    Hawaiian Pizza
    Carson R.

Pretty good little pizza joint. We got a half cheese/half pepperoni and then a Hawaiian. Good amount of cheese & toppings on both and the crust was actually very good. My 5 year old who normally doesn't eat crust at the entire thing--crust too! My wife commented on how good the crust was too. Pretty quick service--probably 10-12 minutes from order until it was on our table. They advertise more than just pizza, but they had a sign up that said no subs and no fried foods--not sure if that was temporary (out of goods) or normal. We sat inside, it was a little dingy, not super clean feeling--but it's an older place. Could probably use a makeover inside.

We got to the beach Saturday and didn't feel like going out or cooking after the long drive and unpacking. They close at 9pm and it was 8pm. I knew they would be busy and was hoping they would still take my order. The gentleman that answered the phone was very friendly and had no problem taking my order for delivery even though he said it would be about an hour wait. We were so relieved! The food came in about 45 minutes and the pizza was very good, and we ate on it for 2 days! I also got a garden salad that was very fresh! They have very good Ranch. I wanted to go back later in the week just to order the ranch! Haha Highly recommend!

The ONLY reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I did not in fact get pizza here. I went with the chef salad, which did not have black olives as stated, but DID have jalapeños as the "hot peppers" mentioned in the menu. I'm pretty sure I have never seen jalapeños on a chef salad, and certainly not at an Italian joint. My review would have had fewer stars, but I didn't think it fair to rate a pizza place on the salad. Stick with the pizza here, which did look and smell delicious.

A little surprised at the bad reviews. I was down in Duck for the day and my husband wanted a sub. I saw this place and stopped. Yes....it is small. Around 5 booths. Nothing fancy. I definitely want to call out David. Excellent customer service and so friendly. They actually have a very reasonable lunch buffet. I got the cheesesteak sub for my husband and a medium cheese pizza for the other guys. I actually did not taste the food but my husband said the sub was very good. I heard good things about the pizza. Service was great and fast and David was very friendly and helpful.....a true asset to this place.

We are staying at a condo nearby on vacation. In a comedy of errors, we lost our dinner reservation after getting locked out of our car, and had to wait for AAA road service. After that problem was solved, we wanted dinner quickly, so we went online to look for pizza. Pizzazz was only about a half mile away, and when I called the order in, they said it would be ready in 15 minutes. We picked it up & it was ready right on time. And it was VERY tasty. The place is in the Loblolly Pines shopping center, and it has a few booths inside, but it is mostly a carryout. But Pizzazz Pizza saved the day for us for dinner tonight, and we will seek them out the next time.

While on vacation, my wife and I stumbled upon this quaint little pizza place. The pizza is very good. We were here for lunch and there was a buffet. The price was reasonable at about $10.00 per person that included our drinks. The biggest drawback is the size. The restaurant is very small. There are five booths inside. There is outdoor seating, but it was a little chilly for us.

Pizza and fries were delicious! I know, a weird combination. Delivery was fast and the order was accurate.

Good pizza. The sauce was zesty and a touch of sweetness. Our order was ready on time and correct. They got our special requests right.

Pizza was good. Had it ready quickly. Garlic bread wasn't really garlic bread and was more like flat pizza.

Might want to skip his place and try a different place to eat or better yet buy a frozen pizza at the grocery store and cook it yourself.

I woke up...and had a delicious time! The reviews here tell you how great this place is, and well...believe them! I thought for sure it would be over-hyped and not live up to what people write and say, but I will admit to being wrong. First, our server, Krickett, was agreed upon (by my partner and I) to be the best server we have ever had. She was friendly, outgoing, had good recommendations, and an all-around joy. Second, the food! Wow! My partner had a salad...simple enough, right? But no, she was amazed by it. And she is a vegetarian, so she has had a lot of salads over the years. This one blew her away. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. Was it life-changing? No. But it was way better than what a grilled chicken sandwich normally is. It was tender, juicy, with just the right seasoning. I would be a criminal if I didn't mention the bruschetta...get it with the burrata...it is worth it! The crispy bread with balsamic drizzle is good enough with the diced tomato mix, but the cheese gives it a new level. And, I hope you saved room for dessert, because the key lime pie was a mouth explosion.

The restaurant has two distinct dining areas: the front section is first-come first-served bar seating that offers the full menu. The back section, which would be ideal for families, holds about 30 tables, mostly booths, with the hostess stand. We chose to sit at the bar and had a great experience. We started with bruschetta topped with burrata cheese. I ordered the angel hair pasta in a white garlic butter, cream sauce with marinated chicken and grilled vegetables. My husband ordered the special hamburger with Swiss cheese bacon, spinach and mayo with a side of fries. We ended with slices of the key lime pie that didn't disappoint! The food, service, staff and environment were exceptional! We overheard the Server mention that veterans receive complementary meals on Veterans Day, which speaks volumes about how this restaurant supports those who have served. If you are in the Outer Banks- whether you're staying in Kill Devil Hills or nearby- this restaurant is worth the drive and all the hype!

Our service was great. But the food, sub par. Soft drinks were "odd" for lack of better word. So I returned it for a beer cause, why not. Sweet tea was so sweet that we had to dilute it with water. We can handle that. The food would have been great, had they used ANY SEASONING at all. Everything tasted as tho the kitchen lost all S&P privileges. I had the prime rib w/ au jus. Meat was tender and onions cooked nicely. But it definitely didn't match the description which was something like "on a hoagie bun topped with garlic and butter." It was not. Which would have really helped carry the no seasoning deal. Au jus, had great potential, just no flavor. I ended up eating the meat alone and left the bread. Wife got the Reuben. Which was overall ok. Much more flavor than mine. But only bc of the sauerkraut. Oldest daughter got the BYO burger, with cheese and pickle. The burger was clearly a frozen patty from the store. As clearly defined by the shape of the patty. She ate half and the other half sits in the fridge as I type, from 2 nights ago. (I usually eat all the leftovers) I leave this review in hopes that the management and kitchen staff will start to properly season their food. Arts has great potential. But not without seasoning!

I guess the Rockfish tacos were a daily special, so I ordered the "World Famous" Mahi tacos while Ms T ordered a crabcake sandwich. I think we were both a little disappointed. Her sandwich was definitely for bun lovers. She tore off enough bread for another sandwich and still had plenty. Restaurants are often guilty of conflating a huge bun with good sandwich. She was not particularly impressed with the crab cake, saying it was overloaded with thyme. I ordered my Mahi "blackened" and it really was not. The seasonings were good although also heavy with thyme. The flour tortillas were of poor quality, very thin and leathery and not provided hot. Hence the tacos were room temperature when eaten. I liked the finely shredded cheese that was not served refrigerator cold. The white sauce they serve is just wrong for these tacos. It is too sweet, too tart, making it harsh. Instead, I used the sauce that came with her crab cake and that was much better. Finally the mahi was very dry. I guess that is kind of the way that mahi is, but this really needed plenty of sauce. Kudos to them for serving good jasmine rice. This was not as good as we remembered. It is OK, not great and could be improved with just a few changes. We should have tried the burgers.
