I sent a glowing review of Pixie Sticks boutique. Unfortunately, somehow I only gave it one Instead, it deserves 10 I highly recommend Pixix Sticks Grooming. The owners are fantastic to work with, and we love our groomer. Ari! I've been impressed with the quality work they do grooming our 3 dogs. I really appreciate that they're able to do a nail trim for my older Dachshund Doug. They handle both of our dogs very well and I am always pleased with the grooming job. They have done. Their help, friendliness and kindness really impresses me. read more

This is my honest review. The first groomer we had was not very polite, though she did a nice job grooming. She didn't last more than a few groomings before she was not working there anymore. The groomers have always done a very nice job and since that first groomer, they have all been very considerate. My daughter took our dog to the groomer the time before this when my husband and I were out of the country, and I was informed today she took him thirteen minutes late. This morning I brought him in for his next grooming and received a text when I was three minutes late letting me know my future appointments could be affected by being late to his appointment. I thought it a little strange that it came so soon after our scheduled arrival. I was driving and only a minute away from arriving, so I continued driving. Upon arrival at 8:05, five minutes late to the appointment, I quickly walked my dog to the gravel in front of the business to let him do his business. Hems an old dog and tends to pee when he gets nervous. I dropped him off and was back on my way home within a few minutes. When I arrived home, I mentioned the text to my husband who also thought it a bit hasty that they texted after only a few minutes of being late. I received a text that he was ready for pick-up and was out the door within about ten minutes for the ten minute drive to pick him up. After tipping them, the owner informed me that we were ten minutes late today and that my daughter was thirteen minutes late last June when she dropped him off. I simply refuted that we were that late today, while acknowledging that we were a few minutes late. He got irritated and informed me that we should not come back since I have no respect of his time. I restated that if I were in deed ten minutes late, I would understand, but I was not more than five minutes late. He suggested we could review the surveillance footage to prove it and I said I'd be happy to do that. He replied that he was not really willing to do that. He then said he'd see me around. Confused, I replied that it seems like he wouldn't since he had just informed me I should not return. He rudely said he was just being polite. I went on my way wondering why he would feel a need to be disingenuously polite. He was clearly agitated, and though I remained calm I was frustrated with the entire exchange. I paid generously for the services provided. Over $100 for a 15 lb dog is not a small amount! This place is not concerned with how they approach paying customers. Good thing there are a lot of other groomers in the area. I'm happy not to return again with the kind of experience I had here. I understand it's not good to be late. I remember getting after my daughter when I knew she was late to take him, but there should be at least a few minutes of allowance for people. Most of us have busy schedules like they do, and while, not ideal, are a few minutes late occasionally. If you are always on time feel free to disregard this review, but having some experience in sales and being customer service oriented, as I am, the owner's overreaction was an unjustifiable experience for me. I expect he'll respond in some nasty way to his own defense, but I want to put this out to potential customers, so they can avoid experiencing what I did there. Be on time to the second, or look elsewhere. That might not present a problem for some of you, but most people have occasional delays. In truth, the owner should thank me for posting, so only those who can be perfectly on time to each and every visit should enlist their services. Win-win! read more

This is such a beautiful boutique for dogs. We met the owners at an event and they were celebrating a birthday for one of their dogs. They had homemade treats that they were giving out for the dogs. This store is very well stocked with specialty items. We got one for our fur baby and he absolutely loved it. This store carries any and everything you can think of. Being in Arizona we know how hot the pavement is and they were more than willing to help out with sizing for doggie boots to protect their feet. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. So if you're looking for items for your fur baby, this is the place. read more

This was my first time here and exactly what I expected... lots and lots of cute dog things. I was looking for a portable dog carrier. They had a good variety to choose from. I ended up going with a simple black "DogLine" carrier, which is also airport approved. Hoping the next time we visit, we can coordinate with one of the fun dog events that are hosted there. read more

My favorite pet boutique I've ever visited! The husband and wife owners are very friendly and helpful. They have the cutest, most well made items to accessorize your pet! Some of my favorite items are their wag wear croc shoes size XXSH for pugs. They are the only shoe that doesn't fall off when he runs and he did great hiking rocky terrain. They have well made seasonal clothes, necklaces, bandanas and bow ties. They sell out fast, especially if it's a Saturday. Lots of parties and events. They also have a grooming service on site. Worth the drive from wherever you are in Phoenix! read more

