My boss wanted to add on garlic knots last minute to a large work order so I freaked and immediately ordered through Grubhub. They said the knots would be delivered before 11:30 which was perfect. I added on a meatball sub pizza just in case the pizzas from the other place weren't up to par. It was beautiful and the knots were fantastic. Everyone raved about the marinara sauce. My friend had a coupon for 15% off his order here, so we ordered some pizza togo! 3 of us split a medium Buffalo Chicken pizza and a large The Boss. It was the perfect amount for 3 people! They have a lot of variety on their menu. Ordering online was easy. Our total was only $41 which I thought was very reasonable. There is no indoor seating, it is more of a pickup or delivery place. The pizza tasted good, they both had ample toppings and were cooked appropriately with no burnt ends. It's not my favorite pizza I've had in Reno, but I was full and satisfied after finishing this meal! I loved the ranch and highly recommend getting extra sides if it for dipping. I swear pizza places always have the best ranch! They gave us packets of crushed red pepper and Parmesan but the Parmesan was in a thick plastic pouch with no tear perforation--it was almost impossible to open. Called because our house was showing out of the delivery range. We had just had our flights canceled over and over again and a 6 hour travel day turned into a 30 hour nightmare. Objectively speaking, this is a local business with easy access to food late nites and personal sized pizzas. That being said, they have a long list of specialty pizzas and even split flavors for me on my 7in pita pizza. The food came out hot and together but not equally good. The chicken was just passed the point of being done and therefore had a very rubbery which cant be covered up if you don't have sauce. The chicken needs to cook for 4-7 minutes longer than what is is being cooked now. Now! Professionally speaking, food is supposed too much satisfy and comfort, this only made me suck. GURLLLLLL!!!! Wig snatched!!! I can't even believe how good this Pizza is!! But before ya girl gets too excited, let me break it down for ya... It's getting close to midnight... I had a VERY long night driving down from Tahoe in a chained up Prius during a snow storm after the Super Bowl. Chains I couldn't get off, left me stranded at home once I finally got there. The steak bomb and the Alfredo's seem to be a hit, so I chose a small Alfredo Penne pizza and added garlic! It had penne pasta, Alfredo sauce, chicken, mushrooms, mozzarella cheese and of course my garlic! Since I had 20% off I decided to treat myself to a dessert. Cinnamon balls with sweet icing it was, and it was time for the waiting game. Estimated delivery time had them arriving around 12:30/12:40am...but they had it done MUCH faster. Soon the little truck on the website was in route and my order was here by 12:10, much faster than estimated. The pizza was garlicy, cheesy...the penne was cooked well and the sauce was creamy and decadent. The corn meal crust added that familiar pizza crust texture I love and the actual crust was crispy and cooked perfectly. The Cinnamon balls were crunchy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside with a thin crunch of sugar and cinnamon on top. Perfectly oven baked, drizzled in EVOO and topped with cinnamon powder. Served with a cup of white icing, these were AMAZING all hot and fresh. Like seriously... I need these in my life every time I've had a hard day! All in all I'd say Pizzava is one of my new late night favs and honestly I'm super excited to order again. read more

Stopped by on a Friday afternoon after work and it was not busy. Ordered a simple medium pepperoni pizza and a drink. The total was $15 and some change. The pizza was good and the dough had a good flavor. The buffalo chicken wings came out to be $10 and some change. They were okay, nothing special. I would recommend this place, especially since they are open till 3am. P.S: If you like to drink soda from a soda machine, they don't have one. At Pizzava, they only sell drinks by the can. Review #203 - 2020 After our 3.5-hour long drive into Reno on Thanksgiving night, I wasn't in the mood to hunt for food so I let my husband & the kids decide on what they wanted to eat. Unfortunately, most places are closed on Thanksgiving Day so it was already going to be hard to find a place that's open, let alone at 10 PM. Luckily, they found a place that was still open until 1 AM & had some pretty good reviews to back it up. They do offer delivery, but just not to our hotel. Darn it! So, they placed an order for a large half pepperoni and cheese (for the girls) and half spicy Hawaiian pizza with alfredo sauce, per my request. I went with the chicken alfredo since I'm not a big fan of pizza; but I'm willing to eat it, if it's made without marinara sauce. We arrived about 25 minutes later and picked up our order. We were all starving so we decided to just sit and eat in the car, which was a very good thing, because we then realized it was not enough food for the 5 of us. The girls attacked the pepperoni and cheese half while I took a slice of the spicy Hawaiian and it was very tasty. Sadly, the pizza was a lot smaller than we anticipated so I felt like I was stealing their food. Their large is more of a medium compared to most places. Unfortunately, since everyone was starving, I didn't get a picture of the pizza. My chicken alfredo was pretty good, but it was a little dry so it could've used a little more alfredo sauce. My husband then picks up his phone and places an order of spicy chicken alfredo