Popped in on a cold, cold night. As a Texan out of her element, pizza was a warm comfort food I was more than willing to partake in. It's kind of a hole in the wall on Pearl Street that sells pizza by the slice or as a whole pie. The crust was satisfyingly doughy and the red sauce is tangy and warm. Perfect for the biting weather. The dude behind the counter gave a strange answer when asked what his favorite was: cheese pizza with hot sauce. Really? I'm not going to order cheese pizza with hot sauce lol. Our friend took him up on it, though. The cheese pizza was good. It had that melted cheese pizza smell that would make the ninja turtles crap their pants, if they wore any. The "hot sauce" was a warmed cup of buffalo sauce. Gross! We got the supreme pizza and a Hawaiian pizza. The supreme pizza was loaded with bell peppers and olives. Our other friend loved the Hawaiian pizza (I'm not a fan of warm fruit). The water and soda is self-serve. There isn't much seating in the back. Little pricey at close to $20 per full pizza, but they're big and filling slices. Nice job workin' the ovens, guys! read more

This ties with Bronx Pizza in San Diego as the best pizza I've ever had. We had thin slices of the cheese pizza, bubbling hot and delicious. The slices are big enough for folding. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. read more

The pizza was good and the staff was nice. It's right in the heart of the Pearl Street area, which is pretty but touristy. Despite that, it was under $10 for two slices and a soda! They had a variety of flavors and a small seating area in the back. I would go again if in the area. read more

PIZZA WAS REALLY GOOD! Try the angry Hawaiian or meat lover pan pizza! For those of you who like crunchy in the outside but soft in the inside crust...This is the place!! Perfect balance! read more

Decent lunch specials ... thick slices have more flavor the thin slices. Service is always under par since it's new ppl working the counter all the time and owner is a major prick. read more

Pretty decent slices of pizza on Pearl Street. Definitely doesn't fit in the healthy food vibe in Boulder, so it's nice for a treat. We were in a rush so it was a good fix for dinner in a pinch. read more

We got a Groupon coupon when coming through a Denver , traveling with kids , pizza is always easy. The staff were so friendly and attentive , super helpful with our order since it was our first time in there . The kids , as always got the cheese , they loved it . Me and the huz got the pesto with veggie one, I'm kinda drooling typing this, it was SO good. The location is great , there is seating indoors but we opted for outdoors so we could do some people watching and see the street entertainment, plus there are gorgeous flowers everywhere . The staff checked in on us and seemed to genuinely care if we loved the pizza. I super recommend this place ! read more

Incredible hole in the wall... probably the best pizza in Boulder!!! Outdoor seating with lots of live entertainment or just good old people watching. Good variety of ready to eat pizza by the slice. Definitely a 10/10. read more

The service was really nice and quick and they had a good variety of different pizza. Love the single side option.

I found this pizza place via yelp and love it. I'm visiting from New Jersey and this place beats out any pizza shops I've been to (sorry Jersey). I had the pesto sauce cheese and the white. Delicious! read more

Pizza Colore - Pesto sauce cheese slice! So yummy! - Pizza Near Me - Boulder, Colorado

The pizza here is exceptional. It may not be the best-looking restaurant in boulder but the quality of the food they serve more than makes up for it. On top of the exceptional food the service is amazing, everyone is always kind and excepting and most of all patient. Definitely the best pizza spot in boulder. read more

Great pizza by the slice ! I had the pepperoni on white sauce and it was incredible! The eggplant is cooked very well.

outstanding pizza! Never a bad experience here. They toss the dough by hand which is super amusing to watch!

New Jersey born and raised, self proclaimed pizza aficionado weighing in here. Every New Jerseyan knows that you judge a pizza place by their plain slice and this place has got it. I've officially sampled all the pizza in Boulder and the slices from Pizza Colore most closely resemble your standard Jersey pizzeria slice. Pizza was not too thick and not too thin, with the perfect amount of flop for a good fold, while still maintaining a crispy crust. Importantly, the crust to sauce to cheese ratio was ON POINT. No pic cuz I ate it all, sorry folks. read more

Great pizza spot if you want a quick delicious slice. Would recommend to anyone not wanting to stop at a restaurant on Pearl Street. We stopped here while on vacation not being too familiar with the area but got lucky with place. read more

My wife and I stopped by during the winter storm. Compliments to the chef. Crispy crust with peppers, pineapple, and Canadian bacon. Great pizza . Chef knows his pizza! We enjoyed! read more

This place is cheap and the quality shows it! I ordered a cheese slice with prosciutto but when it came out it was super greasy and the prosciutto was still soft and not crispy! The only saving grace was they have good crust! Just everything else is sad and not worth the calories. Now we ordered bruschetta and guess what came out... large pieces of bread with cheese - this was just sad and nothing what a bruschetta should be! Oh and they brought out a "sauce" with it which was a tomato colored watered down sauce!! Disgusting! I will never come back here again! read more

Boulder is filled with great pizza joints. This is one of them. The pizza is first rate NYC style with a thin crispy crust. They have Sicilian pizza also, and it's equally delicious. All the pizza is available by the slice, and the slices are big. The calzones are to-die for. They're huge, filled with whatever you want, and equal to the best I've ever eaten. The dipping sauce is authentic Italian and excellent. I've saved the best for last: Their cannolis are easily the best in town. One reason for this is that they don't put the creamy ricotta filling in until you order them. Thus, the pastry shell stays crisp and the filling doesn't get stale. They have a small outdoor seating area that's great for Pearl Street Mall people watching. This is a simple pizza shop similar to many in NYC. It's not the place to take a first date; it's the place to go when you want great pizza, calzones, and cannolis. I recommend it highly. read more

Best pizza in boulder. Feels authentically NY. The other 2 super popular places in boulder are all foo foo hype. Right next to lazy dog!

