This was a pretty good pizzeria with an absolute stellar location. Normally when you eat at a location like this the price is high, the quality is low, or the service is bad.... but this was none of the above. The price was reasonable for the location: €37 for two pizza and 1L of their house wine. I say it is reasonable due to the fact that the colosseum was in our view for the dinning experience. The pizza was about average for Italy, maybe a little bit better. The house wine was delicious, but a little spendy for house wine (€17 for 1L). The service was absolutely fantastic though. If I could review the service alone it would be 5*. I would recommend this place if you're looking to grab a bite with the colosseum in sight! read more

She was able to answer all our questions was so friendly. Aurelio also assisted us and was incredible. Amazing pizza shop with more than just pizza. We flew in late evening and out aid bnb was a few steps away from the Pizza Forum. It was open late ,like 11pm, thank god. We were starving . It's literally just steps away from the colosseum. The staff was very friendly the place was clean. It can be really hard to get great value and great food in the area just behind the Colosseum. Deciding to go for a pizza with friends who were staying in this area, I suggested Pizza Forum, remembering it as a great, good value pizza in a usually pricey location. The restaurant is huge inside with a cavernous second hall that resembles a 1980s-era canteen. But who cares, right? We're here for the pizza! The staff were friendly and prompt, suggesting water (it was a hot day) while we perused the menu. There's no craft beer on tap here but reasonably priced Peroni bottled beers and Peroni on tap. I ordered a tasty Peroni Rosso Gran Riserva. Three of us had the pizza Romana (like a Napoli), another of the party chose the Campagnola and another the Vegetariana. The crust was thick and squashy in the Neapolitan style with a pleasant almost wholemeal taste. I had remembered the pizza as being very good but was slightly disappointed by the taste - the tomato sauce had a slight metallic tang. The mozzarella wasn't outstanding and the anchovies were minute - evidently of the cheapest kind. The bill was extremely low - €13 each - impossible to find in this area. If you take a trip to the Coliseum, be sure to eat here!! This place was just a quick walk from the Coliseum! We sat inside to avoid all the smokers blowing away on our food, although the outside had a wonderful view of the Coliseum. The inside was quite big and can easily accommodate big parties/groups. They took a while to offer us drinks and to take our order. Groups of people were spread out so I can imagine how they can miss some people. We ordered a few things between 4 people! We got the Santa Barbara pizza (cheese, spicy salami and mushrooms), we ordered the gnocchi (forgot what its called, but it was in a red sauce), and we got the penne with spicy salami (arabatia I think was the name, I may have messed it up). It was SOO GOOD. The gnocchi was okay but the pizza was amazing and flavourful, veggies were fresh and pizza is made in a wood fire oven!!! The penne was fantastic, a 5+!! The wait was totally worth it!!! They also have a big and amazing selection of pizza, pasta and risotto. The price about €6-€10.50 for pizza which was totally worth it! Better go! read more

I was leary of this place being so close to the Colosseum and was worried it would be a tourist trap but boy was I wrong. The service was superb with three different servers waiting on our table. If they make a recommendation take it as they did not steer me wrong when it came to the wine or the pasta. Anton (may have spelled this wrong) really knew his wine and helped me learn the great wines of the Lazio region. I had their house specialty pasta that was incredible. Horrible. The waiter in the black suit, with the weird running nose, was very rude, complaining we left one empty plate on an empty table next to us. That's because in his bad service, he brought all dishes at once (salad, entreé, pizza), and it didn't fit the table, besides I've never seen that. Anyway, nothing justifies beeing rude to customers. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the Colosseum. We were immediately seated outside and had a wonderful view of the Colosseum behind us. The pizza tasted ok, nothing to rave about, but it was just a great setting with the weather, the view and people walking around. The restaurant does seem to cater to a bunch of students and when I mean a bunch, I'm talking about 20-30. I was surprised to see how big the interior was and it looked like a cafeteria. We were recommended here by a family who lives in Rome. We didn't want to fall into a tourist trap so when we visited the colosseum we came here for lunch. The wait staff is extremely friendly. Very welcoming and happy! Our waiter explained a few pasta dishes and it all sounded very authentic. My vote is for the quality of the pizza. I found this restaurant thanks to a colleague of mine who is from Rome and suggested me this place when I asked him about a good pizzeria. It is located very close to the Colosseum so it's ideal for a walk afterwards. The pizza is "Naples style", that is not thin but thick and with abundant toppings and is very very good. The style of the restaurant itself is not that fancy (it's more like fast food style) but if you don't care about that and want to eat a great pizza this is a very good choice. read more

*Sexual Harassment and Unprofessional Staff* We went there two nights ago and liked the atmosphere, so we came for some coffee. I was looking around the restaurant, when a man in the kitchen caught my eyes, made eye contact, and did sexual things with his tongue at me. I was disgusted and just said "ew." A few moments later, we exited the restaurant, realized we got overcharged, and my boyfriend went back in. When he came out, I said, ya know we should really say something about that guy in the kitchen. My boyfriend went in and asked me to point out who it was. The guy was hiding in the back (I wonder why?), and someone ran over to him probably to tell him to watch out. We spoke to the manager who was just yelling, and they brought over the guy who did it. All they said was, "He's a good guy, he's married." Over and over again. I looked at him and I said, you know what you did, and he made the movements again with his tongue to try and prove he didn't do it. 5 men - the employees, then ganged up on us, called me a liar, and all turned their backs and walked away, asking what we wanted. My boyfriend raised his voice, and a waiter grabbed him by the arm and tried to drag him outside. They said they would call the police and I said go ahead, I will report sexual harassment. They made poo motions at us, the manager walked away yelled "Ciao" and went to sit at a table with some patrons. They then sent another patron out to tell the nearby restaurants about us. One man was helping us because he clearly knew that they were in the wrong, and offered to get us a drink somewhere. Please don't go to this place.They said it's "our word against the waiter's" and laughed when we said "sexual harassment." I discovered this pizzeria, last year, thanks to a dear friend of mine. She brought me here because the pizza is good and quite cheap for the location, you can see the Colosseum and it is right in the city centre of the ethernal city! I tried a lots of pizzas and they were always really good. You pay for a Margherita and a 500ml bottle of water around 7 euros. So, that's quite cheap for the Roman city centre!Believe me! :) The staff is really kind and take care about your needs. Came back for lunch after touring Colosseum. The pizzas again were delicious: Regina and a white pizza with sausage, cheese and a green vegetable (can't remember the italian word for it). We got house red wine (didn't see on menu but we just asked if they had it). Our servers, who speak English well, were so nice when we tried to speak Italian. Came upon this restaurant after a long day of sightseeing. What initially attracted us was the variety of dishes on the menu, every other place has the same type of pasta and pizza and can get boring after a week in Italy. I was skeptical, as I like to review everything on yelp before trying it but not having internet prevented me from doing so. Needless to say I am glad I didn't cause this place was great! We ordered the Dona Sofia Pizza (ham, corn, and white sauce..don't knock it until you try it). Then my husband and I, each ordered our own pastas which were delicious.
