Fish n Sam Adams Fish & Chips & Crispy Calamari

Service was Great!! Samual Adam's fish was fresh & crispy. Calamari was not crispy and too greasy. Unfortunately both meals were lukewarm. Tables were worn, top clear coat was gone and sticky.

I visited Mitchell's probably a good 8 years ago and at that time the food was not very memorable. Fast forward to this past weekend, I gave it another shot as it was next to where I was running some errands. Through a quick yelp search I found that they run Happy Hour on most days with decent options. Opted for the fried calamari, fried fish sandwich with fries and a draft beer. First came the warm toasted sourdough bread with whipped butter. Nice start and delicious with the soft butta melting on the warm slices. Calamari had a light breading and not greasy. It included some fried vegetables like green beans and bell peppers. The chili soy dip it came with I did not prefer, I would have been happy with some type of cocktail or creamy spicy dip perhaps. The crispy fish sandwich and fries knocked my socks off. The panko crusted fish had a strong crunch that defines what crispy should be. It was not at all fishy and not dry at all. The tartar sauce spread went perfect with it and the fries also had no complaints there. I washed it all down with a $4 draft and was left satisfied. The server, I missed her name, was extremely polite and did a fantastic job. Her smile, attitude and follow-up skills made me feel welcomed. It was the highlight of the visit. Happy Hour is a thumbs up.

Mitchell's seafood restaurant in the Galleria has some awesome happy hour specials... their drinks are yummy and their food is delicious.... and a good selection on their happy hour menu But the last two times we've been there our server has been lacking And it's been the same guy But I like the restaurant

I had a great dinner tonight. Started with a great Malbec which was so delicious with the walleye , a new menu entre I was told. I have to send a pic of the desert because it was unbelievable!

    Squash soup a standout

Abundant parking in the Mount Lebanon Galleria. This is a small chain, most locations in Michigan, that is part of the Landry's organization. But, honestly, I had to read the fine print to know this was part of Landry's. We dined on Thanksgiving. Fixed price but most dishes were from their usual menu, or so we were told. White table cloth but I would say jeans would be okay. Service excellent and hot dishes were piping hot! Excellent sourdough bread for starters. Beer selection just OK. Butternut squash soup amazing! Side salads ample. Wife had blackened sea bass with vegetables and mashed potatoes. Looked fresh and she declared it delicious. I had something called an American sampler or something like that. Lots of shrimp, mushrooms and tasty potatoes. The sauce described as cream sauce was more like a brown gravy. A good meal if not spectacular. Dessert of caramel chocolate cheesecake was very good. Coffee a bit bitter but, again, very hot. All in all a fine dinner and I'll be back.

Great dining at Mitchells at the mt lebo galleria

Everything. Terri our bartender was awesome. Helped with our seating. Very friendly. Great environment. Great food and drinks. We miss Jay.

Food was pretty good! The seafood is frozen and thawed by the restaurant before being cooked. Hushpuppies were delicious and did not contain any spice or peppers. The king crab legs were pretty good. They didn't taste mildewy or watery. I was even able to eat the meat at the bottom of the claw. Had to ask for them to be cut in the back. Came with utensils to open the claw without cutting your fingers. Mashed potatoes were real and not instant. They were a good consistency and not too dry or wet. I swapped my asparagus side for steamed green beans which were flavorful and tender. The drink menu was extensive. Our drinks (not pictured) were very strong. It was a 1 and done kind of night. The restaurant was overall clean but did give off chain restaurants vibes. It was well lit and the music was not too loud. Overall I would go back again for crab legs!

Mitchell's creamy and delicious crème brûlée.

I have eaten here many times and the seafood has always been fresh, cooked to perfection, and served promptly. My husband and I had a celebration of life for our mothers, who each passed the same week of September in different years. The staff was kind enough to bring us each a candle for one of our moms' favorite desserts, crème brûlée (our moms had good taste!).

