This is such a beautiful boutique for dogs. We met the owners at an event and they were celebrating a birthday for one of their dogs. They had homemade treats that they were giving out for the dogs. This store is very well stocked with specialty items. We got one for our fur baby and he absolutely loved it. This store carries any and everything you can think of. Being in Arizona we know how hot the pavement is and they were more than willing to help out with sizing for doggie boots to protect their feet. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. This was my first time here and exactly what I expected... lots and lots of cute dog things. I was looking for a portable dog carrier. They had a good variety to choose from. I ended up going with a simple black "DogLine" carrier, which is also airport approved. My favorite pet boutique I've ever visited! The husband and wife owners are very friendly and helpful. They have the cutest, most well made items to accessorize your pet! Some of my favorite items are their wag wear croc shoes size XXSH for pugs. They are the only shoe that doesn't fall off when he runs and he did great hiking rocky terrain. They have well made seasonal clothes, necklaces, bandanas and bow ties. They sell out fast, especially if it's a Saturday. Lots of parties and events. They also have a grooming service on site. I'm going to be honest this response is pretty disappointing and feels extremely one-sided. Yes, I've had to cancel a few appointments, but what's not being acknowledged is the multiple times my appointments were also last-minute rescheduled on your end especially since losing your original groomer. The inconsistency has been noticeable. I've been a loyal client who has referred several people to your business because I genuinely supported you, and instead of that being considered, I'm being labeled as the problem. Also, calling my communication "excessive" for simply trying to get clarity on scheduling is a stretch. I was trying to coordinate, not be disrespectful. At the end of the day, respect and flexibility should go both ways and this response makes it clear that's not the case here. Wishing you the best, but this definitely wasn't handled professionally. read more

Revisiting this former Yelp Elite Event location for their third annual Dog Halloween costume party. Held in green space just behind their shop at corner of Williams Field Road and Recker Road in Gilbert. Great set up underneath a pavilion in the space. Lots of vendors set up to educate dog owners on their services. There was also a mobile dog walking van that has a treadmill inside that will come to your house and let your dog run on the treadmill for some exercise. Especially helpful for those of you with high energy high drive dog breeds. City Vet from Gilbert was there too, and the staff was all too happy to answer questions about any concerns you have about your pet's health. Pixie sticks is a big sponsor of dog rescue efforts, and there were plenty of rescues there today strutting their stuff in costumes that were both homemade and marketed and available in the pixie sticks boutique. Some really cute and inventive stuff. I love the couple that runs this place. They are true dog lovers. At the end of the day today they were celebrating their rescues "Gotcha Day", with a cake for everyone. Luna showed up to run security for my daughter's dog, Tony Montana. He's a little black Pomeranian and was wearing a black scorpion outfit. I thought he should've won. For those of you at the under the stars event, pixie sticks had a booth up on the third floor, and they were handing out goodies and sponsoring a caricature artist who would draw pictures of your pup. I'm glad yelp helped sponsor their ice cream social earlier this year, and encourage everyone who has a pup to stop in to their boutique and check out some of the cool stuff. Coming from North Scottsdale, this is a bit of a drive, but this dog boutique is so incredibly unique, it's absolutely worth it! Honestly, I couldn't find anything else like it in the entire Valley. They have the absolute cutest, most sarcastic merchandise - exactly what I love. Beyond the fun vibe, the quality of their clothes and treats is top-tier. I even snagged my pup this amazing trucker hat, and I'm completely obsessed. BTW, if you can't make the drive, you can easily shop online! This review is for the boutique only--I haven't tried the grooming services yet, though I do plan to bring my pup Casper back for that in the future. The boutique is super cute and has a ton of really unique dog accessories, treats, toys, leashes, and more. It was a great departure from big box stores like PetSmart, which tend to have more generic or dull items. The treats were unique, with lots of adorable baked goods for pups. The clothing selection was absolutely amazing. They also have a variety of fun accessories like hats and sunglasses to get your pup into the summer spirit, along with a lot of fashionable items you won't find at most places. I ended up getting a pack of treats. The prices were super reasonable, and I felt like I was doing something good by shopping local. The treats and snacks I picked up looked like they were small-business owned as well. I definitely recommend checking out the boutique if you're in the area--it's super cute! I went online to book the service for my dog but it looked like they were booked out until September so I called to see if that was right and they did say they were all booked and I wanted something ASAP. They did let me know if they had any cancellations they could give me a call so they did have a cancellation and got my dog in within that week I called. It was our first time in there and the store itself was really cute. Lots of cute things and treats for your furry ones. The staff seemed all nice as well and it wasn't as busy maybe it's because I went in the morning. I told one of the lady that cut my dogs hair what kind of cut I wanted and she told me she would be done a little over an hour or so which I liked because most places your dog takes like 4 hours and my dog hates waiting that long. Review is based on poor communication by the owner, James. We've been one of their first customers since they've opened, with consistent grooming appointments ever since. Since my 1+ years of consistent appointments, I've been late the last 3 times, my fault. It's been difficult to get anywhere exactly on time with a newborn. I also apologized when I did show up late. Instead of them having a conversation with me about how disruptive it is to their business for a customer to be late, which I get, James told me they cancelled all of my future ongoing appointments and to find another groomer. Caught me off guard, I didn't know it was such a big problem. Kind of an interesting business model for a customer who was one of their first customers, purchases store merchandise, attends their events, interacts with their socials, provided referrals in the past, gave a previous 5 star review, etc. my fault for being late, poor communication by James. I hope you do better James. and I'll be sure to be on time for my next grooming appointment with whichever business that is grateful to have me. From previous reviews, seems like the owner tends to fire customers for any tardiness without communicating that's an unwritten policy of theirs. I'm glad business is so good you can pick and choose and fire customers. Business may not always be that way. read more

Sarah is simply the best! We had such a bad experience with a past groomer that has left our Golden Doodle traumatized and extremely difficult to groom. We have gone through our fair share of groomers and it has been extremely difficult finding someone willing to take her. Sarah is amazing and extremely patient with her. We still have work to do, but she is the first groomer that has made progress and able to groomer her. She is always so excited to see Sarah and cannot even mention her name unless we are headed to see her. Piper always leaves happy and smelling good. Pros: many! Wonderful staff, exceptional grooming, fair prices, adorable and clean facility. Cons: strict cancel/ no show policy that they enforce. I missed my grooming appointment recently due to my hectic schedule, which is completely on me. I felt terrible and understand the inconvenience this causes a business. The groomer didn't receive their tip or commission. I paid the no show fee of $90 for my 2 dogs. My future appointments were cancelled due to a previous appointment where I was late. The groomers do a wonderful job and the staff is very kind. I'm disappointed to not bring my pups there because they are great groomers and patient with my timid dogs. I was surprised at the outcome and regret that I wasn't provided the opportunity to continue bringing my business here. I recommend them as a groomer. If you have a hectic schedule or time management challenges, be aware they enforce their late and no show policy. Again, my fault for the no show, but I'm a paying and faithful customer. Outside of my time management, I'm also a kind and reasonable person. I thought paying the no show fee and "hey next time, we'll ask that you don't come back." Would have been more appropriate course of action, but that conversation didn't take place. I was told these conversations are difficult to have when I was cancelled. Well my suggestion is don't have them at all. Enforce your no show fees and let the customer decide if they want to continue to do business with you. I agree with the other customer that this business model isn't a good one. read more