This pizza place is one of those do it right corner places. So much flavor in one slice. Most pizza places don't cook the doe and crust just right. But here it was all light on the inside and crunchy on the out. Will definitely come back to try the other toppings. read more

Best pizza I've ever had. Got it fast and the price was great. Delicious flavor and the crust in the best part. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town. read more

It was alright! Nothing special but not bad either. Definitely the place to hit up after you leave a bar and get late night munchies before you head home. Had the pepperoni and a slice of pesto. I preferred the pesto personally. The guys behind the counter either just woke up or just weren't feeling it on a Saturday night. read more

Pizza was mediocre and prices were reasonable. Staff were nice, they gave me free ranch. Best take and go pizza in Boulder! Always friendly staff. The Pesto Pepperoni has been my goto for years.

Wow- Great tasting pizza, amazing cannolis! The oven the pizza is made in gives the pizza a flavor that is very savory. Their dough recipe is exceptional and has a NY city pizza flavor and style. The cannolis that they serve are outstanding. No where else in this part of the country can you get these amazing treats of this caliber. I think this is one of the few places serving dinner late, most nights of the week. read more

I live on 9th and pearl, and they say they have a delivery service, and I just called in today and a girl said that my cribs to far to deliver? Like what? 4 blocks, I don't know where the hell these people are from, but on the eastcoast we like money, and our pizza, if you can't walk 4 blocks get out of the F out of the game. I used to spend a ton of cash in this place and now I'll never buy another thjng from here. read more

Great for late night pizza on Pearl Street, staff is always nice and friendly, decent price per slice, out door seating.

I'm not going to say it's anything super special, but I've been to a ton of pizza places, and this place has some good pies. The deep dish isn't as good as their thin crust, when I asked about it, they had to check what the price was. I went for the generic normal red sauce, pepperoni. It hit he spot, I was walking around all day and hungry as could. So I really couldn't have asked for more. read more

When out for my walk on Pearl Street sometimes I stop here for a slize of pizza. Its always so good and fresh.

I have been to Pizza Colore before and had delicious, fresh pizza, however, last night, we went in for a slice and it was awful. They claimed that the pizza had only been out for 45 mins, but I am not convinced that is true. Also, when they went to reheat it in the oven, they burnt the bottom of both pieces, which tasted awful. I was pretty disappointed. read more

2 large pizzas--1 cheese, 1 spinach and ricotta--for $31.00. A little pricey, right? Delivery estimate was 45 minutes to an hour. They were on time--45 minutes (we were two blocks away). Thin slices, pretty good bread (though one was a little burnt). It hit the spot because I was super hungry, but taste was just okay. read more

Only pizza on pearl st mall so I admit, working right across the street I'll eat there from time to time . Angry and pesto are their best slices. Worked and made pizza for years as a teenager , so it's disappointing to pay top dollar for pizza slices made far in advance and heated up In a toaster oven. The price is also steep for what you receive. But the most annoying thing of all is they don't serve your slices to go In a standard pizza box. Instead they put it on the cheapest paper plate ever made with foil on top and one napkin , that's right , one napkin. (No napkin dispensers in the place, actually have seen two kids sharing one napkin in there before . lol) Really? Can't afford napkins? Or 10" pizza boxes ? By the time I get back to the office it's already cold. There are much better slices in boulder just not on the mall. Anthony's! Open up on the mall, please !!! read more

My standards for pizza are pretty high because I used to live in NYC. I usually go for Cosmos in Boulder, but my friend wanted Pizza Colore when we were going halves on a pie. We got the #15 white pizza (spinach, sun dried tomatoes, artichoke) and it was okay/decent. Pizza could of been a little more crispy. I also think they should source their sun dried tomatoes differently, they are really supposed to bring that pie together with a punctuating flavor and they were kinda bland. read more

An A-ok pizza, finished off with an awesome dessert. Pizza Colore is a pizza parlor that caters to those in need of a quick and tasty slice, especially after a long night partying (they are one of the only places within the Pearl St. area that offers food after the bars close, 2:00 am). Stopped by recently at around 9:00 on a thursday night for two slices of pizza and a carrot cake. The artichoke, red pepper, and olive white pizza was good, yet the olives overpowered the rest of the flavors - could have used more cheese too. As for the pepperoni white pizza, it was great - the spice from the pepperoni complimented the buttery goodness of the rest. I exchanged greetings with "Julio" (that's what they told me his name was) while waiting in line, who I came to learn wasn't only a cool dude, but made the desserts there. Unlike most places around here, Pizza Colore makes their own desserts: baked goods that encompass much more than their cannolis. I went with the carrot cake; it was possibly the best carrot cake I have ever had - the icing was rich and creamy, the cake was moist and decadent, and it definitely went down great with a belgian pale ale (not supplied by Colore). The staff was friendly and accommodating: willing to honor a few pizza punchcards for slices, offer some additional punches, and provide the option for a custom pizza if wanted, the trip was worth it. Despite the initial appearance upon entry, there is actually a decent sized seating area at the back of the restaurant with an additional two private bathrooms. Only complaint: the outdoor table against the window wobbled far too much. read more
