Pictures of this establishment are deceiving. Pictures look like there are alot of tables to sit down and eat your food, when in actuality there are two tables with a mirror that looks like there are about 20 tables to sit at. Pizza in picture looks thin, dark and appetizing. However, when you go into this pizzeria the pizza is thick, almost raw looking and unappetizing. Maybe it's hard to find good hrlp nowadays, but this is the second time I ordered a chicken Francaise pizza from them and it was flavorless. When it's in the glass case, it looks delicious. if you have one made,they don't include lemons there's no flavor and it tastes like cardboard. Pizza one! This place is up there with some of the better pizza places in the area .The menu is quite extensive . I mean you could literally sit there and contemplate for a hour lol. Ordered the Sicilian pie half plain half pepperoni and bacon. It was pretty good, sauce was light and dough was light . Ordered the rice balls as an appetizer, 3.99 each, trust me worth every penny. Huge amazing sandwhiches at a very reasonable price. Pizza One takes a page out of the Rutgers notebook by offering sandwhiches such as the Fat Bastard etc. If you don't know what that is, they are generally some combination of mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, cheesesteak, french fries, etc., on a hoagie roll. They come in 7" and 14" sizes, and apparently, if you eat 3 - 14" Fat Bastards, you get to name your own sandwich. I actually had a 7" Fat Rob which had some of the above mentioned plus lettuce, tomato, and tzatziki sauce (cuccumber and yogurt?). Great sandwhich. Difficult to finish. I assume a guy named Rob was able to eat 3 Fat Bastards. Staff was cool. Didn't seem stressed out or overworked. Big Fan. Don't really live too close to there, but I'm sure I'll go back. read more

This was my first time here, I'm from Jersey City was in the area and heard a lot about this place so decided to check it out. Let me start by saying that the employees were extremely nice they greeted us as soon as we walked in. We ordered two vodka margarita slices, chicken Caesar slice, pizza one fries, and macaroni and cheese slices. Amazing!!! The fries alone get the four stars, they were soooo good. They come with two different cheeses melted bacon and creamy ranch dressing, and they're not cheap with the fries at all you get what you pay for and then some. Everything else was ok I've had better pizza but the fries and macaroni and cheese slices gave us a reason to go back and try something different next time we're in Wayne. read more

Delicious New York style pizza. Only had the plain slice, it was the right amount of cheese and sauce. The crust was the almost thin , but not too much, like NY. The "margarita" style slice almost looked like it was a pita type dough, on the thin side, light but very tasty, with tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. read more

Just bought two slices asked for them to be nice and hot! So I get the slices they are barley even warm. I walked over to the garbage and threw em out! Normally I would have just brought em back up and asked them to stick the slices back in the oven. I've been this route with Pizza One before, they could care less if your foods hot. I just ordered Chicken Francese.... will I wish they would've had one more piece of chicken, I would also point out that I ordered no pasta in my order as well..... although I wish I had. This was the most delicious chicken francese I've ever had. The chicken was tender and juicy, the sauce was rich and buttery with just enough lemon to cut through but not to be bitter. This was my first visit to Pizza One. It was a Saturday at 4:30pm. This is primarily a take out pizza place but they have a few tables to dine-in. I've ordered delivered food before such as the Belmar tuna sandwich and pizza and they've been generally good. I ordered the tortellini marinara pasta and pasta fagioli soup at the counter where I paid. I took a seat and my meal arrived when it was ready. I watched the Food Network and college football while listening to adult contemporary music. Pizza One is a very popular food establishment. The place was packed with drivers coming and going. This is our go to "idk what I want for dinner" place for lunch at work & home. They have such a big menu that you never get bored of it here. Never got an order wrong, even when taking the big work orders. Always fun pie choices on display and they are all super tasty. Their salads are awesome too! Everything I've tasted was pretty good, but I crave their penne vodka like a pregnant woman...like writing this review makes me want some... Their pizza is alright but I don't think of this place when I crave pizza (oddly enough), but for anything else on the menu I think they nailed it. Inside is clean and comfortable. It gets to be pricey when you want to order more than one thing, but the portions are big. The only thing I DO NOT like is that I went there with the yelp coupon for 30% off and they seemed really annoyed with giving me the discount...like why offer your patrons a coupon if you don't want them to use it? Now I'm much too intimidated to use it again, oh well! I still love that penne vodka! read more

Love. Love. Love. this place. Grandma's Sicilian and Moe's Favorite are SLAMMIN! We only get delivery, but they're on par with their time estimates and the pizza's still hot. The only downside so far is that the last time we ordered, we weren't able to use the 15% off coupon for delivery (order-in or pickup only), and one slice of the Moe's was folded over, crust to center. Inconsistent food preparation and bad customer service. Their eggplant is great, but sometimes they don't put enough sauce on it and want to charge you when you ask for more. I never take the pasta and when I ask for extra sauce I have to argue with them about the extra charge. I've stopped by for a slice or two after work on several occasions. The decor is a bit nicer than your average pizzaria, and the staff is nice. The specialty pizza slices are interesting and often really delicious (a bit pricey at $3.60/slice, but that's for a really loaded specialty slice which is much better than average). High quality pizza parlor food. I tried an artichoke panini with pesto sauce. The panini was very very good. Bread was nice and crisp. The blend between the artichoke and pesto was fantastic. We ordered a pie to split as well. Upon receiving the pie, the cashier mistook me saying peppers for pepperoni. They were sincerely sorry. They urged us to take the pie, go enjoy it at home, and they would deliver the correct one free of charge; which they did. Very good service, very clean, and very good food. read more

My hubby is at the Atrium in Wayne. He was getting a little down with the meals...so we ordered out last night. We took the suggestion of the nurses and ordered from Pizza One. He had a Meatball Parm and I the a eggplant Parm 7in sandwiches. They were so good and so fresh, hot and generously filled.