It was refreshing to see customers decked out instead of the usual pgh hoodies/sweats. In Mt. Lebo, we visited for Pittsburgh Restaurant Week ((summer 2026)) to try out their prix fixe menu and was not disappointed. You have the option to add on wine pairing for an additional charge. Started off the experience w/ warmed bread & whipped honey/chive butter that they bring for the table. Mellow & light. It was good. But to me, the bread crust was a bit too hard. Drinks menu displayed a varied range of crafted cocktails, beer, carefully selected wine & NA drinks. Husband had the Brown Sugar Peach Bourbon Mule- oh so good-- the peach puree offset the bourbon and it was ah-mazing! I had a cosmo- balanced & not too tart- I absolutely loved it! For dinner, husband ordered the Almond Chicken on Parmesan risotto & sauteed spinach. Seriously goood! The chicken was breaded then roasted w/ some flavoring & almond slices -- accompanied by a brie cream sauce, risotto & spinach. The brie cream sauce & parm risotto didn't feel like cheese overload ((thank goodness)), it was the right amount of sauce : cheese ratio. A must order dish. Prix Fixe Starter was Steak Tacos 2/order. Char siu marinated skirt steak w/avo-corn salsa, feta was unbelievably refreshing & light and the steak was tender. Really, really good!! Entree was Pork Medallions ((2)) on a bed of crispy poblano polenta w/ a side of sunchokes on a hazelnut watercress pesto; a blueberry maple glaze topping off the entire dish. One of the best entrees I've had the pleasure of enjoying. The pork was super tender & moist-- each bite was Umami to me. I asked the waitress if the chef was thinkin of making this a regular menu item and hopefully they would. Husb thought it was delish too. He ofc had to have a "few" bites to taste lol! Dessert was a Cremeux- a mousse/pudding like dessert so so sooooo good! It had crushed almond streusel & dulce de leche de coco sauce. Husb found it too sweet, but I cherished it. This entire meal & experience was magnificent for the both of us. Most def comin back again & again! Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Drinks: 5/5 Food: 5/5

There is some seating inside, but it's mostly a takeout joint. Also note that the parking is a little awkward, with some level of uncertainty around whether you might be blocked in. Other than that, this seems like a pleasant and well-run establishment. Our order was ready to go exactly when it was expected to be. In terms of the food, almost everything was fantastic. The salad rolls (fresh rolls) were excellent. A nice combination of flavors and textures, with just enough basil and lettuce flavor and crunch. The accompanying dipping sauce was equally good. The rolls also look significantly better than the photos on the web site. The tom yum soup was equally flavorful and well crafted. I generally stand at the ready with extra fish sauce and a squeeze of lime, but that was completely unnecessary here. The papaya salad was a bit of a miss, and the woon sen pad Thai was as well. Both seemed a little flat and in need of extra flavor. The red curry and sweet and sour stir fry were both excellent. Taken as a whole, everything was great. We opted for spiciness levels between 6 and 8 for various items, and that seemed like a good range for us. All told, this is an excellent destination. It's not the world's most convenient location, but it's among the better Thai restaurants I've tried in Pittsburgh. Well worth checking out.

On our 34th wedding anniversary last year we decided to try Firebird's. We met waitress Tammy, she was amazing. She gives excellent service, so personable, and the food was amazing. We have visited again several times and the service and food has been excellent. This year we celebrated my husband's 79th birthday on Memorial Day with 15 members of our family and the service, food and drinks impressed my whole family. Once again amazing! One month later in June my husband and I were diagnosed with aggressive blood cancers. It was devastating and treatment had been brutal. But a few days late we decided to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. So tonight we took one of our son's, grandson's and we went to Firebird's for our first outing since starting cancer treatments. Of course we chose Firebird's. Happy accident we got Tammy as our waitress. So much fun to be out and having fun with family. The four of us had an amazing meal, so much fun and excellent service. Firebird's didn't disappoint!

The manager makes rounds to every table, and the staff is always attentive and fantastic. The steaks and cocktails are out of this world, and we always have to get the cheesesteak egg rolls. The scalloped potatoes are also so good. The atmosphere is definitely high-end with dim lighting and low, comfortable seating, which makes it feel intimate and cozy. We did have one experience with table neighbors who apparently needed phone flashlights to read their menus and were constantly moving them around --but that was definitely a them problem, not a restaurant problem. And yes, you will leave smelling like liquid smoke. Personally? I consider that a win. Our favorite place for a date night, a nice dinner, or just when we want a steak that never disappoints. Absolutely recommend!
