The pizza is okay. They sell by the pizza, all you can eat buffet (with drink) or by the slice. I had just finished hiking the dunes and pulled in to try it out. It was almost 2p when I came and the crowds were slow so there wasn't a lot of pizza turn over. But still it was warm. The restaurant was a bit noisy inside. I think it was the soda machine. I had a slice, it was ok, but not the pizza I was looking for...

Was happy to be able to find a place open during the off season but according to the previous reviews wasn't too sure what to expect. Our experience with the employees was not like many other reviews reported. They were very friendly, talkative and appreciated our patronage. It appears that most of the business is take out because there is only a hand full of booths to sit. Was happy to see that it was clean and tidy. The pizza was just ok to me. My biggest issue was that it definitely could have been cooked longer. The dough was a bit soft and gooey. Prices were a bit more that expected. For example, a small pizza with 2 toppings was $18. I might would return for a second visit if there weren't other choices to go to like today, but I would definitely ask for a well done dough.

The people there were very nice and helpful. The pizza should not allowed to be called "pizza". It's something else. It's pizza toppings on a doughy disc, but not pizza at all. Anyone from north of Washington DC should probably bring cold pizza to reheat at home and not get whatever the stuff here is. $16.00 for something the Red Baron would be ashamed to sell is not worth it. I can't wait to get back to Philly! The place was very clean and the non-pizza food looked okay, but we only ordered "pizza".

A slice of the Greek pizza. It's a white pizza with no tomato sauce.

We just arrived in the OBX and were looking for dinner without an hour and half wait. We decided on this place and ordered the Greek Pizza. The dough appeared to be pre-made, the olives were whole instead of sliced, and the spinach was the defrosted frozen variety. It was not very good overall. The restaurant is a bit tired looking too. However, it was very clean. And the service from the cashier was outstanding. She greeted us quickly and warmly. She was vey attentive. I observed her cleaning the tables. She also brought our food to us because we were sitting outside and could not have been nicer and more accommodating. They sell subs and fried chicken too, so perhaps that's better than the pizza.

Absolutely delicious! Everyone was very hard at work and so respectful! They showed us the pizza and made sure we were okay with it. This place is so clean and the workers truly put so much work in their job! I am on vacation but I would love to come again before I go back home!

Slowest pizza place ever!! Ordered a simple sub and it took 20 minutes. Only a couple of people in the place. Won't be back.

Worse than frozen pizza. We got a slice each and it was hardly warm. Sauce was awful. Waste of money.

Don't go anywhere else for your pizza in the area. Seriously, you want pizza, you're in Nags Head,…read moreyou have to order from only here. It is delicious. We ordered well ahead of time online, that way it would be ready for pick up as we passed by. After ordering, you will get an estimated time of when it will be ready. We were given a time and then made a stop before coming here. However, they are quicker than the estimated time. Which is a great thing, less waiting when you pull up, but not good if you get stuck elsewhere beforehand. Pulled in, right up to the window, let them know I had an order. Within seconds, my order was in my hands. The hardest part about this was the enticing smell in your vehicle back to your house. Totally takes over and your stomach starts grumbling. When we got back, we immediately opened up those boxes so the aroma filtered through the house. Each pizza was amazing. The garlic bread was amazing. The right amount of garlic that doesn't overpower. Then the pizza itself blows you away. Perfect crust, perfect amount of sauce, perfect amount of toppings. Made you go back for a slice over and over again. Then it doesn't hurt that there are personal touches to each box with a message. Each box has a message when you open. A nice touch from such an amazing place to grab a slice.

Love how they write fun messages on their boxes Enjoyed the garlic bread Cons: Plan ahead cause it can take a while to get your order Pizzas were just ok, nothing super special Pro tip: Place your order earlier in the day, maybe even as you are driving into town for the week. That way you won't get stuck in a huge queue!

