I had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Both of the crusts were chewier than I remember. I liked the flavor of the pepperoni and the type that was used, but the overall pizza needed to be cooked a little longer. The mushroom was solid too, but again, the crust needed more cooking. It did not make me enjoy it as much as I remember.

We didn't mind, but we definitely shuffled chairs to find a comfy high top since they vary. It was a windy morning, so it was hard to keep things from flying away! We ordered the South of the border omelette and western omelette, both with home fries. They both were so flavorful! The home fries had onions, bell peppers, and some seasoning. It was great! We also ordered half an order of French toast, but felt indifferent. The service was great and quick! We will return in future trips.

I actually really like that you order at the counter and seat yourself. Your food is paid for upfront, so when you're finished, you can simply leave without waiting around for a check. It makes the whole experience feel very relaxed and easy. We tried the Riesling wine selection, and it was delicious. I ordered the Italian sandwich, and my fiancé got the pretzel. Both were really good. Between the delicious food and wine, relaxed atmosphere, and incredible views, we truly got to sit back and savor the experience. Definitely a memorable stop, and I'd happily come back.

We beat the crowds and got a table on the upstairs patio. It technically looks out over the ocean, though from our spot, it was mostly a view of the sand! We ordered their famous recommended dish and said it was amazing. My Salmon was great too! The only downside? The service really went downhill after the food arrived. Despite being the only ones on the patio, our waiter never checked back in. A couple of waitresses were just hanging out by the bar on their phones, too. Eventually, one of them noticed our cleared plates, asked about dessert, and just brought the bill. No "how was everything?" or "can I get you anything else?"--which was a bummer for such a highly recommended spot!

With much respect to the owners of this restaurant, I strongly disagree with the previous reviewer (it looks like a paid endorsement). Unfortunately, I think the pizza here is the worst I've eaten in my life. On my first try, I thought "how can a new restaurant be this is bad (and I only tried a cheese pizza!)"? But, because it was one of the few places that also delivered in the area, I gave it one more shot a few weeks later. Unfortunately, I was still disappointed. The crust is tasteless and very thin, the pizza get's cold very quickly after it arrives, making it extremely hard to eat. I almost cracked a tooth (both times). I've never been in the restaurant (only delivery), but unless they improve this recipe, I will not order there again. Forgive the poor review, but I needed to be honest. Given the pizza is not good, I'm hesitant to try any other menu items. read more

Amazing Pizza. You can taste the love in this beautifully prepared pie. The perfect mixture of thin crust, chewy and crunchy at the same time. The pepperoni is amazingly thin and spicy, and the white pizza's ricotta is added in just the right amount to make a creamy, yummy masterpiece. The owners passion for good food, and their joy in serving it was apparent I am a self diagnosed Pizza snob, and Pizza Stop totally hit mark. My family and I are from Norfolk and spend a lot of time in Rodanthe, we have now decided to make it a tradition to pick up a few pies at Pizza Stop every time we drive down. read more

The pizza is awesome - the crust is delicious! My favorite was the white pizza with spinach and tomatoes and ricotta. You can buy pizza by the slice or a whole pie. They also have a variety of sandwiches and salads and other munchies like wings on the menu. All the ingredients are fresh, many are local. We were in the Outer Banks area for a weekend, and we ate here twice because we liked it so much. The owners and staff are so friendly - often coming out to chat with the customers when they had a break. I will definitely be back to eat at Pizza Stop next time I am visiting the area. read more

The best Pizza, I would say in all of NC! It was delicious! You can taste how fresh everything is---and we actually met the owners who are so great and really have hired great employees to make the whole experience one that you and your family will want to become regulars there! My favorite is the Hawaiian style pizza with bacon and their salads are really good and fresh too---all around a win win situation, whether you want pizza or a sub or salad, lunch or dinner...Pizza Stop is the place to go---convenient location and fast delivery service. By far the best Pizza and Hoagies on the beach. Super friendly staff. They always greet you with a smile and a great attitude. What really impresses me the most about there food is there consistency, I order there a lot and it is perfect every time. I've never tried anything on the menu that I don't like. It's hard to spend $5 on fast food or other junk food knowing they do 2 slices & a drink for $5. They have online ordering & an app as well. It is a must stop when heading to OBX...great location! The greek salad with homemade dressing was great. We munched on mozzarelli sticks with marinara sause which were wonderful. We had a vegetable hoagie that came with melted cheese on this fabulous crispy bread! The icing on the cake, so to speak, was when the pizza arrived...DELICIOUS! We love Pizza Stop. The pizza is delicious and the ingredients are super fresh. I just had the BBQ Chicken Pizza and it was so good! My other favorite is the Cheese/Steak sub on a fresh roll. I am a local and eat here 2-3 times a month. Always order something different...I have never had a complaint. The staff is always very courteous!!! In reading the comments from over 2 years ago, salad one particularly, that may have been the case.
