We have only been here twice but will definitely be a go to spot! The first trip my husband and I got the meatball and the sausage casserole! Both were delicious and the portions were big enough for us to have lunch the next day! We also had an appetizer that was more like a meal that we shared. It was fresh cut fries with Nashville hot boneless wings on top with cheese and pickles!!The second trip I had the chicken parmigiana and he had the Italian hoagie with fresh cut fries !The servers on both trips were very informative and attentive! We've been here several times now, and the food is always a delicious, cheesy, belly busting treat! My daughter LOVES that they give you popcorn while you wait. The stuffed peppers were absolutely delicious. I think that I'll probably always get their gyro from now on. The meat was very tender and it was large pieces rather than skinny slices. I order from this establishment at least 3 times a month. Usually, it's pretty good. On this occasion, all 3 of my pepperoni rolls were burnt. I had also ordered pub fries, which were inedible. They were so hard, it's almost like they put them back in the fryer to reheat them. I don't believe they would have served this to anyone in the dining room, but I had delivery, so they went ahead and sent it. I mentioned it on Facebook on one of their posts, and they got offended and blocked me! They've lost a good paying customer. Oh, and they charge a "technology fee" if you order online. read more

We ordered 1 calzone and 1 buffalo chicken wrap. The calzone came out in about 20 minutes, but no wrap. Another 10-15, still nothing. Our waitress is communicative and trying to get us our food, but she says the kitchen is delayed. Another 20 minutes and we're still missing half the meal. The losers in the kitchen weren't capable of turning a chicken wrap around in less than an hour. Finally I ask for the check so we can leave. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE! Every time I drive by, the parking lot is full, and for good reason. The bar and dining area (inside) are both dimly lit. The vibe is definitely neighborhood bar/restaurant. They have maybe 4 booths, a couple high tops, and a few tables outside. There are also a few barstools. We had the tossed salad, which was massive, 2 slices of cheese pizza, and the pepperoni rolls. First of all, the pepperoni rolls are INSANE. Completely blew me away. They come three to an order and they're huge, crispy on the outside, garlicky, a little sprinkle of parm, and a side of marinara. The inside is perfectly soft and cheesy. I will get them every single time I come here. Now, the pizza. The slices are also huge and only $2.99 each. I don't know where you can get a better deal. The slice is the size of two, the crust is crispy, the sauce has a great flavor, and the cheese is plentiful. The only thing that we didn't love was all of the popcorn on the floor The place does smell like a movie theatre and there's popcorn for everyone! We had the BEST lunch at Pepperoncinis! We came in early on a Sunday and had the whole back room to ourselves. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and consistently checked in on us. The menu had something for everyone, even those with dietary restrictions (dairy-free & vegetarian). Our group of 7 all ordered different sandwiches and rolls, and there wasn't one complaint! I highly recommend the chicken parm hoagie (the buns were toasted garlic bread) and upgrading to the fresh-cut French fries... so much yum!! I often stop in here when I am visiting Helicon Brewery, or riding my bicycle on the Panhandle Trail (which is right behind the restaurant). Since Helicon doesn't have a kitchen, they allow outside food to be brought in and/or delivered (they also have food trucks certain days). Helicon keeps a Pepperoncini's menu at the bar, and in between beer and pinball games, I'll call in my order, wait 10~15 minutes, and walk across the street to pick it up, then walk back to the brewery to eat, and have another beer. I usually get their Steak, Egg, and Bacon sub. That was always my go to at Uncle Sams and Peps can definitely give it a rub for their money. Great sandwich. My wife has gotten various sandwiches or salads. Sometimes she and my kids get pizza. They enjoy the pizza too. The fries are kind of like shoestring that are like fresh cut. I'd like to try them fresh because I think they lose a little something on the take out end. Take out service is good. Great option if you are at the brewery. They will deliver there too I believe. First world problems alert!!! If you order wings, or really anything from Pepperoncini's Pub in Oakdale beware. We like to support local and have spent thousands at this establishment over the years. Ordered a treat today, wings for my husband I and they are expensive. Its ok, its a treat. We ordered two flavors, the website put it through but only the Buffalo came. No biggie, call and fix it... nope. They say you can't split it. Nothing says that when you put the order through, the receipt shows both flavors, but they refuse to make it right. They charge now for delivery, wings and a cheese calzone came almost $60 and they won't honor what we ordered. Spoke to the manager Kristen, she says "Next time you will know." Why not just call us and say, hey, we can't split the flavor. Bad customer service, bad look Pep's. read more

I won't be ordering from the local establishment again. I live 10 min max from their location. I ordered a delivery at 4;30 in the evening was told an hour for delivery. Driver shows up 20 min late which is fine and sort of expected on a Friday. Problem is, is that the the pizza was ice cold as if it was not even in a warm bag. When I called back and asked for a manager that managers advise was was to drive the pizza back to their store and they would look at it to see what to do. This was after being on hold for 15 min.
