I received a phone call from a man that works there who was upset that I reported my wrong made order to Grubhub. He was just straight up rude about the whole thing when it was their mistake. He called Grubhub unethical because they issued me a refund for my order. If they are so unethical then maybe you shouldn't advertise your restaurant through them. I made an order on EAT24...when I made the order I got a phone call from both the restaurant and EAT24 asking me if my cash order was a prank and I told them no I wanted my food and I would be there at 1050 to pick up my food. I arrive at 1050 and they're closing down the shop, I tell them that I have an order for two pastas. The guy proceeds to take my money and tells me my food will be out in a few minutes. They all disappear in the back for 30 min while they reopen the kitchen and make my food from scratch. I wait patiently and let them know I am not very happy with the wait but it was what it was. When I got home, my meals were mixed up...I had vegetarian meal and a chicken vodka penne pasta....the vegetarian meal was supposed to have feta cheese, broccoli, mushrooms, and a bunch of other stuff that I would not want in my vodka sauce. I call the place up to let them know that they rushed my meal and didn't make the meal how I requested it and the guy argued with me saying he made it the way the receipt said....my receipt says different...so one meal was a cluster of tons of toppings and one meal is just plain fettuccine with no veggies protein or cheese -_-... Overall I like to get delivery from them when circumstances are right. They are fast and everything is pretty good. We will usually order some pizza and some of their chicken wings. I don't remember ordering pizza from here, but they have tons of options, other than pizza. Like fries! Buckets of fries! Literally, that's one of the options on the menu. "Bucket of Fries." They're pretty damn good, too. I've had the fried chicken, and various other OTP items. OTP=Other Than Pizza. When the Laser Library used to be next door, I'd walk on over. I was only asking for specials, and the guy makes a big deal out of it; Asking me what I was planning on getting, when the specials are going to make that decision for me if they're good enough. They ended up only having a 1 special for pizza, anbd it makes me wonder how many specials they have in total when it probably would've just taken less effort to read all of the specials in the first place. He also gave me a huge attitude when he said "no, you did not listen to what I said." Um, excuse you. Tonight, I was using a coupon from Groupon.com (not a Groupon); however, you purchase a coupon for Buy 1, Get 1 Free Pizza for a $1.00 charge for the coupon. The address on the coupon is clearly Pizza Man Pasadena at 1306 E Colorado Blvd in Pasadena, CA I ordered on the website, and selected "cash" and put in the special instructions that I was using a Buy 1, Get 1 coupon. When I arrived, the man who assisted me (I believe he was the owner) explained that he has tried to contact Groupon many times, and they will not send an email or refund the people who have purchased the coupon. He wanted to charge me full price; however, eventually we met on a price that wasn't as good as the coupon price; however, also was not full price. So...the actual food...it was actually really good. We ordered one large Mexican Pizza and one large Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza. As far as the coupon, I am not sure whether it is the fault of Groupon or the fault of this facility; however, sadly I have to say it tarnishes the reputation of the business because it seems like a company like Groupon would make a correction if the error was truly brought to there attention; however, I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. I am giving them 3 stars, for the owner being kind and bargaining on the price. If he would not have honored it at all, I would have given them a 1 star. The fries sometimes come a little soggy, sometimes the garlic bread is a little burned, but the chicken nuggets are yummy. Haven't had Pizza Man in 25yrs and it's just as good as it was way back when. The fried chicken is perfectly golden, moist, and tasty. The fried shrimp with seafood sauce...yummmm. Meatball Delight with pasta is flavorful. The Gourmet Pretzel Hotdog was good too. The service is great! The owner is friendly and attentive even though it got really busy. We arrive at The Langham Pasadena at 10pm and were in search of a late dinner option. The Pizza Man was still open and willing to deliver -- and we couldn't be more pleased with our delicious meal!! We enjoyed an extensive meal ---- avocado cheeseburgers, make your own salads, penne pasta with chicken, pizza, chicken strips & tater tots. Everything was fresh and tasty!! The salads had crisp lettuce and a great selection of fresh vegetables. We really appreciated the late night service and attention to quality. We will take photos next time. Wife and I got a menu stuck in the railing at our building, figured we'd give it a try since it has a gluten-free option as well as vegan cheese. Looking at the menu it reminded me of like a Blaze Pizza type place with the big selection of toppings and you get to pick a bunch and blah blah blah, just the delivery version. TL;DR: it is basically a Blaze Pizza type place, but delivery. So if you dig that you're golden. I got a traditional crust with cheese and pepperoni, pretty flimsy and it was one of those kinds of pies where your first bite tears off all the cheese and most of the toppings leaving you holding a bread handle slathered in tomato sauce. The wife's GF pizza with vegan cheese arrived just the Hoth side of lukewarm and was mostly cold by the time she packed it in. We got wings in case the pizza was rough and sadly, they were pretty rough as well. We got garlic-parmesan for the sauce, and I will say that the wings themselves were big and meaty and pretty good, but the sauce was kinda sad. Not much flavor in general. The wings would have been baller if I had gone with classic mild or hot buffalo sauce. In the end the wife ate three slices and folded up the box after that. It is kind of hard to mess up pizza. The two times I have gotten delivery from this place, the pizza is somehow burned on the top of the crust and soggy/almost uncooked on the bottom. If other reviews say it too, it doesn't take Gordon Ramsey to tell you that your oven if not working properly, or you need to learn how to use it. The pizzas I got this time were salvageable by sticking them for 5 minutes on a cast iron skillet to properly cook the underside since the topside was semi-burnt.
