Their Wine Down Wednesday is such a great deal with specials on bottles of wine. I had the spinach strawberry almond salad with blackened salmon, feta and onions and it was absolutely delicious!! Their white French dressing is a MUST - it's so good they even sell their dressings to take home... and yes, I bought the white French to bring home with me! The chicken special, Pollo Jordano, was amazing too -- made with spinach, sundried tomatoes, and a garlic white wine sauce. Sooooo good!! Bella's is a really good old school Italian spot. It is small inside and gets busy, so make sure to make a reservation. They are known for their "spots", which is a delicious fish entree. They are done perfectly here and are super flavorful. Another good dinner pick is their chicken Romano. So fresh and delicious. One of the better lunch options is the Reuben which I had recently. To start the service is great and our lack luster experience is not something our great waitress could save. The bread that we started off with was almost stale? I have to guess it was just sitting out all evening. I ordered the piccata and my husband got the linguini with clams. I got my piccata with a veggie side. I 100% misheard our server when she said what it was.... It was a bowl of corn??? What "Italian" restaurant serves corn?! The piccata was lack luster but at least the chicken wasn't dry! My husband said his dish wasn't bad but the muscles were not cleaned very well. He enjoyed how garlicky the sauce was. Visiting PA and my friend took me to dinner here. I got the stuffed shrimp. It was delicious. Cooked to perfection and the taste was wonderful. He had gotten the Stuffed Brandno and he preferred my shrimp even over his fish. Definitely recommend. You will not be disappointed. They also make a good drink. read more

We sat in the bar, since my MIL prefers it and the service and food were great. The bartender was also super friendly, tho we didn't order from her at all directly. I hadn't been there since the name change. They didn't seem to do anything to remodel, so it's a bit dated still, but it's nice enough and I care a lot more about food and service. I'd definitely return if it were a more convenient location for where I live. I'm sure I'll go back at some point anyway, since I have family down that way. read more

We had an amazing experience here. Our server was absolutely fabulous and so is the ambience. I had the chicken Maria, which was the die for and I highly recommend it. So we were staying in the area and did not wanna go into the city. So I found this spot on yelp. I called in a made a reservation, this I would recommend. We came on a Friday at 5 pm and it was busy. It's full of families, groups for parties and it seemed to steer a bit older but that's ok. It's pretty much old school inside, photos of Italy, assorted paintings but it does need a slight refresh. When we were seated we went thru this area that made me think of that one shot from the movie Goodfellas. Our server Scotty and the rest of the staff is really kind and friendly. They brought out some bread and butter. It was in a basket and covered We figured it was warm/hot.. nope and the butter was hard. It's minor but I just found it odd. We ordered the calamari fried, it was good not great. Some of it was perfectly fried some of it was rubbery. We both got a veal dish. Me the Veal Piccata the. veal was delicious but the piccata sauce was really lemony. Like it made you pucker.. it was a nice sauce but it was a bit too acidic. My husband got the veal parmigiana and it was delicious. Meals come with either soup or salad and or pasta or some other starch or vegetables. We both got the pasta it was bow tie it was cooked pretty good the sauce was nice but it was lukewarm. We shared a piece of tiramisu and I got a snifter of Frangelico. The dessert was just right not too sweet and the nuttiness of the Frangelico was lovely. They have specials and a big enough menu to satisfy anyone. They have a full bar and you can get wine too. We have patronized Bella's (DeLallo's) for 25 years ... I never post in a public form without first having a face-to-face discussion with the restaurant manager or owner. In this case, the face-to-face discussion failed ... we were told to "mention it next time" Tonight's experience as a party of 5 was simply unacceptable ... -Appetizers (approximately $15 each) were burnt -Waters not refilled, and wine glasses (big moneymaker) sat empty for 30+ minutes -After finishing our soup and salad, we waited 45 minutes for entrées with no explanation or acknowledgment of the delay. Many other tables were served before us -When our meals finally arrived, they were cold or overcooked (including a $54 veal chop) -A $41 steak ordered medium arrived raw and bloody. After being sent back and waiting another 20 minutes, it was still incorrect. While it was comped, no apology was offered for the guest who sat without a meal while others ate. Mistakes happen ... what disappointing is the complete lack of acknowledgment from the server, manager, or owner. Being told to "mention it next time" is not an acceptable response, particularly when a check is more than $300 pre-tip. We left without ordering dessert or after dinner drinks, which would have easily added another $75 to the check. You need to do better! read more