for our son, since he liked mine, but his was actually much tastier because it had the perfect amount of sauce and a kick of spice. He also ordered a Bolls calzones, which he seemed to enjoy. I took a small bite of the breading and it was actually very moist and buttery. He ate less than half of it since he over ordered the second time around. The food is actually good, but portion is pretty small for the price. Combination of sausage, onion, pepperoni, and mushroom (no green peppers for me) was great. Just enough topping on a perfectly cooked crust. The Alfredo Chicken Spinach was tasty and with generous toppings. The Hawaiian was not my favorite but my friend thoroughly enjoyed it. She's a bacon, ham, pineapple fanatic. She claimed the leftover 3 pieces as well! Staff are always friendly and courteous. They are more than willing to make helpful suggestions. First time trying Pizzava because at 10:30 pm on a Friday night we decided we wanted pizza and we did not want to go anywhere because we had been enjoying cocktails and a movie at home and did not want to risk driving. Not many options that late as most near enough to deliver were closed or closing but Pizzava is open and delivering until 3:00 am!! I had heard of Pizzava, have actually been in there a few years ago when I was door dashing for extra cash. Cute little midtown establishment with a handful of tables and chairs. Friendly staff too. I do not have photos as we chose delivery but, I remember it as small but comfortable, clean and just an overall welcoming vibe. I checked out yelp reviews real quick and felt like it was a good choice so, I ordered a large 3 topping with pepperoni, mushrooms and olives. I also ordered the garlic parmesean wings because new to us pizza place? Gotta try the wings. I placed the order at around 10:40 pm and was given a delivery time of 11:01 pm. I didn't think that was possible so in my mind figured it would be more like 11:15 pm before our food arrived. They have a handy dandy tracker if you order on line. I kept an eye on it and it pretty much stayed in "prep" the whole time so I was certain I was correct on when the food would arrive, especially when at 11:52 it changed from "prep" to "on our way." We live midtown adjacent but, in an apartment. Those can take delivery drivers a few extra minutes, even with good instructions, to find the right door. I was shocked when there was a knock on the door at 11:02 pm. Seriously, really impressed. Then...we tried the food. Not bad but not great. Pricing is very reasonable for pizza that is just ok. Good, just underwhelming. Crust was a bit dense but had a good crunch. I tend to prefer lighter dough with crunch. Toppings are generous but I can't say anything was any different than what you might get if you ordered from a national chain, reminded me of Dominoes. The menu did state that the wings are baked but, they were not crisp at all. Kinda icky to eat not crispy chicken skin. Nicely seasoned though. Luckily we have an air fryer so we popped them in there to crisp them up. Much better. I'm a traditionalist and prefer blue cheese dressing to dip wings in, my partner in crime hates it so we ordered blue cheese and ranch. Very disappointed in the blue cheese not because it didn't taste good but because the chunks of blue cheese were so large in the 1 Oz dip cups that you really can't get any on your wing. I'd suggest they blend a bit more or when filling dip cups to not allow the big chunks. So, final feeling on Pizzava...will not order the wings again. A bit pricey at over $10.00 for 8 and not crispy as they should be. If it's late, I might order pizza again but just maybe. Wow !!! We were next door earlier in the evening for one of Paul's Beer UYEs. And now down to just four of us we went next door to Pizzava. I'm sure I have mentioned it before, but I'm not really a traditional pizza fan. I don't care for red sauce. Pizzava offers three sizes- 12" $14, 14" $16 and 16" $18. Sixteen specialty pizzas that have choices from red, Alfredo, BBQ or none. There are also five breakfast pizzas, seven calzones, three pastas, and other sides. Katie created her own pepperoni that looked fully loaded with meat and cheese. I went with the XL Alfredo Spinach- so cheesy with plenty of mozzarella, creamy Alfredo sauce, spinach, roasted red peppers and minced garlic. Plenty for four fabulous meals all week. And it was ready and very hot in under 15 minutes. There are a few tables inside, and some on the front sidewalk. Open from 11a to 2a, they have a big delivery area !! Would I order again ? Late night restaurants make this night owl happy! While on a moonlit, Midtown jaunt astride electric bicycles, we noticed Pizzava was open. It looked so welcoming, too, with its roll-up overhead door open, warm lights inside, and brightly colored seating. It was easy to park our bikes on the front patio area and sit near them to be sure they were safe. We opted to share an order of cheesy bread sticks. It came with some marinara sauce, and they gave me some ranch dressing upon request. The cheesy bread sticks were hot, flavorful, and filling. The bread was light and fluffy. The marinara left a little to be desired: it seemed more like thin tomato sauce. The washroom is easily accessible from the dining area (no need to ask where it is or go searching) but that night it was in desperate need of a cleaning and restocking of seat covers and t.p. The restaurant seemed busy making pizzas for delivery, so perhaps that's why the restroom got neglected. Don't let the street improvement construction stop you from trying this great addition to the Midtown scene.
