My mom, Friend, and I went to bonefish for the last Friday of rent. The food was delicious atmosphere was typical restaurant and the service was a bit unlike I'm used to for a bonefish Grill. I got the soup and salad bunch combo, which was a chowder and fish tacos. It was delicious. My friend got the soup and sandwich combo also but got fish and chips. This is where it felt like this restaurant was understaffed for the amount of people that arrived for Good Friday lunch. My friend had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for our server to come back to get malt vinegar for her fish and chips which caused her food to get a bit cold. I definitely recommend the chowder!!! Overall, I wouldn't let this stop me from going back to bonefish. I've always had great experiences there and it wasn't the server's fault that there was an influx of traffic that may have been unprecedented for staffing decisions. read more

Classic win at Bonefish Grill. The Ocean Mixed Grill for Two is a legit deal and seriously delicious. You each get a soup or salad -- the Brussels sprout salad surprised me in the best way. Must-start: Bang Bang Shrimp (always a no-brainer). Two premium sides to share -- truffle fries and crispy cauliflower were both easy yeses. Sharable and all delicious , ahi-tuna, salmon, mahi-mahi and mango salsa shrimp. We paired it with a bottle of DAOU Pessimist (Paso Robles red blend) -- smooth and a perfect match. My family (4 of us) went to the one near South Hills Village in Pittsburgh for dinner. W E have been to Bonefish many times and loved it. On June 17th they let us down. My aunt and I preferred the Mahi Mahi which we were very excited about. To our disappointment in was very well done and tough to chew. We were out there location today for lunch at 2:30 this afternoon. My friend ordered a margarita. It was served in a Tumbler... Not in a margarita glass. First time in my life, I've ever seen that and .....I own a restaurant. There were 8-people in the restaurant when we walked in and we waited 45 minutes for a hamburger and shrimp salad. The beef patty was exactly the same size as McDonald's. Except McDonald's has a better burger. $25 for a horrible burger. My friend ordered a shrimp salad. She received five shrimps and about a pound of red leaf lettuce. The manager told us she would discount our bill because of the 45 minute wait for the hamburger. She never did that. Therefore, we took that discount out on our waitress. Left her a zero tip. Let me not forget to mention that our waitress was also the bartender for the entire restaurant. And well, we all know how that works for the customer in the end. Horrible food Horrible service They lost 2-customers. read more

Wednesday is Bang Bank Shrimp Special. Great deal at $7 but the place was very cold inside. How can you enjoy dinner and spirits while shivering from the cold. I just wanted to eat, pay my bill and get out of there to warm up in my car. Try eating dinner with a heavy coat on. I'm sure the kitchen is warm where the servers congregate but the dining had no heat. This seems like the norm in most restaurants today. Had a very good dinner here with good service. My wife had salmon I tried a steak, very good quality food, well prepared. This is a solid, high-end chain, restaurant, that is family friendly. They also feature special multicourse dinners . The restaurant was crowded the night we were there because many were taking advantage of this. We went for the wine pairing event. my only complaint is there's too many people because of that the food isn't hot, so your not getting the full flavor experience for me fish, shrimp are best served hot. also the presentation was horrible looked thrown together. Celebrated our daughter's birthday here with a late dinner for six of us and enjoyed every moment. I had the chicken egg roll with salad which was delicious and my wife had the crab cakes with mashed potatoes and green beans-they were also delicious and the crab was very fresh tasting and cooked to her request. The bread and dipping oil and butter was sooo good-it was hard to stop! Bang bang shrimp and the Bang bang chicken apps were so flavorful as well. Dessert was a perfect ending to a perfect meal.Beautiful restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Now for the best of the best: our server, Roey, was such a nice guy and so personable that we felt like family (our (adult) kids had been acquainted with him as their server twice before and highly recommended him-so we requested him. Had a wonderful dinner this evening at the bonefish Grill. The meal started with warm bread which is not something seen very often. Our appetizer of bang bang shrimp was excellent and better than similar dishes I've had elsewhere. I opted to have lobster ravioli and my dinner companion had serf and turf ordered medium. It was initially a little on the rare side but our server was extremely attentive and offered to cook it a little bit more without even being asked. This is exactly the kind of high quality service I expect when I'm paying for a dinner. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive throughout our dinning experience which makes the difference between eating and dinning. We capped the evening with a dessert of seasonal Crème Brûlée and a brownie. Both were exceptional. The restaurant was an excellent experience all around for light fare, a comprehensive dinning experience, or cocktails. This is the perfect example of everything a restaurant can and should be. I tried this restaurant for the first time for my birthday. The food was delicious! The service was quick and friendly!

My friend I stopped for lunch a couple days ago. Although she'd been there before, this was my first time. It was such a nice day, we opted to eat outside, which was really nice. I wasn't really up for anything but a Diet Coke that day, but they have a really nice cocktail menu. I ended up ordering a special--halibut with a creamy, lemony spinach sauce, topped with crabmeat, garlic mashed, and the veg du jour turned out to be broccoli. Warm focaccia bread with dipping oil came first, and that was tasty. The whole meal was just great! It was a nice piece of halibut, flaky, and the sauce and crab were a great addition to it. The garlic mashed was good, and I'm not sure how they did the broccoli, but it, too, was wonderful! I got about halfway through and had to have them box up the rest. (It was just as good the next day!) I'm afraid I can't remember what my friend ordered, I know there was shrimp and jasmine rice, but she loved it. Our server was terrific as well. He was friendly and helpful, and just the right amount of attentive. Might've been my first time there, but it won't be the last! Yummy!! read more
