And the toppings? The perfect combination of sausage, green peppers, banana peppers, onions, and pepperoni -- the little cup kind! But what really blew me away was the crust. How did they get the entire bottom perfectly crisp without burning it, while also keeping the top perfectly cooked?! Seriously... WOW. The ingredients were very fresh, and I liked the flavors. Vegetable hoagie - 4 stars - This hoagie contained fresh mushrooms, zucchini, broccoli, and cheeses. Veggie wrap - 3.5 stars - The vegetables were similar to those of the veggie wedgie, but this wrap was thin, so it fell apart and was messy to eat. Chicken wings - 3.5 stars - These wings were large and contained lots of juicy meat, but I chose a honey-mustard flavor that was just OK. In the future, I will choose one of the restaurant's many other flavors such as garlic or BBQ. Italian calzone - 4 stars Vegetarian flatbread - 4.5 stars General Tso's pizza - 3.5 stars Pulled-pork pizza - 5 stars Garlic parmesan fries - 4 stars - These fries were flavorful but soggy. Yesterday my husband ordered a fish sandwich plain, just fish and bread. It arrived covered in mozzarella cheese. When he called to tell them the order was wrong, he was actually told to "just pick the cheese off." I ordered a Hawaiian pizza with ham, pineapple, and onion. Instead of the normal diced ham, the pizza was covered with huge chunks of what appeared to be scraps, ends, and big, tough rind-like pieces. I couldn't find a single good piece of ham on the entire pizza. Although we had paid for delivery, they said I'd have to return the food myself, so I drove both items back to the restaurant. The guy there, maybe the manager, asked if I had returned the two 20 oz. Cokes. I said no, so he charged us for those, plus the delivery fee and tip, and refunded only the food I returned. So we still paid $11.50 and ended up with no dinner. I agreed to leave the driver's tip because none of this was the driver's fault, but I was surprised the restaurant didn't simply refund the entire order and apologize. Had they done that, we probably would have given them another chance. Instead, there was no apology and no apparent concern about losing longtime customers. This came just a couple of weeks after a plain cheese pizza arrived looking like it had been dropped or tipped on its side, with much of the cheese slid across and piled up on one side of the pizza. The crust is just right, the little pepperonis curl up perfectly around the edges, and there's a great balance between the cheese and crust. Their white pizza with spinach and tomato is my absolute favorite. I also really like their sausage pepperoni (the sausage is ground) and it's delicious. The reheated in store slices are fantastic. They put them back in the oven, and they come out absolutely delicious and crispy. The reason I'm giving 4 stars overall is the dining area. There's minimal ventilation, and the dining room can sometimes be a bit messy. I'd recommend getting your pizza to go or keeping your expectations modest when it comes to the seating area. The pizza itself is absolutely worth it!
