First time trying out this place and I was left disappointed. Alfredo sauce tasted like it came straight from a jar and wasn't anything special. I was expecting a richer, more homemade flavor especially for the price I paid. The food was okay overall, but nothing really stood out enough to make me want to come back.

Staff and service was great, good people. Interior is pretty old school and could use some work but that's not what I care about. Ordered a large cheese pie and it was very good. Perfect cheese to sauce ratio and a great crispy crust, little to no flop. Also very good medium buffalo wings, came out very fresh and the sauce was very tasteful. The pizza business is very competitive and I would prefer if I'm going to dine in please make it pleasant. I ordered a large peperoni pizza, very simple, very straightforward. It was average and a little too floppy for my taste. I won't ever be returning for a repeat of Napoli pizza, there are plenty of better pizza places in the Phoenix metro area.

It was ready fast and service was good! We got breadsticks and we always get a plain cheese pizza wherever we go so we tried that! The breadsticks were nice and fluffy with yummy seasoning on top. The pizza was not bad but we thought the cheese was maybe a touch off tasting? Also didn't love how flour-y the crust was. But otherwise it was good! Not bad option if you're on the west side!

2025 Update. The first time I stepped into Pizza By Napoli was in 2008. I was hooked at the first bite. The Pizza is perfect, the wings , the calzones bomb, the chicken parm delicious. Everything these guys do is top notch. This is a family business, they are good peoples. They have my business for life. For the price and what you get, you can't beat it. The dine in experience is great, classic old school neighborhood pizza spot. God bless and long live Pizza By Napoli. read more

OK, I hate to do this to any small family business, but they need to step up their game Stopped in for a slice the other day at lunch and at best it was meh.... The crust nothing to write home about almost tasted like it came from frozen dough. The sauce was a little salty for my taste and overall just not the best slice I've ever had. I was hoping it would be a lot better cause I really like the place the people seem really nice..It's clean , but they need to step up their game on the pizza..... maybe if it was a fresh pie not reheated slice it may be a little bit better.... read more

Iv been coming here since 2010 so 15 years maybe longer. Amazing calzones. Amazing wings! Phenomenal pizza! Same family members have been running it the entire time and longer. The ambiance is like an old school NYC pizzeria! I love this place they always whip it up solid like the rock of Gibraltar! read more

The cheese and pepperoni pizza is good. The mild wings are delicious. I don't know how they make the ranch sauce, but it's definitely 12/10. They probably add their own oil or something, it's a lightly thick texture. Goes great with the wings. The service is service as usual, I get it, they make food and service. The place is small, definitely a place to sit and eat. Not much entertainment, just a pizza joint with good pizza. read more

Ick. I'd be impressed if they could pass a state inspection. Really low class. One brother runs the front (and isn't very personable. Bro your gold chains don't make you hard. ) The other brother runs the ovens and seems like the twin that is barely holding this place together. It's not NY pizza. It is edible. read more

Being from New York and homesick I was in the mood for some pizza today and I've tried a lot of places around Arizona who have New York in their name and have found them to be the most phoniest waste of money joke of a pizzeria that wouldn't last two seconds in a five boroughs but this place is run by real New Yorkers from the old neighborhood and I got the two slice special and a drink and I am going to be back this place is great the service is great and it's very hard to find authentic New Yorkers making pizza by the size in Arizona you won't be sorry if you try this place read more

Waited in line and in for 45 minutes with 5 people who I told how good it was and guy at counter told us they were closing.it was new years night so I can understand but why make us wait and why cut us off when there were many inline.sorry we can never come back it's really close to my house but I feel like I let everyone down just by suggesting this place.SAVE yourself SomeTime and go somewhere else.maybe it was a color thing I don't know but it tucked waiting all that time read more

Tough finding good pizza in the Valley if you have New York standards. The two slice lunch special was 7 bucks with a soda. The order was taken by a guy, who might have been working here for 50 years. The slices were good and easily foldable, but the setup for the slices is a bit shaky. You never know how long the pizza has been sitting out before you order. My slices needed a good warmup, so they might have been there for awhile. Overall, would get the slices again. read more