We were unofficially judging grilled cheese and mac and cheese all week, and this one absolutely held its own. I ordered the Smash Burger Pizza, and I was skeptical until the first bite. It somehow captures all the flavors of a really good smash burger, complete with the tangy "special sauce" flavor, pickles, beef, cheese, and onions, but on a wood-fired pizza crust. It sounds a little ridiculous on paper. It works. I also accidentally ordered one of their cannabis-infused cocktails because I apparently skipped over an important word on the menu. It did exactly what it promised without sending me into another dimension, which was appreciated. The only downside was that I spent the rest of the evening happily eating leftover Smash Burger Pizza and wondering why anyone would order anything else. The atmosphere was laid back, the service was friendly, and we'll always say anything positive about anyone who helps take care of our sweet little one. We'd happily come back the next time we're in Manteo. Don't let the current rating scare you away. We almost did, and we'd have missed out on one of our favorite meals of the trip.

Let's start with the positives:…read more Love that it's in Manteo and the place has a nice vibe to it. Would've like to try the Weeping Radish Beers but kids were with me so I passed. The Pretzel was good, no doubt about that. All of the breads were very fresh. Unfortunately, everything got worse after the appetizer pretzel at our table. The hot honey on the New Yorker Down South functioned more like a sticky grease. But if not for the honey, I don't think I would've tasted anything at all. The service wasn't good either. Our waitress appeared to be getting frustrated just by those at our table asking questions. The only time she lit up was when she bragged about the two smash burger ideas she came up with that made the menu. She wasn't terrible, but maybe I'm just being nice considering I felt us being there was an inconvenience to her. When someone at our table asked to add lettuce and tomato to their burger, she replied that this isn't a build your own burger place and that she works at the Lost Colony where you can do that...but not here. It was odd. My family has gluten allergies which sucks...but when we asked if any desserts were gluten free she said the tart was the only one she was aware of. It might have been, but saying "aware of" led me to believe there could possibly be others but she didn't know and wasn't asking. Ok, I convinced myself, the service was bad. In fact, the place was practically empty and they stuck all 7 of us in a booth. My daughter who is extremely gluten sensitive has to cut off a piece of her pizza because the waitress bumped it against mine when she put it on the table. In her defense, we had no room for it. When the waitress brought back my youngest daughters Smash Burger (because they didn't put cheese or mayo on it) she could only fit half the plate on the table. So my 8 year old ate off a plate with half the plate dangling off the side...bizarre. I'm giving 2 stars because I believe the meal could've been better. Living in a family with gluten allergies and having none...I get how it can be frustrating (apologies to those gluten free...I get that it's way more frustrating for you). I'd probably stick with a pretzel, order a standard smash burger & do the beer sampler. If you're driving over 15 minutes to get here, probably safest to try somewhere else.

"Fast, convenient, good takeout Italian sandwiches, entrees, and more"…read more Punchline-- pass on the sandwiches (tasty but not big) and go for the entrees (giant and similarly priced) We ordered some takeout from this place based on positive Yelp reviews. Fortunately, Yelp came through for us! Note, although some things mention that you can eat in, at the time of this review, there were no visible tables inside-- it seemed to be a takeout only operation. Also, some of the online menus are now wrong-- they list all the meals and sandwiches as coming with a drink included, but they do not do so any longer. We opted for sandwiches and dishes, but they do have some desserts too-- we didn't partake this time. Service: very friendly, both when ordering and during pickup. They also warned us as we ordered about the menu/ drink change mentioned above, which helped prevent any unpleasant surprises. Food: Two of us got sandwiches and two got meals. Mozzarella caprese & Italian cheesesteak sandwiches -- both very good. Each came with a side of chips. But my family members who got these finished their food for dinner and found themselves still hungry. Note, these sandwiches cost $14. Lasagna & eggplant parmigiana -- These came with garden salads (though you could opt for bread for the eggplant parm). GIANT. It was a vat of food. I will say that a lot of the weight was the delicious tomato sauce, so there's a reason to consider getting bread. But even still-- I didn't finish my meal, nor did the other person who ordered one. These cost $16-17. Quite a contrast to the folks who ordered the sandwiches. Synopsis: Go for the entrees. WAY better value. And worth hitting up this place more generally for takeout if you want a break from seafood.
