostesses are not very friendly. Went to dinner Saturday night to check out the new menu and chef. We were not disappointed! I ordered the shrimp and hubby ordered the steak. Both were delicious, good thing we like to share! We ordered dessert, one bread pudding, which is usually good here, but this time not so good. It was dry. We figured it was an off night. I took my 89 year old Mom to this restaurant, & thought it appeared to have a decent menu & all & it's in a nice quality golf course community. Well the service, was the worst ever. The server, seemed distracted & it was only 5:10pm. We ordered & then the server after a little while refilling my iced tea she was gone. Other people, but not checking on us. So I asked 2 others servers the status on our meal & the look was, "you're not my customer" & finally asked for Manager & again the look was huh? Finally our server arrived & I asked for bill for drinks only & we're leaving, she had the total I do not care look. Nothing at all was done to satisfy us, we were low key decent folks. Where's valuing the customer. We seemed discounted the whole time, lots of workers, no sign of a Manager, unless the woman in the fancy shoes, was the manager? If she was, yikes she cared about table settings but no interaction with people. I can only assume, this establishment has plenty of business, & they can afford me to shove off. read more

This is great place to take family/friends from out of town the view is spectacular. We always come here for appetizers or a burger after hiking in the area. The patio is so inviting and a great set up just to look at the Valley. The service sometimes can be either great or okay depending when all the golfers finish their game. Most of the time the service is pretty good. They have big tables to accommodate parties of 5+ and on sunny days have plenty umbrellas to shield you from the sun. The food has improved over the years and lately has been very good. Great beer and wine selection. read more

Terrible service it took 2 hours to get cheap bar food. The manager did not seem to think waiting 2 hours for a hamburger was an issue. Will never eat at this restaurant again food was terrible. The best thing about this restaurant is the fabulous patio and the view! Sunset is dynamite, but not so much the food! Service started out ok but that went downhill as time went on. I had ordered a pasta veggie dish with Salmon. No sauce whatsoever, very dry, the pasta was not even close to being done, and the very small piece of salmon was cooked WELL DONE! Another person at the table sent his food back because it arrived COLD! Here is the best part.....when our 2 dishes were returned the server brought my dish and another lady brought the gentlemen's plate. She apologized to him about the cold food and offered to buy him another drink. Very nice. Then she walked away and didn't even make eye contact with me....like I didn't have a problem too! We were all dumbfounded. I guess he was pretty cute and his cold food was more important than my dry, tasteless dish. The filet that was ordered at the table was fabulous. Well seasoned and cooked to perfection, but the steak, broccollini and potatoes all fit in 1/3 of the plate....all for $32. Come on folks, bring on the sides to help cover up for charging so much for the 6oz. of meat......this was a $2. increase from the last menu and less food. So sad this all happened as we like this place but not so much after this visit.
