Came here on the way to the airport after trying a location closer to where I live. Pizza has been great to go, decided to stop in and get slices for a quick lunch. Staff was great, pizza came out quick after picking which I wanted. Only thing that kept this from 5 stars was the plain slice was pretty burnt on the bottom. Not the type of burnt like a thin, coal fired pizza, this was just genuinely burnt. Didn't get a picture but the pepperoni slices were fine! And they tasted great. A bit more crust on the slices than I'm used to but this place remains one of the better slices in Pittsburgh. read more

Slice on Broadway is a pretty good pizza place, even though it can get a little smoky inside. Definitely better than average but not top ten. Service is normally pretty good although this time we stood at the register with nobody there, waiting to order for a little longer than necessary. Only one person was behind the counter, making dough, so we had to wait for another to come from the back. Not a big deal but feel like I have to mention it. Slice on Broadway, in general, is a hit or miss. This time, it was a miss. I ordered extra cheese and they cooked the heck out of my order and essentially gave me cheese crisps. Service is usually friendly and greets you quickly upon entering establishment. Pizza shop is kept tidy. read more

Tried the square pizza, just plain cheese- it was really good. I think when you get a "slice" it is never as good as a fresh pizza, but the flavors were still good. Maybe they didn't reheat it long enough b/c the crust wasn't crispy and the center of the slice was barely warm. Obviously fast service and only $5 for lunch was nice. The store was open and bright, but wasn't the cleanest place. It's still worth trying, the flavor is good. read more

I'm not afraid to pay more for good food if I think it's worth it. I didn't think it was worth it.... I got 2 slices. One pepperoni and one buffalo chicken. $9. The pepperoni was ok. Not bad but nothing that would bring me back. The buffalo chicken was a complete let down. Could not taste the buffalo sauce at all and the entire slice had one tiny little cube of chicken. It literally had zero flavor. Not worth anywhere near $4+. I'd rather go to Sam's club and get a whole pie with a million more toppings for less money. I stopped here out of convenience. A smooth process ordering online, a warm welcome upon arrival at pickup, efficient service, and a delicious za! We enjoyed the Hawaiian Pizza and "The Little Guy" salad. The restaurant is cute and there are a lot of places to sit. The cheese pizza was really good. The buffalo chicken lacked flavor, and it tasted like bagged chicken. I can't recommend the buffalo chicken, but I did like the plain cheese slice. The service was qui k and staff was friendly! Wonderful lunch place...go in even if no one else is there! We got there on Sunday a little after it opened and there was one man leaving and one man picked up a to go but that was it! We ordered each a slice and shared a steak and onion roll. We waited about 5 minutes and then an employee brought out our food. We both thought the pizza was good...cheese and dough fantastic! The roll was good but really great when dipped into the ranch. We want to try some other options the next time we are on the area. read more

I got a pizza that was way different than what I ordered, bizarre even but I was hungry so I ate it. Cold. Why? Because it was delivered to the hotel entrance where it was 32 outside and left for over 30 minutes even though it was to be brought to my hotel room door. The duplication of the original seems to always leave you with a faded image. Not that it is a bad copy, but a copy nonetheless is not the original. I've had Slice on Broadway ON Broadway and was never disappointed. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and an Italian hoagie. The hoagie was not good at all. I didn't finish it. The lettuce was an unusually green leafy lettuce; almost spinach like. Not something I've ever seen on a hoagie. The dressing was off; not quite Italian dressing, not quite balsamic dressing? Still not sure. The pizza was the only thing that kept this trip from being a total waste of money. It was okay. Like I said earlier, it was like someone tried to copy the original slice. Pizza was bland. Over priced. I ordered a small pizza with three topping and it cost 27 dollars after taxes. It was an 8 cut pie. The slices were half the size normal sized slice. The counter lady did not greet me. Bad customs serve. the cooks were loud talking over any conversation you could have ordering. I would definitely not suggest this place to anyone. It was like blaze pizza. But way more expensive. read more

I always go in here when shopping around in Robison for a quick slice or 2. I love the convenience of a quick slice or 2 of pizza without ordering a whole pizza. It's always good size slices, good price and the service is quick and timely. They have quick bar seating along the walls and tables if you want to relax. Pizza is pretty average pizza, thin and good but big slices. The convenience, quality customer service, and and food always makes me appreciate how it is. Not enough places sell pizza by the slice. read more

The BEST NY STYLE--thin, large, tasty! It gets pretty busy on Fridays, so order ahead if you can. The last time I ordered to go, I ate a slice in the car before I pulled away, and another slice at the red light at the top of the hill! I had a coupon for Buy a large, get a 12" free. Unfortunately, a plain large was $20 with tax! The small pizza was burned on the bottom and the crust tasted like crackers. The large crust was a bit better but there was hardly any cheese on it. Will not order again. I will go to Garden of Eating where you get two pizzas for $25 and twice as much crust and cheese and it tastes much better. read more

This experience started out with my husband calling at 630pm to make sure you could "dine in". We were on our way to the airport and wanted to grab pizza on the way. The girl that answered the phone said "yes, but we close at 8." We thought this was a little odd since that was 90 min away and we were going to be there in a few minutes. We arrived to an empty restaurant a few min before 7. When we asked to order and dine in the girl ( I am assuming this is the same girl from the phone) says "yes but we close at 8" . Ok, we got it! We won't keep you! We proceeded to order a pizza and a salad. Our food took 35 min to come out and the pizza was burnt. Now we are familiar with Slice of Broadway ( used to get it at Prates games all the time) and we're looking forward to it. I can handle a little dark crust but the majority was inedible. I picked at what I could. The whole time we were eating she was pushing and stacking chairs behind us very loudly and then was mopping right next to us. When we got up to leave she tells us "the garbage is up front for you to take care of your trash". I am familiar with and have no problem with the establishments that have you take care of your own dishes but that was just the icing on top of a horrible experience. I only wished we had waited to tip until we were done but of course we had added it when we ordered and paid. Our mistake! read more

My favorite flavors are the mango habanero and the spicy lime, but there are still so many flavors I'm excited to try. I also love ordering a side of seasoned fries and garlic bread to dip into the extra wing sauce!! Their fries and garlic bread are crispy to perfection; you genuinely won't find better anywhere else. I also tried the chicken bacon ranch pizza as per their recommendation, and it was soooo cheesy and yummy! Aside from the food being so delicious, my favorite part about coming here is the sense of community you get. They have couches and TVs where customers love to sit to enjoy their food, and it makes for a super cozy and comfortable environment. I also notice so many regulars who love this restaurant and come back either weekly or daily, and it really shows how great the store's bond is with their customers. This is probably my go-to spot to show people when they visit Pittsburgh because it really highlights the city in such a positive light. If I had to recommend one spot in Pittsburgh, it would be this one!!!!
