    Filet Mignon 10oz

We had an event yesterday in one of their private spaces. There was a screen available for a presentation. The room was fairly small but fit a good amount of people with 4-5 people at each table. Our service was prompt and pretty quickly. The food itself was pretty good. We got four types of bread in the bread basket and it was piping hot which was lovely and our server was nice enough to bring us more butter when I asked. The salad was fine. The filet mignon was pretty good as was the mashed potatoes. I didn't really care for the creamed spinach. I did surprisingly really enjoy the flourless chocolate espresso cake.

Stopped in recently for the wine and wagyu deal. I really wish these burgers would stay on the menu at all times. The wagyu blue cheese and truffle burger is outstanding. All of their burgers here are some of the best in the Pittsburgh area. So flavorful and always cooked perfectly.

The ambience was perfect. Our table was set for our celebration. Our server J was outstanding. My Filet Mignon was perfectly prepared. We were surprised with a beautifully plated dessert to end an amazing experience. I can't wait to return to The Capital Grille!

Phenomenal experience at The Capital Grille. Had a reservation for our anniversary dinner at 7:30pm on a saturday night and sat down right at our reserved time, not a minute later. Quinn was our server and she did an exceptional job. Drinks were good. Food was phenomenal. Highly recommend for a solid fine dining experience.

Scallops with a lobster risotto. Delicious!!!

amazing experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding, the cocktails were incredible, and the atmosphere was perfect--classy yet comfortable, ideal for a business casual outing. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I had the scallops with lobster risotto, which was simply to die for, and the crème brûlée dessert was just as unforgettable. Everything was flawless, and I'm already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for the exceptional experience--5 stars, without a doubt!

Since I wanted to avoid mischoice, I visited the Capital Grill in Pittsburgh. I think it is admirable that the Capital Grill maintains the same quality and hospitality in each restaurant. The sesame-seared tuna with gingered rice was an interesting dish to me. The sauce was a bit spicy to me and I may prefer soy sauce to it. The raisin walnut bread and onion bread were delicious. I also like the thick and hearty lobster bisque. I like their cheesecake so much! Since it was large to me, I ate 1/5 of it with berries and took the rest of it with me. The woman who served these dishes was very attentive and kind. This restaurant's hospitality is amazing. There was a large dining hall but there were also partitioned spaces. I was able to relax there.

Update: this is still our go to steak restaurant as the Kona never disappoints. Coupled with the ambience, ease of parking with valet on most nights (now $12), and fantastic wait staff (huge shout out to Carlo!). I wouldn't celebrate a special occasion anywhere else.

What a beautiful dinner! It was my boyfriends birthday and they gave us a nice booth set off from the main area and put the cutest confetti on the table. Our server (Mark?) was excellent, so attentive and great with suggestions. I loved the margarita, especially the cup as I felt like it kept the drink colder and crisper. The bacon appetizer was okay. The sauce was delicious but the bacon was fattier than I expected. The goat cheese salad was amazing and huge. My boyfriend really enjoyed the French onion soup. His surf and turf was large and perfectly cooked. My roast chicken was tender and divine and the risotto was delicious. The birthday dessert was the highlight. The flourless Espresso cake was to die for. We absolutely loved this dinner and look forward to returning!

I can't remember the last time I was at the Capital Grille. It's expensive, but the service and quality make it worth the price sometimes. My water was refilled almost too much. The service was wonderful. I'd never had a piece of tuna as large as what I got and they prepared it super rare as I requested. It was delicious. The vibe is a bit dark/fancy for my tastes (I'm more into modern looking than old school stuffy), but the service and food make up for that. I'm sure I'll return now that I remember how close it is to the theatres. I forget it's there.

    How much is valet parking?

$7 iirc. Was very reasonable compared to garage parking prices, definitely worth it

Does this location of The Capital Grille permit diners to bring their own wine, and if so, what is the corkage fee?

Thank you for the question, John. You are more than welcome to bring in a bottle from your personal collection. Corkage is currently $25 for a standard bottle and $50 for a magnum sized bottle.… Read more

Our table had two servers assigned to us, which was interesting. I'll be honest, I was skeptical of the prices and that I would leave hungry, but I was proven wrong! I was extremely full, and we went during happy hour so we got one of those deals! Split between 3 people, the bill was pretty reasonable! We each got a personalized wine flight. I got a rosé, Riesling, and Pinot Grigio - the rosé was my fav! Everything else we ordered: -Whipped Sheep's cheese w/ truffle honey + chips -Jamón & Manchego Croquetas (happy hour deal) -Patatas Bravas (happy hour deal) -Mussels + homemade sausage -Albondigas aka spiced meatballs (happy hour deal) -Bacon wrapped dates -Potato tortilla -Spiced beef empanadas -Espresso martini -Chocolate cake Overall I really enjoyed everything! Hard to pick a favorite, but I'd say my least favorite thing was the bacon-wrapped dates (I just don't eat dates very much). I was a little disappointed in the size of the empanadas, I'm used to eating bigger ones from other restaurants, but they were still very tasty! The food came out fast and was super fresh! Our main server Becca was funny, relatable, and really made this such a fun experience! She also treated us to the sangria chug (not sure if that's the official name but that's what I'm calling it lol). The dim lighting and dark decor makes a perfect ambiance for a girls night or date night!

I've only ever been for brunch and the offerings were delicious. We chose from an array of tapas that included olive oil pancakes, roasted carrots, gambas al ajillo, hummus, focaccia and more. I had a glass of Tierra Limpia (brut/sparkling) that was very good. The atmosphere is modern with European flair. Good service.

I went here today for brunch with my friend and we had the vegetarian empanadas. Wow. I think they were the most delicious ones I have ever had. That's saying a lot cuz I'm Latina. I'm very picky about my tuna - I only buy tuna from Basque Country in Spain. The salad was absolute perfection. The tuna was incredible. Each ingredient was fresh and absolutely wonderful. I liked the place. The only food similar to Argentina was the empanadas, but were really small for a $12.00 price point. The flan was really disappointing, they don't even put dulce de leche or cream on it, it tasted t like one bought at a supermarket, so dull and again $12.00 ?? The Milanese de pollo was really good but not close to Argentinian style, no fries no fried eggs included. My issue is that they use the Argentinian style label as a marketing tool and they are not even close. The price was ridiculously high for the experience.

After waiting 30 minutes for it, they decide to come out and tell me that they are out of bread pudding. It would've been beneficial to know that prior to paying, however, they did not even offer a refund. Instead, they told me they would give me a tiramisu instead. On day two, I placed an order for a salad with a chicken skewer upcharge. Upon getting my order and opening the container, I saw that the skewer was not in there despite being charged $10 for it. The other items here at the restaurant were not good, and I do not recommend this as they don't want to make good quality food. Lobster ravioli is pretty dry and tough to chew. Tiramisu is missing that earthy coffee flavor. Chicken caprese says that it comes with fresh mozzarella, however, they only gave us small circle of cheese on one side of the sandwich (covers about 1/4 of the sandwich). Do not get the truffle fries, they are the exact same taste as the normal fries. Last, the crab and shrimp dip is highly inconsistent. The first day, it was good and actually had pieces of shrimp. The second day, zero shrimp. In the end, this restaurant has several deficiencies that they do not seem willing to resolve.