I felt like Bella's had more focus on quantity than quality when we stopped in for lunch. They were fairly crowded for weekday lunch but were seated immediately. They had an extensive menu, with entrees including soup or salad and a side. I had the chicken Parmesan with a side of pasta and wedding soup. We hadn't been in awhile since the name change. When we went out service was okay, not great like it used to be. Might've just been the particular server. Food was good, but again we felt it wasn't as great as it used to be. The sauce for the scallops was way too garlicy and not as creamy as it used to be. Again it wasn't awful, but we used to go there all the time when it was dellalos and everytime food and service was excellent. Just feel this time around it was very lack luster. We visited Bella's on Fort Couch Road on Thursday Dec 4th. My wife ordered the Strawberry Salad, I ordered the Chopped Salad, and we both ordered cups of Wedding Soup. The salads were good, but the Wedding Soup was very good. About 2 small meatballs in each cup and generous chunks of chicken. I enjoyed the soup so much I got a frozen quart to go. The Togo soup was a huge disappointment! Not one meatball or piece of chicken in the quart! Do NOT order the frozen Wedding Soup! It was a very poor value! $10 for broth, a little pasting, and a few greens! read more

Another 5 star review for one of my favorite places to go in the south hills ! This time, I'm adding that their filet is incredible, steaks are always perfectly done, and I asked if I could add a couple scallops and it was no problem at all. So glad I did because I felt like I was at a top notch restaurant on mount washington! Also, if you have never tried the muscles, GET THEM! I've tried about every appetizer they have to offer, as they are all excellent, this one took the cake. The flavors of the spicy tomato sauce and the muscles went so good together, I will probably be running back just for this alone. The wait staff is always amazing, making you feel at home... I say, take a seat on the lounge side and let Delallos' service and amazing food do all the rest. What a wonderful evening! read more

Nice classic Italian restaurant! The atmosphere is classy, but welcoming when you step inside. There are 2 large rooms with table and booth seating and a bar section. They sat us early for our reservation and they had a cute rose on our table for Valentine's Day. Our waiter Scott was the best! He was funny, happy to answer all our questions, and gave us recommendations. We never felt rushed and he came by to check on us at the perfect times. The menu is filled with homemade Italian classic dishes. I ordered the chicken parmesan, which also came with a salad, Italian bread basket, and a side of pasta with my sauce choice. The salad had typical ingredients of lettuce, cucumber, carrots, tomato, and onions, as well as a hot pepper and 2 olives. The ranch dressing had good flavor but wouls have liked it a bit thicker to stay on the salad. The size of the chicken parmesan was massive. 2 large pieces, breaded thinly and coated in marinara and cheese. The chicken was tender and flavorful, nicely balanced with the sweet marinara sauce on top. My side of pasta was a good combo with the chicken, a small bowl of bowtie noodles with sauce. It didn't have a lot of flavor alone, but mixed well with a bite of chicken. Prices were reasonable too for the amount of food we received. Overall a good experience for a classic home-cooked meal feel. read more

I met a friend for dinner here last Wednesday. I was shocked to see how busy this place was on a Wednesday. We made a reservation and I'm glad we did! The bar is on one side of the building and the restaurant is on the other side. They had a blackened salmon special that day so I got that. It was drizzled with a lime crema. It came with soup or salad (I chose salad) and a side: I chose a baked potato. They also serve bread and butter for the table. Everything was delicious. Our waitresses were both very kind and helpful. I've never heard of this place before my friend mentioned it, but I would definitely return. read more

Old school Italian fare! We went for a birthday and had excellent service. The pasta is handmade and our whole table enjoyed everything that we ordered. I myself had the homemade cheese ravioli - very generous portion and plenty of filling. I will say this is a more quiet restaurant (bringing in our loud 2 year old had us kind of sticking out like a sore thumb) - bring some snacks and entertainment for the kiddos to keep on the quieter side.
