    Salmon and mushroom pizza

Great service and food. Waiter was funny and engaging. Pizza was amazing. Made our trip to Italy amazing.

On our way to the Coliseum/forum, we stopped here for lunch. It was packed as you expect a popular location to be. They seated us outside to the right corner looking into the street/gas stop. We ordered the house red and it was great! My husband and I shared a Margherita pizza which was delicious! We also ordered the rice balls. It was tough to eat. The rice was undercooked, then fried. Perhaps it's a one time fluke but since I make this dish at home with left over risotto, I know what to expect. As with all Italian restaurants, one should never expect quick service. I have no issue with that as I'm very familiar. The servers don't all speak English, or speak it well. You're in Italy! It helps if you learn few key phrases to order food or ask for things. The staff weren't super friendly but were very efficient. Every single time someone was filling up diesel next to us, it was horrible! It wasn't constant but enough to bother us. Because of this, we couldn't wait to leave. I wish there was a clear plastic separator to prevent this unpleasantness. The restrooms are inside the restaurant. They are small and not the cleanest (as most restrooms are in Italy). It's a convenient spot across from the Forum, near the "wedding cake". Is this a spot I want to return to? No. Too many options in this area to have to smell diesel while I dine.

Fantastic service and food for an excellent price. The pizza was wonderful. The waiter was so attentive and even went out of his way to make it right when something of ours was delivered late. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Easily accessible and close to Colosseum and Roman Forum.

This restaurant has a great, classic Italian menu with perfect prices. I got something simple-spaghetti bolognese-and it was good, but the serving wasn't as generous as I had hoped. My mom got the seafood pasta and that came with a huge shrimp that she devoured. My dad got the veal saltimbocca with a side of potatoes. The meal was good and the outdoor cafeteria was relaxing.

Fried stuffed olives with pork and great mushroom pizza. It's just what you need after a long day of walking around. The outdoor seating is wonderful and the ability to not be harassed about buying socks by walking street vendors is much better. While the sauce is ok and holds its own against the crust, it comes out unsliced which is a bit jarring to tear at pizza like a savage. But the winner in this is the olives...holy mackerel... I'm going to have to marry someone that can make these.

Good pizza, pasta, and wine! The waiter hummed a fun Italian tune as he served everyone.

Good enough food near the Roman Forum. We ate the pizza and it was okay. Nothing to write home about but good after a long morning.

We were lucky enough to grab a table for lunch. We had a margherita, pepperoni, and a burrata with prosciutto pizza. All three were outstanding. The crust, the dough, the toppings - everything tasted fresh and came together perfectly. One of the best, yet simplest meals we've had. They also offer salads, though we didn't try any. The two behind the counter were fun and friendly. They take your order, ask where you're from, and then shout out your location when your food is ready - a really fun touch. Bonus: our table had a USB charging station, which was a really nice surprise while out exploring the city. There's also a small bathroom in the back for customers. This one really hit home. Definitely worth a stop.

Plus, the space is very hot inside, but better to sit near the window or do takeaway. I wasn't very hungry, but wanted one last pizza in Italy. When I saw that this spot does mini pizzas, which means I was able to choose a variety of flavors; I was so excited! Unfortunately, they ran out of the mini pizza dough and only had the large. It really is a shame, because I didn't think the bigger version is worth €15 each. Nonetheless, I ordered the Burrata & Anchovies while the husband got Pepperoni. I really did enjoy the flavor and chewiness of the dough. The burrata also gave it such a nice creaminess to balance the pizza that worked perfectly. Sadly, I had to waste a slice because I couldn't finish the larger pizza, so still a bit upset that I couldn't order the mini. With that said, it's a delicious pizza spot.

Seating area was very small. I was seated in walk way area and it was a bit busy with people going in and out of restrooms. Ordered Carbonara, Genovese and Aperitivo. I had Carbonara for the first time and I m not a big fan of it. I have to try it again to make sure if it's me or the way the dish taste. Genovese was ok, beef stew was inside of a bread. Aperitivo, I chose spritz which came with refreshing cocktails and three little fried pizza. Overall the food tasted acceptable but wait time for Cabonara was long. It must have been like 30 minutes. I was done eating everything and had to just wait for that. The restaurant was small and this is a classic popular dish. I don't think they should take this long.