I just knew when my Shih Tzu was going for a spa day at Pixie Sticks it was going to be outstanding and they did not disappoint. She has been groomed from another company for over a year. Even the before picture was a groom she just had 5 weeks prior. I will definitely be taking the drive to come here from now on. Arri you are amazing great job. Revisiting this former Yelp Elite Event location for their third annual Dog Halloween costume party. Held in green space just behind their shop at corner of Williams Field Road and Recker Road in Gilbert. Great set up underneath a pavilion in the space. Lots of vendors set up to educate dog owners on their services. There was also a mobile dog walking van that has a treadmill inside that will come to your house and let your dog run on the treadmill for some exercise. Especially helpful for those of you with high energy high drive dog breeds. City Vet from Gilbert was there too, and the staff was all too happy to answer questions about any concerns you have about your pet's health. Pixie sticks is a big sponsor of dog rescue efforts, and there were plenty of rescues there today strutting their stuff in costumes that were both homemade and marketed and available in the pixie sticks boutique. Some really cute and inventive stuff. I love the couple that runs this place. They are true dog lovers. At the end of the day today they were celebrating their rescues "Gotcha Day", with a cake for everyone. Luna showed up to run security for my daughter's dog, Tony Montana. He's a little black Pomeranian and was wearing a black scorpion outfit. I thought he should've won. For those of you at the under the stars event, pixie sticks had a booth up on the third floor, and they were handing out goodies and sponsoring a caricature artist who would draw pictures of your pup. I'm glad yelp helped sponsor their ice cream social earlier this year, and encourage everyone who has a pup to stop in to their boutique and check out some of the cool stuff. Put this one on your calendar for next year. read more

Coming from North Scottsdale, this is a bit of a drive, but this dog boutique is so incredibly unique, it's absolutely worth it! Honestly, I couldn't find anything else like it in the entire Valley. They have the absolute cutest, most sarcastic merchandise - exactly what I love. Beyond the fun vibe, the quality of their clothes and treats is top-tier. I even snagged my pup this amazing trucker hat, and I'm completely obsessed. BTW, if you can't make the drive, you can easily shop online! Which I came across an events page with themed photo shoots they do - incredible. I highly recommend this place. Hands down, it's the best dog boutique in the Valley. read more

Excellent shop with amazing customer service. They offer an array on unique and fashionable accessories for dogs of all sizes! One of the amazing things they offer are shoes for dogs- they will also custom fit them to your dog and teach you how to put them on. We were assisted by the owner who is truly amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. Highly reccomend getting your dog some crocs for the summer- they have all colors, sizes and even jibbitz! read more

Morgan is thorough and you can tell that she cares about the dogs that she grooms. Everyone is so friendly.

I'm going to be honest this response is pretty disappointing and feels extremely one-sided. Yes, I've had to cancel a few appointments, but what's not being acknowledged is the multiple times my appointments were also last-minute rescheduled on your end especially since losing your original groomer. The inconsistency has been noticeable. I've been a loyal client who has referred several people to your business because I genuinely supported you, and instead of that being considered, I'm being labeled as the problem. Also, calling my communication "excessive" for simply trying to get clarity on scheduling is a stretch. I was trying to coordinate, not be disrespectful. At the end of the day, respect and flexibility should go both ways and this response makes it clear that's not the case here. Wishing you the best, but this definitely wasn't handled professionally. read more

This review is for the boutique only--I haven't tried the grooming services yet, though I do plan to bring my pup Casper back for that in the future. The boutique is super cute and has a ton of really unique dog accessories, treats, toys, leashes, and more. It was a great departure from big box stores like PetSmart, which tend to have more generic or dull items. The treats were unique, with lots of adorable baked goods for pups. The clothing selection was absolutely amazing. They also have a variety of fun accessories like hats and sunglasses to get your pup into the summer spirit, along with a lot of fashionable items you won't find at most places. I ended up getting a pack of treats. The prices were super reasonable, and I felt like I was doing something good by shopping local. The treats and snacks I picked up looked like they were small-business owned as well. I definitely recommend checking out the boutique if you're in the area--it's super cute! Also, while you are visiting, you may realize that corgis look the cutest in clothing because there will probably be a corgi there that's dressed up super cute and there's nothing you can do about it unless of course you own a corgi. read more