Best and most authentic pizza food in the area. Great prices and amazing fresh food and flavor. I found this place to be old but extremely clean and this all fits into the authentic part of the experience including video games ... As far as price goes , this place cannot be beat in today economy you will not find better value for fresh cooked food. This place is not tossing canned sauce on a frozen crust disc and loading it with plastic cheese ... nope it will take some time for them to cook you a fresh pizza . As per the customer service - they are delightful and authentic and this can be mistaken by a snowflake overly sensitive person as abrasive but it's not how they are. They are a family business busting their tails for over 35 years to stay in business and only great and fresh food allows for this. I have been coming here with my family for 23 years now and my kids are grown. I came in this weekend with my adult autistic son and he loved the wings and he loves only great pizza. Needless to say.. he loves this place . So for my nonverbal adult son it is also a five star review. read more

The pizza is awesome but ask for well-done so the crust holds the weight of the cheese. I like oily pizza which this is. They give you ample cheese so asking for extra probably not necessary. If you like a lot of sauce ask for extra. Wings are solid just wish they had more flavor options. Staff is direct, won't necessarily say friendly but not rude or nothing. It's a cultural thing as the employees I always see are foreign. I strongly recommend this place. The biggest issue is that their website is dog**it. you know this place is legit because only large italian men came in to get pizza here. it isn't the warmest environment but then again i think that adds to the experience. it was two italian men taking orders and cooking and they were nice. the pizza is very generous on the pepperoni but the crust was a little thin. good pizza for a game or having people over if you want to try a good small business. read more

Absolutely FIRE!!!! Been wanting to try this pizza spot I've been eyeing for some time now. Absolutely incredible. I can't name one fake about this pizza. The crisp was outstanding from the first bite to the last. Out of all the pizza I've had in my life this might be the best cook job I've seen. Just look at how mesmerizing that pizza is. I still am thinking about it. I'm hoping I dream about it tonight. If you anywhere in a 1000 mile radius make this your first and last stop. I'm pretty sure the owner is from New York, pizza is so authentic even down the the accent. It's like any other pizza spot when it comes to the ambiance, a small clean restaurant. First off, they were late with my order. I had a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza and a fettuccine alfredo. This came out to $33.66. The pizza itself was of average quality but the quantity was good for its $19 cost. The fettuccine was not very good; the sauce felt very watered down. read more

First of all, it is much larger, modern, and very tastefully decorated without losing as much of the intimacy as they could keep. For instance, the decor on the walls makes you feel like you are somewhat at home, with photos of the Spinato family and other tasteful finishes. Everything is comfortable without being too casual or formal. It's definitely more open concept now, and bar-lovers will appreciate the full bar, as the old location only had a tiny one. The covered patio area is much nicer, and with an eastern exposure, it should bake in the sun less than the old place's western exposure for most of their operating hours. We were seated at a half-booth, and the restaurant was very crowded because it was their first Friday night at this location. Nonetheless, we arrived early enough to be seated without a wait. I will say that the food took a very long time to arrive--40 minutes or more--but I'm chalking that up to the crowd and growing pains at the new location. I'm glad we did because it's now my benchmark for New York-style pizza in Arizona. The first thing that stood out was the crust. This is exactly what a New York slice should be--thin, crispy on the bottom, slightly chewy inside, sturdy enough to fold, and never overloaded with grease. So many places think "New York style" simply means making a large slice. Lil Capo understands it's really about the balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and texture. Uber/Lyft would be my recommendation, but there is a paid parking garage down a couple of streets. We didn't need a reservation since we had a small party, but I would recommend if if you're coming with a party of four or more. We sat at the bar and ordered four dishes from different categories, which was a great way to sample the menu; though honestly I think we probably could have gotten away with just 3 dishes for a party of 2. We tried Yam Mamuang Boran (old-style green mango salad), Boo Pad Pong Garee (crab curry with ginger), Tom Yum Haeng Sen Yai (dry tom yum with wide noodles), and Naem Khao Tot (crispy rice salad with fermented pork sausage). Came here with my family and I don't know if they are racist or something but the old man was coughing all over our drinks as he was getting them and the the guy getting our pizza ready to be put in the over paused and the old man coughed in directly in the pizza. Right in front of us. No bullshit. We def we're not welcome. First time there and last. Seems odd anyone would act that way.. there's better pizza around the area. I've been going there for years and I'll never step foot in their again. The "manager" sexually harassed my girlfriend non stop. She called me and told me and I stayed on the phone the whole time.