Located in the Cooley Station area in Gilbert, is a cute boutique for dogs. This place offers pet grooming services connected to a shopping accessory store filled with treats, clothing, leashes and so much more. The washing/grooming station is in the back-very open and easy to use. They also have cute little paw signs on the floor to lead your pup to the back. We arrived for the store's grand opening and what a way to introduce themselves to the community. They offered a cute photo background to take with your pup, cookies for you and your dog, water and cute toys. The owner and staff were very inviting! I will bring my dog here for some grooming services soon! I got a a cupcake treat for our pup for the ride home. read more

I went online to book the service for my dog but it looked like they were booked out until September so I called to see if that was right and they did say they were all booked and I wanted something ASAP. They did let me know if they had any cancellations they could give me a call so they did have a cancellation and got my dog in within that week I called. It was our first time in there and the store itself was really cute. Lots of cute things and treats for your furry ones. The staff seemed all nice as well and it wasn't as busy maybe it's because I went in the morning. I told one of the lady that cut my dogs hair what kind of cut I wanted and she told me she would be done a little over an hour or so which I liked because most places your dog takes like 4 hours and my dog hates waiting that long. They texted me that she was done and I was pleased with her new fresh cut and just overall service. I'll definitely be coming back. Thank you! read more

Pixie sticks has been graciously grooming Benny and Pickles (our two 80lb doodles) the past year with outstanding service! Our groomer Ari has been so patient with our pups. Stopped in today after seeing another pup out and about with dog shoes. I haven't found any stores around that carry dog shoes, especially in the heat of summer. Came in with my puppy, Appa. I didn't get their names but the gals working are the best! They are sooo patient and really helped walk me through the best strategies to helping my puppy adjust to them. They know their stuff. We just got home and I immediately got a picture, then took them off so he learns to associate the shoes for walking. read more

Review is based on poor communication by the owner, James. We've been one of their first customers since they've opened, with consistent grooming appointments ever since. Since my 1+ years of consistent appointments, I've been late the last 3 times, my fault. It's been difficult to get anywhere exactly on time with a newborn. I also apologized when I did show up late. Instead of them having a conversation with me about how disruptive it is to their business for a customer to be late, which I get, James told me they cancelled all of my future ongoing appointments and to find another groomer. Caught me off guard, I didn't know it was such a big problem. Kind of an interesting business model for a customer who was one of their first customers, purchases store merchandise, attends their events, interacts with their socials, provided referrals in the past, gave a previous 5 star review, etc. my fault for being late, poor communication by James. I hope you do better James. and I'll be sure to be on time for my next grooming appointment with whichever business that is grateful to have me. From previous reviews, seems like the owner tends to fire customers for any tardiness without communicating that's an unwritten policy of theirs. I'm glad business is so good you can pick and choose and fire customers. Business may not always be that way. read more

Sarah is simply the best! We had such a bad experience with a past groomer that has left our Golden Doodle traumatized and extremely difficult to groom. We have gone through our fair share of groomers and it has been extremely difficult finding someone willing to take her. Sarah is amazing and extremely patient with her. We still have work to do, but she is the first groomer that has made progress and able to groomer her. She is always so excited to see Sarah and cannot even mention her name unless we are headed to see her. Piper always leaves happy and smelling good. I take my baby Diva for her little Spa appointment. They do wonderful with the shampooing and conditioner. They do like a conditioner dip, and it leaves her for extremely soft and helps with her tangled. She is a Pomeranian and is 14 months. I'm a hairstylist and I thought that I was gonna be able to take care of the grooming and let me tell you... Not the case! They are fabulous and I would highly recommend checking them out and also their prices are amazing. They also have like a boutique with adorable clothing, homemade dog treats, accessories, etc. we've been going there for over a year now and I would never go anywhere else. I'm extremely picky and I mean and had horrible anxiety about taking her to get groomed! They know what they're doing and they'll even text you or call you during the appointment if they have any questions or recommendations. They did not whack off my baby's hair thank goodness ! Diva loves her visit and she loves to be pampered. read more
